very pretty hotel with history. there is an souvenir store inside and showing some historical videos about celebrities who were staying here, also some old pics of the hotel. quite funny. the interior is well maintained and elegant. you could spend a full day in this island visiting the hotel and nearby beach which are same awesome
Hotel is historic. There was a huge event going on during our stay, and we were not apart of it, so we were ignored by staff and much of the hotel was blocked off just for them. Would have been nice to relay this information to all guests, as I would have came a different time. We stayed in the original hotel with water view. Rooms were dated and the hallways were something out of an acid trip...
Staying at Hotel del Coronado in the winter is a magical experience. The iconic beachfront resort transforms into a winter wonderland with beautiful holiday lights and seasonal decor, creating a festive atmosphere. While it might be too chilly for swimming, the beach is still perfect for long walks, and the ocean views are just as breathtaking. The hotel offers special winter activities like ice skating...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Del Coronado, and it was absolutely incredible! This beautiful resort is located on a stunning peninsula, offering breathtaking views of the ocean that took my breath away. The hotel itself is a gorgeous blend of historic charm and modern luxury, making it a perfect getaway for both relaxation and adventure. The abundance of excellent restaurants on...
It's the Del. That speaks for itself. Location is spectacular. It's a huge resort so expect that feel. The shore house section was amazing, modern and elegant. The cabana rooms had great views but need updating. Significant ant problem that was quickly rectified. They did a good job masking the extensive construction in the old section. Prices were what you'd expect for a beachfront resort
Beautiful, historic hotel in the beautiful setting of Coronado Island. The architecture is gorgeous. The hotel is set on a stunning beach, and is open to the public. We were touring the island, not staying at the hotel, but we felt very welcome. Parking is super expensive, but with a validated ticket and proof of having spent $50 at the hotel, you can park for $5 (not sure if that is per hour....

We had a fantastic stay at the Pendry. Our room on the 11th floor was beautiful with lots of lovely touches. It was absolutely spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They upgraded our room as well because of it being our honeymoon and turned up with some little chocolates which was so nice. The staff were really helpful and location was great in the GasLamp quarter. The pool and jacuzzi...
Great service and nice rooms. Would 100% stay here again. For a new hotel, they are off to a great start and can't wait to see more of what's to come. I only wish that there was a way for the hotel guests use the sauna and steam room without booking a treatment. All in all, it's a great place to stay. I also like there are so many restaurants and bars all on site with good food and drinks.
The room we stayed in was the superior king and it was great. I think the room would interest a young adult or couple. We were very happy with the room, it had all things we needed to have a good night night/time in the room. The bar was stocked, there was good candies/snacks, the shower was open and all glass, and we had a great view of the pool. This is definitely a hotel to visit again. I hear the...
Fifth and Rose is a nice hotel bar. Had a few cocktails and beers the other night and was impressed with the vibe and quality of the service and drinks. It's too bad Sam Diego doesn't allow outdoor fire pit seating after midnight, though, because this bar has some nice seating.
You'll be in good hands in this place. The Pendry has some good bars and restaurants to visit. I have been to this place two times and have had a really good time in each. Both with friends and a date and both times the services was on point. The staff is very attentive and provided us quick response time. Their service seems to always come with a friendly smile and good attitude. The environment...
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in December. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful when making reservation for restaurants and planning activities. The rooms were well maintained and had great views. The Lion Fish is a must visit when you stay at this hotel. We can't wait to come back to SD and the Pendry!

