They don’t use fragrance or air fresheners in lobby and common areas which is great since I find them bothersome. Beds and pillows super comfortable. A special shout out to Annabelle. The housekeeper who serviced my room
She was so nice and friendly and even had a robe and slippers delivered to my room upon request. Front desk friendly and accommodating. I stayed on the 21st floor in the Seaport Tower
My colleagues who stayed in the Harbor Tower did report a sewage odor. I think they’re working on this to fix it. Overall, a great stay at the Grand Hyatt
I was here for a business conference. Rooms are quiet and the windows open which is nice to let fresh air in
I had the chance to spend four days at this hotel for a conference in September 2023, marking my first visit to San Diego, CA. Prior to my arrival, I had already booked two cruise voyages
When I arrived at the hotel on Sunday morning around 8am, although check-in was scheduled for 4pm, they pleasantly surprised me by providing the room eight hours earlier

Jeremy's kindness and willingness to go the extra mile in helping me locate my misplaced belongings truly made my trip memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend Jeremy and the place he represents for an exceptional stay
Nice resort with a gorgeous pool area. Rooms are modern and clean with daily housekeeping services. The property has several restaurants onsite but is also within walking distance of many more
During my recent stay, I had the privilege of encountering Jeremy, the valet guy, and I can't say enough good things about him
The pool area has a tropical feel along with 2 hot tubs. The pool bar offers drinks and food at a reasonable price
Thanks to a good experience that made my stay wonderful!
However, while the hotel dazzles in many aspects, one element that may feel slightly limiting to some is the size of the rooms. They lean on the cozier side, which might not cater to those desiring more expansive spaces

We had a great time and the view from the hotel was amazing. Close to gaslamp quarter and right next door to the convention center (within walking distance)
Guest service was excellent, from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant servers and more. The hotel and room (which had an amazing view by the way) were very clean. They provided a cradle (not a toy) for my baby
The lobby was colorful and stylishly quirky. I would definitely stay there again
Our family visited the HOTEL FROM HELL on our last trip to San Diego. Before leaving, we decided to find another hotel where everyone could enjoy good taste. From the very beginning we had a wonderful experience
We made the reservation with Ashley who was at the front desk. She was very kind and accommodating to our crazy kids. She truly made the experience wonderful. There were no people in the hotel at all
the only downside is that there is no mini fridge to keep drinks cool. Very central area for walking to the local shops and restaurants in the Gaslamp district

Both with friends and a date and both times the services was on point. The staff is very attentive and provided us quick response time. Their service seems to always come with a friendly smile and good attitude
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in December. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful when making reservation for restaurants and planning activities
For a new hotel, they are off to a great start and can't wait to see more of what's to come. I only wish that there was a way for the hotel guests use the sauna and steam room without booking a treatment
The bar was stocked, there was good candies/snacks, the shower was open and all glass, and we had a great view of the pool. This is definitely a hotel to visit again. I hear the atmosphere is LIT!
You'll be in good hands in this place. The Pendry has some good bars and restaurants to visit. I have been to this place two times and have had a really good time in each
The rooms were well maintained and had great views. The Lion Fish is a must visit when you stay at this hotel. We can't wait to come back to SD and the Pendry!

Excellent Hotel definitely 5 Star in my book. Great bar with live music on the weekends. Be sure to shop wisely for rates. I got a great deal on my stay, but a mouth later the price was WOW! Room service was great
I have only visited in the evening, well after the restaurant closed. The bar is a very nice place for a drink and some really good, late night food. The bartenders are masterful some Hi Colin the wait staff is pleasant
This is San Diego history built by the son of president Ulysses S Grant! An historic hotel with beautiful public spaces. Walk through the lobby and feel the past. The restaurant has a wonderful menu and attentive staff
The exterior of the hotel can be misleading because of its simplicity but that is what makes it unique. The US Grant has a modern, cozy and classy restaurant and grill that offers a wide variety of meals
The bathroom was very nicely updated with a large shower. The turn down service was unexpected, and a great touch with the candy on the pillow and soft music after a long day of conference meetings
Great Pillows! I lead with this as many frequent travels will feel my pain of the awful pillows at many hotels. The bed was also comfortable and the room feels spacious and clean

Its very quiet for the area it is in, and rooms, showers, and restrooms are clean. I would absolutely stay again if i went back. I miss the beautiful patio overlooking the street already!!
A variety of great restaurants to pick. A historic area with charming buildings and a great atmosphere.
I stayed here for a week during my conference. Affordable, historic, and walking distance from anywhere you may need to go. The host, Katherine, was so hospitable and helpful
It's a great place if you're in town for the weekend to party. Because let's be real here, when you wasted and just need to crash does passing out in a $100 room differ that much from passing out in a $300+ room?
Yes, you can hear the street easily and the shower / bathroom facilities are shared, but everything is clean and the individual running the front desk is personable and available
The bathrooms and showers are shared, by that I mean there's a bathroom/shower on the floor but it's not actually connected to your room. All in all I would stay here again

