Where to stay in Nicosia

I had another amazing stay at the Hilton Hotel Nicosia, as always. The service, comfort, and overall experience of the hotel are excellent. However, the hotel is seriously let down by the appalling condition of the external swimming pool changing rooms and shower facilities. The smell is horrendous, the level of cleanliness is very poor, and the space feels unhygienic to the point where I do not feel...

Nice and comfortable rooms. Pool area offers a lot of sunbeds and large fluffy towels. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunny weather. Staff is friendly. Lobby is stylish. Free shuttle bus to downtown is offered from Monday to Saturday (except on public holidays). I had short but very pleasant stay here. Supermarket, cafes and restaurants are in walking distance.

I had a great stay at Hilton Nicosia during my business trip. The hotel has a calm and relaxing vibe, perfect after a busy day. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The Hilton Nicosia staff were incredible, we had our flight cancelled and the hotel took us in, they made provisions for us even when arriving at the hotel 12am at night, food was provided and rooms were assigned to all of us swiftly. Staff was friendly and checking to make sure we were settling in, and have an incredible experience even if it's for 12 hours. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good service but not the normal hilton style

Not good if you are used to a international 5 star hotel and much worse than a lot of the 5 star hotels in limmasol. It's a 3.5stat or 4 star on international standards. It's very tired and badly managed but some of the staff are very good. The gym and indoor pool have only one shower to share and a tiny changing room. Have had an excellent working relationship with the hotel during the time it was the Nicosia Hilton and continue to do so under the new ownership. 21 years we were the main attraction in the lobby bar area providing our fun casino night. Also providing entertainment for many of the top companies on the island.

This is a beautiful property with tremendous staff. They were always friendly, attentive, and helpful. The pool is awesome and the food is also excellent. There is also a great gym in the lower level.

I’ll make this short and to the point. Excellent location. Lovely lobby. Average-good customer service. However, the rooms are EXTREMELY OUTDATED, OLD and need to be renovated completely starting yesterday!

Really nice and stylish hotel. Amazing breakfast buffet including low fat yoghurt. Unfortunately the hotel is next to a big street and it is a little difficult to catch a Tuktuk. Also a little minus is the small pool area in comparison to the size of hotel, same with gym area.

Affordable hotel in the Turkish side. You can catch any bus with 14TL to the city center, the historic area of Nicosia. The service is great and most staffs are friendly. The breakfast could be more selections if possible. There is a exchange shop called chase exchange nearby offer better rate. Overall, will choose again next time.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. I really like this hotel.

Even though i wasn't opportuned to lodged their, the building, the reception and everything seen portrays a good hotel and the activities seen within the time spent shows that their service is A class. Its located at the heart of Nicosia in tge north cyprus, a minute walk to the famous bus terminal.

I just been roof top restorant, The hotel is very new and very clean. The staff are very uneducate! It is very clear that there is insufficient staff. For example they can easly train their staf how to serve and behuve, their staff can not speaking good enough english which is a necessity anyehere in turisim sector specially for 5 star hotel. The location is good and easy to access hotel.

The hotel is almost brand new and very good. The staff are wonderful all the way from the reception to the restaurants and to the facilities. Among those are Nurcan and Yunus Emre. For example, you're always greeted by Nurcan with a warm smile in the morning and afternoon whenever you eat, and Yunus is a great help. The Roof bar and lounge is a fun place to hang out and the pool is pleasant too. However...

Hotel is located very nicely. Facilities are clean, however the water has a horrible smell (sink/shower). The casino is terrible though, dead atmosphere and stupid rules. I don't see why anyone would like to play here when all other casinos are much better and more player friendly.

Just went to the roof top bar and casino and I absolutely enjoyed it. Great night out, they hold events at the roof top bar on the weekends and the night is Live!! The casino is very lush and service is pretty good. Totally reccomend it..

Good hotel, as a facility, service and location. Fare price for the quality. Grate location if you plan to visit North side of the island. Free wifi with good coverage, complementary drinks and fruits big and comfortable bed.

I didn't stay for a night here but I came many times for business​ meetings or seminars. I enjoy every time there.

This is an nice hotel, it is true that it is a bit outdated but if you need the bare essentials you will be ok. Plus it seems to be in a very good location in terms of getting to many places. The beds were comfortable, the tv is very tiny like smaller than most computer monitors. My only true complaint is that when you turn the AC on you can't put it on automatic or adjust the temperature, it continues...

The reception and lounge are fine, although outdated. Rooms are plain, functional and clean. Breakfast is basic but with something for everyone. One should remember to bring AC outlet adapter, since the outlets in the room are UK style. Reception team holds some adapters, but don't count on it.

Nice little cozy hotel with authentic Greek architecture. Located in beautiful and quite neighborhood, in walking distance from city center. Amazing staff. Breakfast was also good. However, I wish there were some kind of mini bar in the room or at least coffee and tea with water boiler.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel facilities - rooms, restaurant, gardens - are perfect for anyone need a peaceful and quite getaway. It’s been a long time since I sleep so well. The staff in Aelia is so lovely and accommodating. I want to point out specifically Dimitreous who had the most fun and hospitable energy, took care of our every need with such a large smile.

Really pretty small hotel about 10 minutes walk from the Ledra crossing. Charming rooms, quite small but with everything you need. Excellent breakfast which the host kindly made for us even though we needed to leave really early in the morning. Would recommend the downstairs rooms as they have doors open on to an enclosed patio.

Outstanding. All was excellent, cleanliness and service especially. The hosts and owners were warm and hospitable. Spotless, fresh towels daily and floors were cleaned daily too. Great location, close to coffee shop and bakery, easily accessible. Highly recommended- will stay there again and again.

We spent one night here and it was ok. The apartment was very spacious and quiet enough but it’s pretty tired looking. The bed was too hard for me and the aircon in the bedroom didn’t work. Definitely overpriced for what it is. The location felt safe and there are a handful of car parks out the front.

Friendly and very helpfull staff doing everything to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast very complete, also after 10 when it’s formally closed. Due to some circumstances we needed a transfer for 20 persons, friendly woman at the reception arranged it in a few minutes and after our thanks so told us it’s her job to help us. Everything ok. The place is so close to the centre. I enjoy the stay and definitely will be there again.

Good hotel, location and service but the rooms are very old. The bed matress was very uncomfortable, the mini bar fridge was empty and smells very bad, the air vents didn't worked and the tv is very small (20inch) with only 5 channels. Recommend it for short stays 1 or 2 nights but not more. You can find nearby hotels with much better rooms for nearly the same price.

Good hotel close to the city center in Nicosia. It's located in a bit of a residential side street, but still close to the main business district in Nicosia. Rooms are nice, clean and fresh. All rooms seem to be equipped with smart TV, including Netflix and Youtube. Good pressure in shower and taps.
