Was very nice,plenty of room for our large family of 6. Rooms clean and up to date. Very annoying that we HAD TO PAY TO PARK at the hotel. If you are a paying guest it should be included.

Decent place. But my TV was not working. Called reception and they told me will send someone but no one came 1st night. Somebody came 2nd night but couldn't fix. He said he will ask reception to check if there is another room but never got back. Parking is 13$ Xtra per day but there is plenty of street parking

I was very unsure about booking here after reading the reviews from previous guests. All I can say is that our stay has been very comfortable. Check-in was seamless and we even got a room on a higher floor (bay view) upon request. We've enjoyed our stay and will return when in the bay area.

We were able to walk to the hotel from the airport. When we were checking in there were two huge charter buses (from a college marching band) in the parking lot. Our family of 4 stayed at the Dana for 9 nights! It was amazing and we would go back in a heartbeat!!! Everything was very clean which I love! Stayed one night at the DoubleTree in late April. Pool was warm enough to swim, and they have a 1ft wading pool which is perfect for children. Location is good and easy to find. Wasn't impressed with the drink special at the bar, but the back patio is perfect in the evening. Rooms are what you expect from this kind of hotel.

We've stayed here three times in the past year and experienced a range of rooms. Decoration in all the rooms is a bit tired but they have the Sheraton signature bed which makes them comfortable and they have always been clean and tidy. The gym is good but could do with more regular attendance from the housekeepers - keep the towels restocked and gym smelling fresh.

This was a great rate for a room in this location. Bathroom was clean with no spots or mold in tile or grout which is what I always look for. For what we paid the room was well outfitted and comfortable. WiFi worked very well and there was free parking. Didn't get to try amenities (fitness room, pool or jacuzzi) but they all looked fine when we passed them by.

I've stayed here more than 20 times over the past 5 years on business and personal travel. The location is perfect for visiting Old Town, with only a brief 5 min walk to loads if restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. The hotel itself is nicely remodelled and has some enjoyable outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the great weather. It's also very convenient to both downtown and the airport.

Good location. Very nice staff. Very clean. Too many stairs take you out onto the streets of Old Town San Diego! Nice place, day and night. If you need to be in San Diego for an extended period: this is the best place to stay. The view is great. The freeway access is reasonable.

I love the way the hotel looks, rooms are rustic but cozy. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants/Old Town San Diego. Parking was $20 a night, which is a negative to me, but there is little to no street parking available due to the popular resort area. Complimentary water bottles, 2 per day. I received 2 complimentary drink vouchers for the bar. :)

My wife and I love this place. Its located in the middle of old town built into the hillsides very beautiful and walking distance to Everything. Shops restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly rooms are nice and comfy. We highly recommend it. I've been coming here for 30 years.

Hotel was nice, clean, large rooms and staff very friendly. Beds we're hard and not comfy. After three days I was glad to leave. We came in as a group, booked months in advance, and they had everyone a very large distance apart. The way the hotel is set up, it can be quite a distance and confusing getting to all the elevators to find your room. We had several elderly folks with our group, and...

The Best Western Hacienda is very conveniently located in Old Town San Diego. It is also close to public transportation into downtown San Diego. The hotel is clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The on-site restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced. All in all the Hacienda is a very good value.
