Spa didn’t work, pool was smaller than expected. Guest services kept giving us inactivated cards for the lift. Tv chrome cast didn’t work. Breakfast had no teaspoons, had to ask 2 waiters to get it. Long time to check out (for all guests at 11am) and $5 for a bottle of water. 5* hotel, should be complimentary?
The hotel is passed its best before, can see it being glamorous in its hay-day (10-15yra ago) but not anymore.

The hotel is located at a fantastic location and our twin room was pretty huge with a small kitchenette. Overall, the stay was pleasant but the room cleaning took a little too long. On 2 days, we left the notification to make up room when we went out but when we got back several hours later, the room was still not cleaned. Otherwise would have gotten a 5 star rating.

Worst hotel experience for me!! Never give them your credit card details as they just charge whatever they want!

They took my credit card for $400 security deposit when I checked in which is fair. I checked my credit card after I have checked out and saw my credit card got charged another 3xx AUD. We went back and asked the receptionist in person and were told that the charge was for the stay. Told her that we have booked and paid through trip.com, she said she could not locate the payment but would refund. She didn’t refund but charged me another $7xx AUD payment instead! This transaction lead to my credit card has gone overdraft as there were total of $15xx aud incorrect charged in my card! They better pay for my potential interest charge on my card for these ridiculous transactions.
When I called the receptionist he said he would call me back in 5 mins and send me a refund confirmation which I waited for 20 mins still no email and or call back! They are not trustworthy and just charged whatever they want!

This brand is now dead to me!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. The room was clean and had everything I needed. I liked the look of the interior and corridors as well. The pool was nice and clean. The location is good, not far from a few different tram stops. It’s also convenient to walk around the whole central area.

The room was spacious, and the location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and it had a massage bathtub, but unfortunately, it was covered in rust stains.