The US Grant Hotel was perfect. The valet was super fast, the car was always waiting for us at the door. The staff and service was impeccable in every way. Every staff member we delt with was amazing. It was like we were the only people there. The food was very good. The location is in a great area with plenty of things to do for nightlife with in walking distance. 20 min to Sea World, 15 minutes to...
The main entrance to the hotel is actually at the back of the property. At the front of the hotel, you have to use your room card to enter. There’s no one standing at the front doors to greet you, open the door, or otherwise welcome you to property. The reception team was friendly and efficient. I recommend the complimentary tour to learn more about the history of the property. I stayed on a high...
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel, which is in a great location. We could do without some of the homelessness around the downtown area, but the hotel maintains its elegance in its close surroundings. The room and bathroom were both spacious. I would like to give a huge shout out to Robert (head of valet) and Jerry (head of security) for their utmost professionlism and courtesy during...
I would give 3.5 stars. As the general hotel star rating goes, this is more 4 than 5 stars. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was fine, but pillows were not great, and there were some holes in both bottom and top sheets. The toilet was loose and moved when sitting on it. We figured that the location of the hotel would be great for exploring the city a bit, but the direct vicinity of the hotel...
The customer service at the Grant was impeccable, more than one can ask for at what I consider to be an affordable price. I stayed in room 604 which is located right beside the elevator. 24 hours a day you hear the elevator going up & down. I would recommend avoiding room 604 for this reason. It's only a guess as to why I got this room, but I was there very early before their usual check-in time...
Excellent Hotel definitely 5 Star in my book. Great bar with live music on the weekends. Be sure to shop wisely for rates. I got a great deal on my stay, but a mouth later the price was WOW! Room service was great. Room was very comfortable indeed. On my list to return again. Gaslamp Districts best!!

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic spa. I got color done on my hair and was very happy with the result. The staff is truly lovely, and the grounds and facilities are immaculate.
I played a wonderful round of golf at the Grand, followed by drinks in the restaurant. The grounds and course are absolutely top notch. Our experience was enhanced tremendously by our caddie, Joe. After a wonderful round, we enjoyed a couple rounds of drinks in the restaurant. The staff was warm and welcoming. Overall, the experience was fantastic.
Best hotel in San Diego, the grounds are excellent, well taken care of, and beautiful. The staff is very nice, and even though I’ve never stayed here, (I just attend events and various fund raisers there), I’m sure the rooms are incredible as well. The tea here is a must-do and I was very honored to attend one.
This hotel is the most amazing hotel in Del Mar. The staff is incredible, the views are amazing, it is without a doubt a wonderful place to stay. The staff are all amazing. They go above and beyond to help you and the servers are amazing. Especially Valdemar at Amaya. The housekeepers are the best. Every time they clean it looks amazing. The tennis courts are the best if you play. You just have to...
This place is absolutely gorgeous, inland off the 56 in Del Mar. Golf, spa, hiking, super nice restaurants. Service is tops. Decor is classic, ornate. Antiques, heavy mouldings, vast rooms and floral arrangements. Horseback riding available! Must try: Amaya eggs for breakfast. Special occasions, big fountain out front, lovely views.
I've stayed here twice, once for a photoshoot and once for my mom's birthday. Both times were absolutely fantastic. The grounds are simply breathtaking. I love walking around this place, it feels like you're walking around a castle. The first room I had included a beautiful balcony, as did the second. The second also had a lovely soaking tub, which I enjoyed every day we were there. I've eaten at every...
The Grand Del Mar is gorgeous. You literally feel like you have been transported to Italy. I did not want to leave. The rooms are spacious, the staff is so kind and fun and warm. Beach Village at “the Del” is among my top three favorite hotels in the world (along with the Ritz Paris and Ojai Valley Inn and Spa.) Would give 5 stars but there was no AC working in my room and had to find out at 2am when I went to turn it on. So I slept with the windows open and listened to the streets all night. Great staff. Valet gets a bit busy at peak times but they hustle. Rooms are good. Clean. Showers are awesome. Comfortable beds. Kimpton does sometimes but no coffee in the room. Minor issue. Wifi is fast. Pool is nice.. workout /gym is good. Would recommend.

We spent a night here during the holidays and we loved it. Very well decorated and festive, yet in a modern and classy way. Had a blast celebrating my Birthday and the 4th of July, the staff went out of their way to make our stay incredible! The room was gorgeous, and the bed very comfy, can’t say enough about the showers also! We were close to everything. Thank you again for an amazing memorable stay!
This was the view from our room! The staff was great! The rooms were clean and smelled fresh when we walked in. This is near the airport but we really couldn’t hear the noise! I enjoyed watching the planes! Also, they are pet friendly, I think, they are near a nice dog park! I wish I had known because I left my puppy with family when I could have brought her with me!

