Hotel Alion

We had a horrible check out experience. When we woke up at 7.00, we started packing and realised that there is no electricity, and later also no water. We were not able to brush our teeth or charge our phones. My boyfriend went downstairs to ask when there will be electricity and they told him that not soon. So we had to bring our 3 suitcases down from the 3rd floor in complete darkness.
I asked if it was planned, and they said “yes” - so they could have let us know beforehand. However, I am not quite sure if they understood my questions because of their English. Later, the same day but in another country already, we realised that because of the rush and darkness we forgot our cash in the room (quite a solid amount). Of course, when we called, there was no trace left of the money (they said that probably the cleaning lady threw it off. Possible, but I am not sure if that’s the truth).

Our stomach hurt after the pizza at the hotel’s restaurant. In the first room the AC was not functioning so we got another room where the the hair dryer was not functioning. (btw, we got the room changed by a very nice girl at the reception - she really cared if everything is fine and tried to help us several times. The only plus of this hotel is she).

But all the above is not the biggest issue. The biggest problem is treating animals like decorations. They put two parrots in a small cage that’s twice their size. The birds are not able to spread their wings even. I doubt that they allow them to fly. Also, they put them in a place where people are constantly smoking and it’s very loud till late evening. Birds need to sleep and fly. They are not part of the furniture. Same about fish which they keep in a very small aquarium.

We have been visiting this restaurant for the third year already, but unfortunately this is the last time:-( The wait for service is long. They brought the ordered water to drink and after 10 minutes they forgot the juices and coca cola for the children. . Salat Fruta Deti le marin brought with two shrimps and 6 rings of cuttlefish a heap of lemon. The sea bass fillet that was brought last was a piece of fish about 4mm thin 4cm by 15cm and two pieces and 5 pieces of potato. That was already the highlight insolence. The quality has really gone down compared to previous years. Unfortunately, I won't be going there again.

First problem in the hotel we had at check in. The room we reserved through booking was given to someone else. They give us a substitute room to sleep in, and then we move to a room where we stay for 4 nights. Keeping the hotel and rooms clean was very bad. The rooms stink. They didn't change our bedding for our entire stay in the hotel. On the penultimate day of our stay, we receive one clean towel. Also, you don't even get toilet paper.

There is only one elevator in the hotel, which during the 5 days of our stay in the hotel was mostly out of order.

For cafe-restaurant, also we had a bad experience. The food is average, but the staff is very bad. They laugh at the guests. Some guests may get everything, and some may not, depending on how the restaurant staff evaluates you.

The only one of the hotel staff to praise is the man who maintains the beach, kudos to him.
