Beautiful view of the San Diego skyline, and a wonderful staff that had such a positive attitude. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The pool was awesome. You could spend an entire trip at that pool and be pleased. Everything was top notch except the ridiculously high priced menu items offered for room service.

Guest service was excellent, from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant servers and more. The hotel and room (which had an amazing view by the way) were very clean. This is my go to place when I travel to San Diego. The hotel is incredible. The staff is really friendly and helpful. There place is always clean and the views of Coronado and the bay are incredible. If you ever have a chance, you must attend the New Years Eve party here. There is nothing like it!

Beautiful area with awesome firepits overlooking the boat arena. A great place to stay if you want to disconnect from things, but still be close enough to drive to activities. However it is pretty far from anything if you like to go out walking to explore the area.

Great location right off Shelter Island and I had a very pleasant stay, but it definitely shows signs of it's age. The phone in my room looked and worked as if it was from the 90s. Although it has a great view off the peninsula it feels pretty isolated, you need a car to get anywhere.

Had a wonderful 4 days at Loews Coronado and plan to return next summer. Beautiful grounds and surroundings. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Pool is great for kids and the pool staff is amazing! They really care about guest having a good time and go above and beyond what is expected. Somewhere between hostel and hotel you have to love this place for what it is. Yes, you can hear the street easily and the shower / bathroom facilities are shared, but everything is clean and the individual running the front desk is personable and available. Affordable, great location

I only spent a short amount of time here but the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The interior has a very modern look to it. The room I visited was fairly spacious. The only negative comment I have is that finding parking at this location was a tad difficult. It may be easier if you are actually staying at this hotel but as I was visiting a friend, it was difficult to find on street parking

The experience was quite good. Room was clean. Check-in and Check-out were painless. Decent bar, reception area. We did get a bit mixed-up between this hotel and another Westin 3 blocks down the same main street. That one is a little closer to the Gaslamp, if that's in your plans.

This review is for coffee/cafe area only. Stopped by to have coffee with some colleagues while in town. Grabbed coffee and banana bread. Both were good and fairly priced - about what you would pay at Starbucks or Peet's. Seating was plentiful and the space was pretty quiet even with other tables occupied. The Westin is attached to an office building so I assume it caters mainly to business crowd.

The room was a good size. Two Queen beds. When I emailed the hotel to mention our other son was joining us for two nights. The hotel moved our booking to a larger room to enable us to have a roll bed for our son. The room overlooked the Baseball stadium. The location is great for visiting the stadium, and the rest of the city. Valet parking was superb.

Location is ok but for the price a small fridge and pool would be have been nice for a 5 day stay at this price point. The carpet is sticky and has many stains so keep your shoes on. A strong positive is that they allowed for an early check- in (flight arrived at 10am) with no additional charge.

The employee who helped me get my bearings was a guy from New York! Small world. I'm a frequent traveler and this is one of the few hotels that literally took my breath away at first sight. I went on a solo trip and was completely content just walking around the property and thinking all weekend. The 1st floor has an open balcony from the first floor which offers the best view!

Although it was not to bad, it was one of the worst Embassy Suites food experience I have had, given that they are usually great in terms of food. This was a great place to stay, quiet and just off the promenade. Stayed at the conference center. Pool and hot tub outside were nice, and theres a more family friendly option at the main hotel. Wonderful, friendly staff, but I had to give this place 4 stars because I upon checking my bedsheets, (as i always do) I found tons of tiny hairs, as if someone had given a man a haircut at the foot of the bed. Fantastic Conference Support! Mario is the best!! I attended a conference here and the support staff was wonderful. Mario in particular sought me out multiple times during the two days and made sure all of my needs were met. He made it seem like a pleasure for him to help me out. I wish I could hire him. Fantastic experience I had no issues. Had a nicely appointed room. Got a deal it's definitely not cheap but I was comfortable and felt chic so worth it.

Rooms are nice, just slightly dated. The hotel provides free coffee and tea in the morning and happy hour with free wine and beer every evening. Walking g distance to plenty of restaurants downtown.

The service here is nothing short of phenomenal. The rooftop bar and pool is a nice touch, but is really the view of nearly every room, so it can get a bit lout in the early pm. With that said it quiets down well. Great coffee service in the lobby, but coffee makers are not found in rooms. However they can be requested. My only real complaint are the beds. If you enjoy rock hard beds you will be fine...

Nice hotel good location for access to food. A short walk to little Italy. Easy to get to the airport. The biggest issue I had was there isn't a protected area to pull in to valet your car. They really didn't design the entry well. Also valet parking is $50/ day so be forewarned. Room was small but fine. Very clean and modern. The rooftop bar is cool and has a nice ambiance.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful room. Room was tiny however and the view wasn't too great due to the construction next door. The rooftop had a great view. Valet parking was pricey at $56. Got a $60 food/beverage credit as a Diamond member. Didn't get an upgrade but that's fine. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Located next to Little Italy and close by to everything in San Diego.

I can't recommend this hotel and its staff enough. From the moment we checked in they made sure to make our stay special. The hotel itself is in a great location just a short walk from the harbor and Little Italy. The rooftop bar is so fun and has an awesome view. There hotel is opened by Marriott but operates like a really nice boutique hotel. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. One downside is parking. $48 a night. Other than that, the location is perfect for going on during the day or at night. I definitely recommend staying here. The concierge is also very helpful.

A great Marriott Autgraph Hotel. The Staff is awesome, rooms are very nice and you have plenty of space. I liked the location, close to the Airport and not to much traffic. Valet Parking is not inexpensive but it saves you time. The Hotel restaurant has some choices, perhaps not for everyone. There are limited restaurant choices in walking distance.

People usually take the time to write when they are unhappy. I take the time to acknowledge a few who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The experience was quite good. Room was clean. Check-in and Check-out were painless. Decent bar, reception area. We did get a bit mixed-up between this hotel and another Westin 3 blocks down the same main street. That one is a little closer to the Gaslamp, if that's in your plans.

This hotel is located in a fantastic spot. Just a couple of issues we had: 1- bathtub had some hair in it and 2 - booking was a pain...I had originally booked to stay 3 nights and had to cut it down to 2 nights, but the manager said we had to book for a 2 night minimum stay at a higher rate. Great location in the gas lamp district and excellent staff that will go above and beyond. Rooms are well appointed, bar and restaurant available in the lobby. There's also a business center for web searches and printing when needed. No free parking but valet is available for $50/night. There's a 24 hour convenience store across the street for everything from a six pack to a sandwich if you're not...

Nostalgic. Beautiful. Walking distance. Hotels can be pricey, but worth it! And here's why; Gas lamp has everything! Baseball stadium, bars, restaurant's, sights, rickshaws! All within walking distance for the most part. There is even water taxi's, and close to Coronado! There is an old battleship museum, and of course SeaWorld is around the corner! Parking however, sucks! Expensive, even at the hotel...