Botanicals! Spa Food Friendly snd helpful service especially Brian and Cody from the Valet services!
The Lodge has a very rustic feel, similar to what you'd find in the Yosemite area. Very spacious rooms. Fire pits are located throughout the property and fun to use at night. Very large pool with a bar and towel service. Steps away from the golf course. Ocean views from some parts of the property. Would definitely stay here again!
First time to this property and it ranks amongst the best service we've ever had. Very attentive staff and super well maintained. Great food, views and facilities. Everyone was sincerely friendly and always willing to help.
We ate in the Grill. Everyone talks about the hamburger, not impressed. The Burger Lounge is better. But service was excellent as was the chocolate croissant pudding.
We had lunch on the patio overlooking the pool and golf course. We were immediately seated and a team of servers attended our table. The food was prepared and delivered with great care. Fresh whole wheat or sourdough bread was offered by a roaming server. I had the Crushed Kale and Citrus Salad, it was perfection in every sense of the word. The moist and juicy Brick Chicken was thoughtfully seasoned...
Torrey Pines Lodge is incredible. This 5 star diamond resort has everything a nature girl could ask for. Amazing hiking trails on close to the property, which takes you on the beach. I was here for a business conference. Rooms are quiet and the windows open which is nice to let fresh air in. I had the chance to spend four days at this hotel for a conference in September 2023, marking my first visit to San Diego, CA. Prior to my arrival, I had already booked two cruise voyages. When I arrived at the hotel on Sunday morning around 8am, although check-in was scheduled for 4pm, they pleasantly surprised me by providing the room eight hours earlier. The view was spectacular. I could sit and look out these windows over the harbor all day long! I love the fact that the scenery changes with every boat/ship that goes by. City lights at night were equally spectacular. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub while attending a conference here. Lots of restaurants, walking distance. Fantastic experience!
I stayed here for an Insurance Convention. When I arrived my room was ready and was upgraded to a higher floor with a great view. During my recent stay, I had the privilege of encountering Jeremy, the valet guy, and I can't say enough good things about him. Nice resort with a gorgeous pool area. Rooms are modern and clean with daily housekeeping services. The property has several restaurants onsite but is also within walking distance of many more. The pool area has a tropical feel along with 2 hot tubs. The pool bar offers drinks and food at a reasonable price.
The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina epitomizes Southern California charm in the most elegant way. Nice space/room. Nice views. Conveniently located. Decent parking options (for a downtown hotel). Decent outside pool area. Overpriced would be an understatement, however... I only spent a short amount of time here but the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The interior has a very modern look to it. The room I visited was fairly spacious. The only negative comment I have is that finding parking at this location was a tad difficult. It may be easier if you are actually staying at this hotel but as I was visiting a friend, it was difficult to find on street parking
This hotel is amazing! The room was great, the service was excellent, and the location was prime for pretty much anything you could want to do. I absolutely loved my time in San Diego and can't wait to come back:)
The experience was quite good. Room was clean. Check-in and Check-out were painless. Decent bar, reception area. We did get a bit mixed-up between this hotel and another Westin 3 blocks down the same main street. That one is a little closer to the Gaslamp, if that's in your plans.
This review is for coffee/cafe area only. Stopped by to have coffee with some colleagues while in town. Grabbed coffee and banana bread. Both were good and fairly priced - about what you would pay at Starbucks or Peet's. Seating was plentiful and the space was pretty quiet even with other tables occupied. The Westin is attached to an office building so I assume it caters mainly to business crowd.
Classic Westin, always a dependable choice. Great food in the restaurant (had a great avacado toast), good coffee, good gym, nice rooms with good amount of space, pool (not big enough for lengths), hot tub. Great service as always.

