DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Tidy room with beautiful views of the Flinders Street Station, good breakfast, great location and excellent staff that goes above and beyond. Bonus point: the warm signature cookie!! Highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be back when I am next in the area.

Great location, just opposite of the flinders st railway station and middle of the Melbourne city where you can find a lots of local attractions and foodie places. Rooms & bathrooms are tidy and clean. Breakfast was good too!
However, the rooms are quite smaller compared to other star hotels. And no view for normal rooms.if you want a view, have to book suite room with balcony. Recommend this more for business travellers and not really a great choice for a leisure/family travelers.

It was friday night 14/7/2023, we wandered into DoubleTree hotel on the rumour that the hotel always has the unique cookie aroma, which is its signature way of greeting guests and distinguishing itself from numerous other hotels. When we entered, the cookie aroma was very nice and soothing, almost therapeutic. One of the staff member behind the bar greeted us and asked how could she be of service, we told her of our curiosity and queried about the cookie aroma and how it was made. She answered all of our questions and at the end she gave us 2 freshly made cookies so we could enjoy the aroma wherever we went. This is excellent customer service that went beyond any expectation. The lady was extremely friendly and enthusiastic in answering and encouraging further questions. She was attentive to us and never gave us the feeling that she was bothered by our presence and our questions, even though we were not staying guests. Thank you very much for your service and we are very grateful for your kindness and your knowledge.

Our second visit and stay and its certainly proving to have been a good choice. Great location. Good rooms. Quiet at night. Excellent staff. Good bar and restaurant. What's not to like?

Had a great warm welcome from the reception team and even got a yummy warm cookie on arrival!
The bar and restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive with great memories.
Room amenities were well equiped and very clean.
After a hard working day I enjoyed sitting next to the warm fire and enjoying a few happy hour wines.

Lovely relaxed establishment. Really liked the Cafe Restaurant with its booths etc. Comfortable beds & nicely appointed bathroom. We requested a quiet room & relinquished our view. We got what we asked for, a beautiful sleep! I'd do that again! Staff happy & well trained. Loved our 2 nights there!

I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton on Flinders St and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept like a baby every night. The view from my room was also incredible, with stunning views of the city skyline.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better - right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping. It made exploring the city a breeze.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and the concierge was always available to offer advice and recommendations.

The hotel also had some great amenities, including a fitness center and an on-site restaurant and bar that served some seriously delicious food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Overall, I would highly recommend DoubleTree by Hilton on Flinders St to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Melbourne. The staff, amenities, and location all make for a truly exceptional experience. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great hotel, no major issues - we were originally placed into an accessible room but i didn't book this and would rather it be available for someone who needs it. The staff were so lovely and were happy to change it for me. I assume it was so busy that rooms weren't ready, but they moved us within 10 mins.

Rooms are great, clean, tidy. Bathrooms are also great.

The location is perfect, right at the station and close to everything - from shopping, to many many food options, to restaurants down by the river.

I would stay here again!
