Guest service was excellent, from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant servers and more. The hotel and room (which had an amazing view by the way) were very clean. This is my go to place when I travel to San Diego. The hotel is incredible. The staff is really friendly and helpful. There place is always clean and the views of Coronado and the bay are incredible. If you ever have a chance, you must attend the New Years Eve party here. There is nothing like it!

It's the Del. That speaks for itself. Location is spectacular. It's a huge resort so expect that feel. The shore house section was amazing, modern and elegant. The cabana rooms had great views but need updating. Significant ant problem that was quickly rectified. They did a good job masking the extensive construction in the old section. Beautiful, historic hotel in the beautiful setting of Coronado Island. The architecture is gorgeous. The hotel is set on a stunning beach, and is open to the public. So I loved this place. It was a beautiful room (I had the junior suite) with a nice patio and very spacious. The bed was so hard though. that was my only complaint about the room other then that, It was beautifully furnished and clean. The pools were a bit lacking but it was nice to have to ourselves. Had a wonderful 4 days at Loews Coronado and plan to return next summer. Beautiful grounds and surroundings. The staff were very attentive and helpful. A wonderful 3 night mini getaway in a room overlooking the marina! It was a quiet, clean, peaceful place where my two teenagers could do online learning in the mornings and swim in the pool in the afternoons. I only spent a short amount of time here but the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The interior has a very modern look to it. The room I visited was fairly spacious. The only negative comment I have is that finding parking at this location was a tad difficult. It may be easier if you are actually staying at this hotel but as I was visiting a friend, it was difficult to find on street parking

The experience was quite good. Room was clean. Check-in and Check-out were painless. Decent bar, reception area. We did get a bit mixed-up between this hotel and another Westin 3 blocks down the same main street. That one is a little closer to the Gaslamp, if that's in your plans.

This review is for coffee/cafe area only. Stopped by to have coffee with some colleagues while in town. Grabbed coffee and banana bread. Both were good and fairly priced - about what you would pay at Starbucks or Peet's. Seating was plentiful and the space was pretty quiet even with other tables occupied. The Westin is attached to an office building so I assume it caters mainly to business crowd.

The employee who helped me get my bearings was a guy from New York! Small world. I'm a frequent traveler and this is one of the few hotels that literally took my breath away at first sight. I went on a solo trip and was completely content just walking around the property and thinking all weekend. The 1st floor has an open balcony from the first floor which offers the best view!

We had a fantastic stay at the Pendry. Our room on the 11th floor was beautiful with lots of lovely touches. It was absolutely spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They upgraded our room as well because of it being our honeymoon and turned up with some little chocolates which was so nice. Great service and nice rooms. Would 100% stay here again. For a new hotel, they are off to a great start and can't wait to see more of what's to come. I only wish that there was a way for the hotel guests use the sauna and steam room without booking a treatment. All in all, it's a great place to stay. I also like there are so many restaurants and bars all on site with good food and drinks.

Fifth and Rose is a nice hotel bar. Had a few cocktails and beers the other night and was impressed with the vibe and quality of the service and drinks. It's too bad Sam Diego doesn't allow outdoor fire pit seating after midnight, though, because this bar has some nice seating.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in December. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful when making reservation for restaurants and planning activities. The rooms were well maintained and had great views. The Lion Fish is a must visit when you stay at this hotel. We can't wait to come back to SD and the Pendry!

When staying for work, I judge hotels on: Cleanliness 4 (older property so hard to keep clean) Internet speed. 4 Shower Pressure/Hot Water 4 Gym Size n/a 1 is awful, 3 is good, and 5 is extraordinary. N/a means I did not use. **4 stars is everything on par, and I reserve 5 stars for something extraordinary that happened during my stay.

The location is great. Hotel is walkable to all of the major downtown areas including Little Italy and the Gaslamp area. There are also a good night of restaurants within a couple blocks. This place was great. Our room was was the biggest hotel room I have ever seen, no joke. We had a great view also. The problem was the food. Although it was not to bad, it was one of the worst Embassy Suites food experience I have had, given that they are usually great in terms of food. But the veggies in the omelets were not packed in, so it was impossible to eat it. Overall though, it was GREAT

This was a great place to stay, quiet and just off the promenade. Stayed at the conference center. Pool and hot tub outside were nice, and theres a more family friendly option at the main hotel. The La Jolla Marriott is a nicely renovated property with an excellent staff. While the building itself is somewhat older, the rooms are to current Marriott standard and the lobby is recently redone. The lobby restaurant is passable. With shops and a large mall in walking distance, you're better off outside the facility. The staff has been great everytime I stay at the property.
