Where to stay in Ksamil

The owner of the hotel is a great character, the staff is top notch, very sociable people... the hotel really gets all the praise, the location is great and also the atmosphere... and about the restaurant and the food not to mention the breakfast buffet that doesn't know what tastes better... the dinner is also top notch... overall 10/10 for them...

Excellent service, cozy. The owner himself sits and monitors the guests' impressions. And also trees, on the second floor. Impressive.

Clean and modern apartments, every room with air condition. Manager is very kind, helpful and bakes cake for guests everyday. Variety of breakfast will satisfy everyone

It is a very nice new hotel with a lot of potential (modern rooms, rooftop terrace). I feel like you could do more with it, especially for a 4 star hotel i would expect more. I only have some negative points: - staff doesn't speak English at all. So they couldn't help us with information or problems, however they were nice and friendly but you can't communicate with them - no coffee for breakfast...

I liked the hotel. Clean, nice. Breakfast is served on the roof. The view is beautiful. The only drawback is that it takes about ten minutes to get to the beach along a not very nice road.

A recently opened family hotel (June 2021), the hotel itself and its rooms are absolutely new. The management is from Britain, so the service is very high, like in an expensive hotel. The rooms are quite large and pleasant, furnished with everything you need, including refrigerators and air conditioners are new and powerful. What a fantastic place to stay! We were so lucky to have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very new (opened in 2019) and has a modern look. Rooms are very clean and service is perfect. Mike and his family make you feel at home. They give tips on where to go for dinner, which beaches to visit etc. Breakfast is amazing! We stayed in Sunway hotel as a couple with a 9 months old baby for 11 nights. I cannot truly express just how pleasant our stay was. Real friendly hosts. Gave insider tips for beaches, trips and restaurants. Very prompt service and anticipating probable additional help by providing additional blankets for cool nights. Hotel is close enough to the beach.

Great location! In 5 minutes you are on the beach or in the center. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is brought directly to the room and if you have any questions or problems, you can always help.

Agreement about type of room, made before our trip, wasn't accomplished when we arrived. Most of the rooms are modern, reconstructed and clean at the beginning but you have to ask for regular room cleaning, changing towels, sheets, toilet paper, everything which should be by default. Absolutely brilliant place , hotel is located just 4 min near beach , rooms are large king size bed with aircondition and balcony. .cleaned daily and towel changed every day . Hotel esmerald is a great place. It’s family run and i must say the staff are amazing. They helped with anything we needed for example they reserved out seats for the beach. The mother and son duo are literally the best. We felt welcomed like it was our home.

The Area Hotel and especially its staff were simply great! We enjoyed our stay there a lot, the rooms were nice, modern and clean, the breakfast was so delicious and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The location is great as well, not too far away from the beach (but enough to not be bothered too much by the noise) and with many good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Having arrived at the the Area hotel unexpectedly having only booked a room 15 minutes earlier via the internet (see Manta Resort Hotel review). We received a warm welcome, the room was ready in 10 minutes and Ton even arranged a birthday cake for my partner. Extremely friendly staff, informative and very welcoming. Breakfast is good and the room is one of the best we have stayed in Albania. Although the price is a bit high compared to Albanian standard, it is worth it. (Much better than the classy hotel across the road…)

We had the most amazing stay at Poda Boutique! We were originally staying at a hotel a bit further from the beach but once we saw Poda we knew we had to stay!! Modern hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. However far from being a 4 star hotel: poor breakfast, very tiny and not convenient room ( bathroom has even no space for hang a beauty-case), no facilities (only little bar in the garage where serve breakfast), bad Wi-if connection, private beach at 2km far and we learnt only once there. For this price or even less you can find way better deal around.

We stayed here in the off-season, which meant we were the only guests on some days and operations had to be adjusted to suit these special circumstances.
