The Phoenician Resort

The location is great but the building is old and very (very!) noisy! We came with a 16 month toddler in a family trip and had renovations going on during the day and a night club just under our window until 3am… a nightmare that we have paid for! The music and bass sound vibration lasted until 3am.
Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place if you want to have a nice and relaxing time.

If you can, avoid. Customer service needs improving. This place thinks they can charge for toilet paper!!! Room key cards didn't work on more than a few occasions resulting in security having to come and open doors. Washing machine in the room was moldy and the smell was putrid so couldn't use. They don't clean the rooms while you stay there so if you need towels etc, you need to wash your own.

In the room rules, they ask customers to remove their own rubbish in the rubbish chute located on each level. No chute on my level so we had to cart the rubbish out onto the street in public bins to not get a 'cleaning charge.' There was so many rules I took video and photos of the room before leaving so they couldn't claim and ridiculous fees as I don't trust them.

It is in a good location however, go somewhere else if available until they pick up their game.