We celebrated my birthday at Del Frisco's. Our waitress was absolutely darling. Her birthday was the same date as mine. Dinner and service was excellent.👌🏾👌🏾 We will be going back for sure!!😋😋😋
Great location ! It's really close to the train station and walkable to tourist attraction. The Room was a bit smaller than expected but really nice view. The club room is good.
I’ve stayed this hotel 5 times in the past two years and it is fantastic. The staff are always super kind and helpful, and try their best to accommodate our preferences
We loved staying at this hotel for our son’s wedding. It was such a nice time for family & friends to gather and visit as part of the wedding weekend
Great location with an amazing view! Comfortable, inviting rooms and excellent customer service. We will definitely stay here again

Beds are cozy as are the comforters. Business center is convenient. 65 per page to print 1st 15 minutes are free. Access to wifi via your room number
This hotel is amazing! The room was great, the service was excellent, and the location was prime for pretty much anything you could want to do. I absolutely loved my time in San Diego and can't wait to come back:)
Check-in and Check-out were painless. We did get a bit mixed-up between this hotel and another Westin 3 blocks down the same main street. That one is a little closer to the Gaslamp, if that's in your plans
I only spent a short amount of time here but the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The interior has a very modern look to it. The room I visited was fairly spacious
It may be easier if you are actually staying at this hotel but as I was visiting a friend, it was difficult to find on street parking
The only negative comment I have is that finding parking at this location was a tad difficult

Wow! So excited to come back! Booked this hotel for a terrific price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and I'm extremely grateful I stayed at my favorite hotel cheaper than what I normally spend
This Hotel is next to all entertainment. The rooftop bar is nice with a great view. There are many Bars and Restaurants with good food within walking Distance. The beds are very soft and the hotel and rooms were clean
But I guess mostly everyone was vaccinated at this time. but more importantly I really liked the roadside food you can grab such late in the night. They are delicious and pocket friendly
Social distancing is not foolproof. But I think at that time basically everyone was vaccinated. but more importantly I really enjoyed the roadside food that you can eat so late at night. They are delicious and convenient
Wow! So glad to be back! Booked this hotel for an amazing price in. ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and am very grateful to stay at my favorite hotel for less than what I usually spend

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can get one at HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. room was small, but nice view. Had no hot water the day of check out
I had a late flight that day and needed to shower before I check out. The front desk was very dry when we called. Also very dry/rude when we tried to store our bag
Check-in was seamless and we even got a room on a higher floor (bay view) upon request. We've enjoyed our stay and will return when in the bay area
I was very unsure about booking here after reading the reviews from previous guests. All I can say is that our stay has been very comfortable
Lovely hotel. Close to airport and right by the Marina. Easy access to tram and dining options.
I would say over all nice place and nice location but bad customer service. bad enough to only give one star

Location is central but the immediate blocks have a homelessness problem. Lobby and shared spaces have great interior design, with good amenities. Staff is fantastic in the hotel, less so in the joining restaurant
Would give 5 stars but there was no AC working in my room and had to find out at 2am when I went to turn it on. So I slept with the windows open and listened to the streets all night
Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. This site will compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is the best rated in the area
I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure! Great room and staff. Housekeeping came and graciously helped clean up a mess we accidentally made
The complimentary adult beverages at Happy Hour, and free coffee and tea in the morning, are a nice bonus. served in the swanky bar / restaurant adjacent to the lobby
Valet gets a bit busy at peak times but they hustle. Kimpton does sometimes but no coffee in the room

Excellent service from the moment of arrival up to the moment of departure. They truly are about their customer service & go above & beyond to accommodate just about any requests
Our room was was the biggest hotel room I have ever seen, no joke. Although it was not to bad, it was one of the worst Embassy Suites food experience I have had, given that they are usually great in terms of food
The needs are comfortable as is to be expected from a Hilton property. The one negative factor of these rooms is that the a/c is loud and comes on frequently throughout the night
Hotel is walkable to all of the major downtown areas including Little Italy and the Gaslamp area. There are also a good night of restaurants within a couple blocks
Plus the placement of the fan blows directly at the second bed. This makes me glad I don't have a King bed, but the double beds feel a little smaller than usual
The daily breakfast and daily happy hour included is great, but the cost of parking (valet only and $50 at time of writing) is absolutely absurd

Later on that day we got a knock at the door and it was room service that brought us up a DVD player and several movies that Anna went and picked out for us
Neighborhood appeared clean and safe. Restaurant on property offered a very nice breakfast within standard pricing. The staff was polite and friendly
She topped it all off with a wonderful handwritten note wishing us relaxing evening. The hotel is centrally located in downtown and walking distance to a lot of the major attractions. We highly recommend this hotel
We checked in at the front desk and both the girls who helped us were extremely friendly, helpful, and very sweet. Zach parked our car and took our bags up to oor room
Fantastic experience I had no issues. Had a nicely appointed room. Got a deal it's definitely not cheap but I was comfortable and felt chic so worth it.
Great location near bars, restaurants, Petco park, convention center and the waterfront. Pretty and inviting lobby where they host a free wine/beer happy hour every night. Nice pool area, good WiFi and very dog friendly!

