Our 2-night stay at the Harbour View Tower room was fantastic, with a stunning Darling Harbour view that was a highlight of our trip. The location was also superb, offering easy access to the city's main attractions. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast spread, which added to the overall great experience.

Checked into a not functioning room where the toilet is very smelly once we stepped in and the air conditioner is not working which make the room too warm and smelly. Call counter requested to change room refused to change said the hotel is fully booked. Went down to request and waited the technician to come check to PROOF that the room condition is bad to change another room. No car park at the hotel. If you drive and raining, no shelter available. Super long queue for breakfast at Sunday morning. Waited for more than 40 minutes. Plenty of vacant tables available but not offer to the hotel guests in the queue.

The sound proofing of room not very good, at night I could still hear noise when people walking in the corridor, the car speeding in the street down. I stayed on 12th floor. The TV allows for Google cast won’t be connected if using iPhone. The Location is next to Darling Harbour.

Stayed for 13 days at Hyatt Regency Sydney and had a great overall experience. The room was compact but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I had a drainage issue in my first room, but the staff handled it promptly and even upgraded me to a room with a lovely view of Darling Harbour – really appreciated that gesture!
The location is great – quiet enough to relax, but still just a short walk to the CBD, so it’s super convenient. One small thing to note: no dental kit was provided during my stay, so bring your own just in case. Otherwise, service was excellent and I’d happily stay here again!

Everything was good except I had to remind three days in a row to front desk to ask housekeeping to fill up body wash. Had to take shower 3 days without body wash.

The first day was almost spoiled by a giant roach that decided our room belonged to him.
However the staff, particularly at the concierge/bellhop area were consistently great and they were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel's corridors were really showing their age with the peeling wallpaper, but the rooms themselves were fine.
Oh and the roach? We rang reception and they immediately changed our rooms!

In terms of scenery and amenities, this hotel is perfect. I booked a room in high level with Habour view so that I can watch the fireworks while I’m enjoying champagne in my own room. That was a top-notch experience. However, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The big window has noticeable stains that highly affect the view. The toilet is badly designed that the lid can never stand up straight. Flies are all over the washroom which is outrageous!