It's a good hotel in a great location. The pools and hot tub were an excellent way to spend the evening. Be warned: be sure to consider the resort and parking fees in addition to the advertised nightly charge... And with parking at $38/day, it's a substantial difference. We saw fruit flies on the bread when we tried to take tongs from the bread plate on day one, on day two, the bread was covered, but there was a big fly on the ham, after that, we don’t want to have any food there.
We stayed 3 nights in a corner room on the 3rd floor on July 20, 2023 overlooking the pool. The property and rooms were very nice, we enjoyed the pool, tennis courts, breakfast, and paid $35 for covered parking. Complimentary water bottles each day of our stay was very nice. Our biggest complaint is the noise level of other guest rooms. Even though we were in a corner room, for 2 nights we heard a...
Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and 2 kids while we took a trip to the zoo and Legoland. I’ve stayed at several Hyatt’s in my day and we found this one to not disappoint! Our stay was delightful. The pool was excellent and we really enjoyed the space and pool bar. The on-site restaurants served delicious choices and room service was also convenient after a busy day. I am very happy with this...

The hotel itself was awesome! Staff was awesome! Rooms were beautiful and clean! I’m only giving it a 4 star because of the beds. I was so uncomfortable all 3 nights. Our room needed a new mattress and the pillows were terrible on my neck. Hotels need better pillows in general but this hotel room needed a whole new bed.
This hotel is something else, from the beautiful views to the convenience of location in the middle of San Diego downtown/bay. The cleanliness and attention to detail is second to none , from the warm welcome as you arrive from the front drive men, to the greetings from the front desk agents entering their gorgeous lobby. Michael Savage id like to add was a saving grace , as our trip was slightly changed...
We loved everything about our stay! We were here this past week with our 2 young kids. Starting with the Front Office, Santiago and Michael were amazingly helpful and provided excellent service. The rooms are modern and exceptionally clean. Housekeeping is very thorough, and anytime we called with a request, they were at our door within 10 minutes. The location of the hotel can't be beat. It's right...
Exceptional Stay with Beautiful Views and Outstanding Service We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is immaculate, offering breathtaking views that add a special touch to the experience. The rooms are spacious, featuring modern furniture, tall windows, and neat, well-maintained bathrooms. We also enjoyed a meal at the lobby restaurant...
I’ve stayed this hotel 5 times in the past two years and it is fantastic. The staff are always super kind and helpful, and try their best to accommodate our preferences. The location is unbeatable and within walking distance to many awesome restaurants and attractions. Love it!
Great location ! It's really close to the train station and walkable to tourist attraction. The Room was a bit smaller than expected but really nice view. The club room is good.

I stayed here a few weeks ago and the service and the rooms were amazing. The night before I left I realized I left my credit card in one of there bars by accident the night before I checked out in the hotel and when I checked out even the the bar was closed the staff was willing to check with showing my id for my credit card and my credit was there and normally I would freak out in a situation like...
Hard Rock Hotels have a special place in my heart ever since I first stayed at their Atlantic City location. Back then, I moved from a terrible hotel to Hard Rock Casino, and the difference was like night and day—going from a poor experience to a full-on 5-star treatment. Fast forward to my recent stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego for my birthday, and once again, they delivered an unforgettable...
Spent Thanksgiving week here. The hotel is very cool. And extremely clean. (Not only the rooms but the common areas as well). The staff was great. And our suite was super comfortable. *** BTW: The weekends tend to get loud and a bit rowdy.
Just fantastic. Marissa was fantastic to work with, making everything from planning to check-in and check-out seamless and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and professionalism made all the difference. The rooms and hotel itself are spotless and beautifully designed, with a modern, vibrant aesthetic that truly captures the Hard Rock vibe. Most importantly, the beds are extremely comfortable – perfect...
I’m not the type of person that would leave reviews good or bad. However my family and I recently stayed here on 11/2/24 for one night. We valet and from the moment we arrived to the day we departed, WOW! We were very very impressed with our stay. At check in they had a small line, I was greeted and walked by a staff member to the back where they check in special hotel members. Check in was a breeze...
Loved that stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. Being a rock'n roll fan, this was nice to be inside of this atmosphere. The staff was great and I particularly loved the view and the free bicycle offering.

