Hotel Empire Albania

My fiancée and I visited this hotel early this September. From the photos we thought this hotel would be great. The hotel room we were staying in was small and directly under the rooftop pool. One day someone broke the railing in the pool and hotel staff was fixing it during the night so we barely got any sleep. From the bathroom there is a disgusting smell coming. The smell is really really bad. The cleaning ladies for a whole week we stayed there didn’t even wash the floors in the bathroom, nothing I don’t know if that’s normal in Albania but not really acceptable. They mostly only did the bed, the floors in the rooms were spot mopped. The pool was ok, small but clean however sun beds have seen better days and some of them were moldy. We bought the all inclusive package however I strongly suggest not to get it. The alcoholic drinks were such bad quality. We also didn’t get battled water in our hotel. The “private” beach is located about 300m away from the hotel, there is also located the hotel restaurant where for the food package we had to go for every meal except for the breakfast. A bit confusing for us. The food options were limited. Nearly everyday the same type of food. The beach is very dirty itself, so much trash it’s ridiculous. The sun beds at the beach same quality as in the rooftop pool. The 4 stars the hotel has has to be some kind of joke. It deserves maybe 2 at the most.

I do not recommend this hotel. Someone (propably room service) stole money from our room! It is UNACCEPTABLE !!! Of course the hotel did nothing about it. I will not come back there. Also when you have all inclusive coffie and tea are only for breakfast. Beside of that it was ok, but stealing someone property from private room is just disgousting…

Stay away from this hotel! This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. First of all the room we got was not as described when we booked. We booked a family room that should have 2 bedrooms, but there was only One bedroom and another room with 2 beds. There where no table and chairs and the balcony was just a joke. When we checked in the room was very dirty , all over, also the bed linen. When we complained the next morning they did not even bother to clean it, and after 8 hours at the beach we came back to the same filthy dirty room. The Staff was rude and what the owners would compensate us was one free lunch 🤬 The whole family was extremely disapointed and we left after 2 of our 7 nights - it was just awful. It seems that they try to save money on every part in their business, and the included breakfast was the worst we have ever had on a hotel. It is a shame that they Are allowed to rate this crap as a 4-star hotel. We noticed that almost every of the other guests also complained about some things about their stay. Do yourself a favor and do not book a stay at this 1-star hotel. The only positive thing we have to say is that the beach bar is decent. (But the beach restaurant was as crappy as all the rest)

WE DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WARN AGAINST THIS HOTEL!!! THE CLEANING SERVICES AT THIS HOTEL WE HAVE BEEN FRAUDED! BEWARE! ADDITIONALLY ON THE WALL A MUSHROOMS! THIS HOTEL DOESN'T DESERVE 4 STARS

After reading all those nice comments here about this hotel I decided to book a room here. The hotel looked beautiful outside but the most interesting started inside. First you have to pay 30 euros if you want to check in before 14.00. Reception and hall looks quite nice. But when we came into the room we were shocked, the smell from the bathroom was terrible! The room was very dirty we used even desinfektion on furnitures cause we were afraid to touch something, there were no bedsheets for my daughter, no safe, glasses for water and even no toilet paper! We were so tired after trip but I had to search after staff to bring everything missing. Food there is another issue, it was terrible and even if we had all inclusive , most of the time we ate at the restaurants in the city. Good that prices in Albania are not so high. Once I wanted to order tea but I had to pay for it! Alcohol was for free ( very low quality alcohol) but you had to pay for tea even though we had all inclusive. Some of workers were nice but some of them were quite ill-tempered. Hotels beach was ok, comfortable beds and very nice guy who was working there. But sea was dirty there and the beach as well. So think before booking this hotel!
