Soul has tremendous potential, but unfortunately falls short in both food and beverage service as well as pool maintenance/cleanliness and service. I wouldn't recommend staying here in January when occupancy is high, as the lack of attention to guest needs, particularly around the pool area is very disappointing. The absence of a dedicated pool attendant or hotel staff results in a messy environment with scattered rubbish and wet towels strewn across sun chairs. Additionally, the lack of enforced pool rules leads to inappropriate behavior, such as eating in the spa area with children, culminating in instances like finding fast food floating in the water, detracting from the otherwise beautiful pool deck view. The pool bar is consistently closed, and attempts to order poolside food are often futile, with online orders taking an exorbitant amount of time to process. Furthermore, the room service menu is limited and fails to offer a satisfactory variety. Despite these issues, the rooms themselves are impressive; however, the overall experience is marred by the disappointing lack of service throughout the rest of the hotel.