A resort hotel right next to a nice golf course. Even if it is a resort, charging the resort fee, it is more of business hotel with less and outdated facilities. Overall, old and boring but good enough for biz trip.
In town for a wedding and the hotel is very nice. The front desk staff are so helpful and at the end of our first night our bartender Nick was awesome. He was very efficient with the crowd! Overall great time!
Staff nice. Rooms /all of the HOTEL needs to be updated. FUNKY and not worth the $$. I had stayed there a couple of years ago and it wasn't great, I assumed it was the level of room that was available at the time. This time I had the best room...........which was still as funky! My room wasn't cleaned until the 2nd day. TOO bad the location and property value warrants a complete overhaul. Stay somewhere...
Joanne and Torrey welcomed me with smiling faces when I walked into the restaurant area of the hotel. They were very interactive and informative, suggesting great items off the menu. They have an inviting aura about them with all of the customers. They should be rewarded for their outstanding customer service
The employee who helped me get my bearings was a guy from New York! Small world. I'm a frequent traveler and this is one of the few hotels that literally took my breath away at first sight. I went on a solo trip and was completely content just walking around the property and thinking all weekend. The 1st floor has an open balcony from the first floor which offers the best view!
My mom wanted to take a vacation here to see the beach after a hard year. Unfortunately there were some issues, but I'm impressed with how professional this front desk staff is and Tim, the GM, is also amazing. Thank you for taking care of my mom during her stay. I really appreciate it.

So I loved this place. It was a beautiful room (I had the junior suite) with a nice patio and very spacious. The bed was so hard though. that was my only complaint about the room other then that, It was beautifully furnished and clean. The pools were a bit lacking but it was nice to have to ourselves. The private beach was awesome.
Great fun hotel. Resort feel. Friendly staff. Clean refurbished rooms. Great facilities and amazing pools. The resort fee and parking fees are separately charged and rather high, but you get what you pay for, parking right next to the room and great facilities.
Stayed for one night and we had a nice experience. The rooms are nice and updated on the inside, could use some work on the exterior as they were built in the 60s and are showing some age. They're all little individual bungalows, some with bay views, other with garden views. We were staying with some other families and requested to be near them, but ended up on the other side of the island. Not a big...
Wow! I can't say enough about this resort. They are amazing! The staff, the grounds, the room (although I wish there was a screen on the door) all exceeded expectations and made my stay there the best I have ever experienced. The only downside was the "extra" fees associated 32.00 a day for hotel fees and 38.00 a day for parking. I will never be able to afford to stay there again, but for the...
It's a beautiful property with nice views of the bay. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. It's the perfect place to relax and not do anything. I wouldn't recommend any of the restaurants. You can always eat out or take it back to the room to eat. The staff is very friendly and the pools are nice. They do a great job keeping the grounds nice. The tennis courts and ping pong table being included...
Incredibly friendly staff, everyone we talked to was so helpful and nice. Everything on campus is (as you might expect) super expensive, from food to basics at their island market. We didn't drive, but I thought it was kind of ridiculous that they charge you to park your car overnight even though rooms have reserved spaces that no one else will use if you don't. Other than that, the entire area is...