Everything about this hotel was amazing. Stayed for 1 night and had one of the best experiences I've ever had. The room was modern, clean and the bathroom was phenomenal. We had a view of the bay and it was breath taking
One thing I enjoyed most was the water machines they had by the elevators, I could easily use my water bottles as they had options for shaved ice and ice water, something I've never seen before in a hotel but found it very useful
I can't recommend this hotel and its staff enough. From the moment we checked in they made sure to make our stay special. The hotel itself is in a great location just a short walk from the harbor and Little Italy
Luckily we had it all to ourselves 😊 One thing I like to point out in particular is they have water filling stations with ice on each floor so that was a nice little touch. Front staff and waitress was welcoming
Beautiful hotel with a beautiful room. Room was tiny however and the view wasn't too great due to the construction next door. Valet parking was pricey at $56. Got a $60 food/beverage credit as a Diamond member
We had a view to the water front which my wife loved. How you get to your room was interesting as you would hit a button by the elevator and the touch screen would tell you which elevator to take to your room

There is amazing food and some attractions close to the hotel. There are scooters available to explore the city center and the pier is a short walk away. This hotel made my trip much more memorable
If you have status there is a club on the second floor where you can get drinks and snacks and breakfast. The fitness center is also located on the second floor
It is very central, yet relatively quiet and only a few walking minutes away from many points of interest, such as the Midway, the Marina or the Gaslamp Quarter
I wish I could remember her name so I could thank her, but the front desk person kindly gave us an upgrade to a corner suite for 3 nights and wow, that room was good! They set us up with the pack and played around, so we were fine when we arrived late Thursday night
We really liked the atmosphere of the hotel. Street parking was also available right outside the entrance, and since we were out most of the day, parking was almost free! Overall, I will definitely return to this hotel

Check-in and Check-out were painless. We did get a bit mixed-up between this hotel and another Westin 3 blocks down the same main street. That one is a little closer to the Gaslamp, if that's in your plans
There's also a business center for web searches and printing when needed. No free parking but valet is available for $50/night
There is even water taxi's, and close to Coronado! There is an old battleship museum, and of course SeaWorld is around the corner! Parking however, sucks! Expensive, even at the hotel your staying at!
Please let them know that we sincerely appreciate going the extra mile to make us comfortable and welcome. I know staffing and return protocols can be an issue. Despite this, the service is top notch

Absolutely gorgeous hotel!! The staff is outstanding and very helpful!! Located within walking distance to multiple restaurants, lounges and nightlife. Some rooms have water views. Excellent spa and fitness center
From the palatial architecture, the fresh cookies at the front desk, the inviting parlor, to the wonderfully solid brass appointments in the bath, this hotel encourages guests to embrace a more measured and deliberate pace in life
The Westgate hearkens back to a golden age of travel and leisure. Every detail has been given attention. Every member of the staff is welcoming and engaged. The rooms are serene and sumptuous, perfectly prepared

The rooms are very clean and the showers are great. The beds are comfortable; I sleep better than I do at home. The fitness center is a good size and the pool is nice. I like the sports memorabilia on the 6th floor
Very modern hotel right next to Petco park! It's right in the middle of all the action, across the street from the Convention center with the Gaslight district a few steps away
It is also across the street from the convention center and down the road (walking distance) to the Gas Lamp District. The rooms are big enough and clean but my bed was pretty poor
Room service was also superb! I got the Kobe Beef Burger with Truffle Fries and it was amazing!!! Be warned though that that have a 21 (or 22, I can't remember)% service charge and a 4 dollar delivery charge, all of which are already half the price of my burger
They didn't have a detachable shower head or a bidet but it was not a big problem for me. Service was impeccable and employees were able to answer my questions and concerns be it from the reception or via the phone
Stayed at room 1933 and had the view of PETCO. Though it was blocked with the solar panels of the stadium, I got a small glimpse of the games for 3 nights. Both the room and bathroom were big

Thank you for a great vacation and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know
It is located in downtown San Diego. Walking distance to gaslight area. We went there for dinner and drinks, the atmosphere was great. The hotel staff we interacted with were very kind and always attentive
Parking spaces are limited near the hotel, you can pay to park at the hotel, but if you are looking for something inexpensive, you can park on the street. Everything is very clean and in good condition
I learned the hard way (you have a car, but no parking space or I believe it was 20 or 40 bucks per day to park in their garage). I had to return the car next day. Concierge service was great as well

The center of the room is the sink and mirror area flanked by separate commode and shower rooms. The shower has two rainfall heads and no curtain in the room
I only stopped in for a quick drink with our convention team after a long day of setup. Close to the convention center - just across the street. The bartenders and waiters were great - helpful and fun
The front desk team, the Bell staff, housekeeping team, the sales team. we're all just Amazing!!!! Yummy, Creative Food! Pretty property & well taken care of. I would go back there any time ?
