Hotel Sophia

They gave us bad experience and bad things, I gave them bad reviews for them. If you wanna stay here, I make sure your deposit (150$) will be gone without any return. The WORST I had ever stayed. Better you all stay in better hotel from this hotel.

Booked through a third party booking agency( which I have never had any issues with in the past) was told we had only booked and paid for 1 room not 2 and told they where fully booked. Showed booking confirmation stating 2 rooms booked and paid was told if we paid more money they may be able to do something but reminded them that they said they are all booked out, was then told we can have the room and book another room else where. Asked me to email them with the authority to speak with booking agent told her that we were standing in front of her just ring them we will give verbal authority. The staff went out back room and came back and told me they spoke with booking agent and have canceled our booking and we would get a refund.
Contacted booking agent myself they had not had any cancellation from hotel and no record of speaking to anyone. Went and asked for name of person the hotel spoke to to be told no they emailed. Again booking agent had not received any email from hotel.
Went and demanded a copy of email sent was told it was sent from head office. Refused to leave until I got email as the booking agent had now canceled my booking but then told me it was a non refundable booking.
Was given a copy of my booking confirmation instead of email again demanding a copy of email and refused to leave. Got ignored until I started to make a scene in what they called a lobby. Staff went back out the back again and finally given a copy of email which was time stamped 2 minutes before handed to me with the cancellation. When I pointed out I had been lied to for an hour denied everything even with witnesses in the room.
Cheap night in Melbourne for Billy Joel cost 800 for another room. Will be seeking legal advice for the extra cost.

they didn't mention about Deposit when I booked it, they charged me 150 extra and still couldn't get it. I highly recommend you to not staying here.
mostly the staffs were extremely rude.
to staff, think what if you guys be treated like that ;