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Great hotel, nice staff, and good location. This Hilton hotel was so clean! I was so happy to see they had a mini Starbucks on the 1st floor to start my day off. The food at their cafe wasn't too bad either! I'd stay here again
When staying for work, I judge hotels on: Cleanliness 4 (older property so hard to keep clean) Internet speed. 4 Shower Pressure/Hot Water 4 Gym Size n/a 1 is awful, 3 is good, and 5 is extraordinary. N/a means I did not use. **4 stars is everything on par, and I reserve 5 stars for something extraordinary that happened during my stay.
Very nice hotel. The bar and menu were very good. Rooms are large and comfortable. Would stay here again
Quiet Business Hotel I love using this hotel as a business stop. The club level provides an amazing breakfast every morning complete with eggs, bacon, toast, oatmeal etc... Vanessa and staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very clean and modern. Excellent stay!
The location is great. Hotel is walkable to all of the major downtown areas including Little Italy and the Gaslamp area. There are also a good night of restaurants within a couple blocks. The needs are comfortable as is to be expected from a Hilton property. The one negative factor of these rooms is that the a/c is loud and comes on frequently throughout the night. Plus the placement of the fan blows...
This place was great. Our room was was the biggest hotel room I have ever seen, no joke. We had a great view also. The problem was the food. Although it was not to bad, it was one of the worst Embassy Suites food experience I have had, given that they are usually great in terms of food. But the veggies in the omelets were not packed in, so it was impossible to eat it. Overall though, it was GREAT
Excellent service from the moment of arrival up to the moment of departure. They truly are about their customer service & go above & beyond to accommodate just about any requests. Lovely property in the middle of the city with cute desert resort oasis vibes, but not a perfect stay. The food at that restaurant was really good too! Unfortunately the walls are really thin in the rooms and we could hear our neighbors chatting late...
Lovely Lobby Bar and facilities. Valet was reasonable at $10 when I went. Was meeting friends for the Breeder’s Cup. Corey, the Bartender has great stories and makes a DELICIOUS Manhattan. There’s comfy seating by the fireplace in the lobby as well.
Stayed over here as part of a buss trip. The grounds are nice and provide a relaxing vibe. During the chilly May month it was too cold to enjoy the evening more but I can imagine in the summer it must be rather nice. I loved the lobby layout, it looked fantastic with the fire in the middle. Staff were friendly everywhere. Parking expensive at almost 50$ to put just your car I find it exaggerated. There...
Cute property. Good location. Average service. Room 265 felt damp & electric in room was not quite right (flickered). AC unit couldn't effectively regulate temp. Pillows were square bricks (ask for down pillows); in-room coffee was horrible - go to the coffee shop on property (good...

Had a wonderful three-day stay at the Gaslamp Marriott in San Diego! The location is perfect—just steps away from Petco Park and surrounded by downtown attractions. The hospitality was excellent, and it was a great escape from the heat of Arizona. Highly recommend this hotel for your next getaway!
Rooms are pretty clean but dated and have carpeting, just not my preference. Needs a renovation. Location is great. 2 of the 4 elevators were out for servicing.
It's a good hotel. We stayed only one night but we didn't really get that experience of a 4-star hotel. Price was reasonable, we booked it last minute. Reception staff was not very friendly. I guess they had a sold-out weekend and were a bit overwhelmed. The room is nice, nothing fancy but well appointed. We got a king-size bedroom and the bed was comfortable as you would expect in most Marriot hotels...
To be clear: the staff at this place is incredibly kind and amazing. However, this is by far the oldest and most outdated Marriott I've stayed in. During my time here, my sink clogged, was cleared, but then filled back up without me even using it because the sink is connected to the next door room (gross!). They did move me to a different room immediately and gave me some Marriott points, but for...
The room was a good size. Two Queen beds. When I emailed the hotel to mention our other son was joining us for two nights. The hotel moved our booking to a larger room to enable us to have a roll bed for our son. The room overlooked the Baseball stadium. The location is great for visiting the stadium, and the rest of the city. Valet parking was superb.
Location is ok but for the price a small fridge and pool would be have been nice for a 5 day stay at this price point. The carpet is sticky and has many stains so keep your shoes on. A strong positive is that they allowed for an early check- in (flight arrived at 10am) with no additional charge.

Had a fantastic vacation here with my wife and kiddos. Best location for a family in San Diego. Great service, great food and very accommodating. Only gave 4/5 because of inside the rooms themselves, I don’t think this hotel has been remodeled or renovated in over a decade or more, it’s falling apart and seems like a cheap motel in the rooms. Catamaran please renovate your rooms to modern times.
Wonderful time at this resort near Mission Bay & on Pacific Beach boardwalk. This hotel is in an ideal spot- a block from the beach. Restaurants. Night life, day time fun, shopping! Loved it. We only stayed a couple of days, but I liked the casual, laid back "feel" of the place. The rooms were nice, the decor could be updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. What I liked about the Catamaran Resort's location is it's on the "bay" side which is very nice and there are lots of water sports you can do! But just across the street is the beach (both are in Mission Beach just south of Pacific...
Probably the best part of this hotel is it's location situated between the bay and the ocean. If you want calm and quiet, the bay with it's lounge chairs and umbrellas is inviting.
