Rydges Melbourne

An absolutely delightful overnight stay on Saturday night. My daughters and I enjoyed excellent, professional yet also relaxed and friendly service . We stayed in a twin room and king and both rooms were so welcoming. The beds super comfy, nothing to fault. Online check in and out worked well but also very helpful staff available when needed. The buffet breakfast was also delish, plenty of options and again the quality of the food and service was excellent. Thank you all. Great team work. We will be back.

Incredible stay, excellent rooms and a lovely atmosphere upon entry. Special shout-out to Keylan who was such an amazing staff member. Also definitely check out the breakfast if you get a chance.

We had a wonderful stay at Rydges Melbourne and very highly recommend it. The hotel has been newly renovated to a high standard and has a modern decor. Our Twin King Suite was spacious, very clean and quiet. The only very minor quibbles are that the wardrobe is very narrow (not big enough for two people staying a week) and the sofas are too compact (not designed to lounge on while watching TV). The location is very central and easily walkable to Chinatown, Emporium, Melbourne Central etc. Check-in/out is done online and via a kiosk, so staff interaction was minimal, but they were always friendly and welcoming whenever we walked in or out.

I don’t normally write reviews unless I’ve had an amazing experience. I got just that at Rydges Melbourne. The customer service was amazing, Ebony helped us out any way she could and accommodated to our needs 24/7. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of options and great variety. The new modern design of the hotel looks spectacular and is somewhere we will definitely consider staying again on our next trip to Melbourne , thank you!! :)

This is a wonderful place to stay when in Melbourne. Wonderful service and amenities, great location and great value for money. A special mention and really big thank you to Ebony who went above and beyond to help make my fiancee's birthday very special. She was wonderful. Thanks for everything again, you'll see us soon!

This Rydges has a brilliant location and as of mid 2023 will have had a complete and total renovation come to completion. This is going to see this as a very well placed hotel very capable of making a splash in the Melbourne CBD market. The restaurant has always been well above average and with the newly refurbished rooms it's going to be top notch city accommodation with a reasonable price tag.

From welcoming check in to leaving this hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay in the city. Very well located in easy reach of bars, restaurants and of course all of the many spectacular places to visit in Melbourne. The staff were very friendly and polite, although things went so well we didn't need their help with anything other than how to find the parking garage, which we used for the entire stay. We opted out of the hotel breakfast due to it's high cost and our readiness to use local cafes in walking distance rather than overeat from a large display!
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time.

Nice hotel but I do get the vibe it's intended for corporate trips rather than weekend getaways. That being said, the bed is really soft and comfortable and the room is nicely presented. Was a little underwhelmed with the selection of teas but that's a personal gripe.
