Just got back from a four-night stay at Les Suites and we were very happy with our accommodations. We went for Winterlude and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and what was going on. Our room had a small kitchen which was perfect for our family of four. Rooms are spacious however had a smell and furniture is worn. Only had a small restaurant for breakfast and nothing else.

Great place and service. That’s a plus for sure. Didn’t like the squeaky floors though. We could hear neighbouring guests walking up and down and we were also worried about moving around for fear of disturbing other guests. Isn’t there a way the sound-proofing issue could be comprehensively solved for this otherwise great place?

We booked it fairly last minute but were really happy with our choice! Kevin was really friendly and made an amazing breakfast! All the rules were very easy to follow and he had everything organized including parking situation! Definitely will visit again.

It is an old house, not a real hotel. The floors are squicky and the walls are thin.

What a charming place! This hotel experience truly felt like a home. The hostess, Susan, treated us with warmth, like family. The rooms smelled clean and disinfected. Would recommend.

I had a great night with my boyfriend. The care taker on the property was so sweet and kind. She made us feel really at home and was always quick to flex her schedules to fit us. I was going to miss breakfast on Saturday morning due needing to be in Ottawa and she still worked it out so I could have breakfast that morning. She really is the best part of the property. Friendly home. Welcomed by the Owner. The room with a king size bed plus a private bathroom which is clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered was really surprising. A lot more than continental and nice table setup. We did enjoy the night we stayed. Definitely will come back again!

We had such a pleasant visit at A La Villa Rivermead. A cozy spot where you can feel at home. Only minutes from Downtown Ottawa we could feel free to go back and forth any time of day. Super friendly staff and very attentive. They offer computer service, snacks and fruits trough the day. We will definitely go back.

Lovely breakfast - the portions were a bit too much for me though The place, though small, is cozy and welcoming. I had forgotten the entry code but the host was around and ready to help - much appreciated. It is a surprisingly good place to stay. The reception is very warm welcoming, our room key was prepared in advance and the check in is very quick. The room (the suite) is very big, clean and with all kinds of amenities. The only thing one may concern is that the room decoration is a little old, however not a problem at all.

When you book an independent motel, you aren't booking a big chain, recognize the difference and you will be very happy. Stayed for a few days in one of the suites, little dated but roomy, well maintained. Every suite has a little covered patio area. Didn't try the pool but it looked clean.

After a strenuous ordeal with our vehicle breaking down on our way home from a family reunion, we lucked-out finding this hidden gem. The staff is incredibly hospitable, and more than pleasant. I called one of the front desk people to confirm my reservation but he didn't even speak English and had a hard time communicating with him. Not the type of service you're looking for. Although, the motel room was really good and I liked how the washroom came with a hairdryer and those non-sleep plastic rugs you put in the bath tub.

For a motel the accommodations surpassed my expectations, the room was tidy and had more utilities than expected.

From the moment I arrived, I was enthralled by the beautiful garden overlooking King Edward. The architecture and interior design of the BNB was amazing, and it was truly an experience. Richard was a pleasant and easy going host and made our stay one to remember. They can cook a mean breakfast too! Last but not least, Sandy was a doll and made us feel all the more welcome.

Our original reservations were canceled last minute and we contacted Marc the night before we arrived. Everything was absolutely lovely. It was peaceful, the food was wonderful, the house is such an extraordinary one. It was the perfect place to get away from our chaotic 9-5 lives. We're planning a trip in the summer just for the atmosphere.

Stayed for 2N and 3Days on a single Queen bed and its comfortable. Its affordable and nice to stay for a vacation. Staff are very professional and nice, even gave us present upon arrival. Don't expect too much on the place, but it provides basic needs for the stay. You get what you paid for basically. Huge parking lot.

While I was working as a driver I stayed at this motel. It is clean and well-maintained and only one staff member could speak English but that was OK with me. Because I could not speak a word of French. The next time I am in Gatineau I will be staying there again.
