Akti Beach Hotel & Village Resort

Still here as I write this review. And I will be very honest. Having read some previous reviews, I was apprehensive as this was our first time in Cyprus as a family on holiday. Got to the resort and the first positive was a free upgrade to 2 superior double rooms with amazing sea views and side pool view. The entire resort is very clean and every single member of staff is very helpful and polite taking huge pride in their job. Food was very good with themed nights each day giving variety despite reading some negative reviews regarding the food. Both indoor and outdoor pools are very good with loads of sunbeds and the cove near the beach/sea was an extra gem, great for some snorkeling or swimming. Entertainment was very good most nights especially for the kids and the staff at the bar would go round all tables to take our orders and bring them. There was also loads of card and board games for everyone to keep busy with. Staff engaged guests in entertainment but were never pushy. There is also a shuttle bus to the harbour and Shopping mall for €5 return. There were some negatives but to be honest... It's not worth mentioning as it pales into oblivion when compared with the good aspects of this place. Overall, a beautiful and well maintained resort. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. 👌🏽👍🏽

Just got back from our yearly holiday. We have stayed at Akti Beach 3 years in a row. There is nothing negative really to talk about. Rooms and Hotel kept very clean. Daily towel change which is fab.
We had a top floor room over looking the main pool and the amazing sea. What a view to see from your bed.
Once again the food was brilliant, catered for everyone with theme nights.
The Entertainment from previous years had changed for the better. More current for the young/old. The Entertainment team was very friendly and always said Hello. They tried to get all people to engage with games. Daniella stood out to us more as we had lots of conversations about this and that and had a laugh too. Will be a shame if the Entertainment dont stay for summer 2025.
This year the weather was a scorcher, never known it to be that hot, it was fab but also needed to take shade too.
If you're thinking of booking here and you just want to chill and not go anywhere you will love it.
Depending on where you get your sunlounger you might get to witness some beautiful weddings.
Also free Wifi around the hotel and air conditioning in rooms
Already thinking about booking again.

Akti Beach if you are reading this could you look at putting a big clock outside near main pool so people know what time it is, I think I speak for many people 😁

Lovely family holiday. Beautiful views. Quiet and peaceful location. Food was delicious.Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. All the staff were incredibly hard working and helpful. 2 pools - one noisier games etc....personally, we preferred the second pool - calm and chilled .

Beautiful place. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The food is lovely not a massive selection but what they have got is beautiful and cooked well. We also booked into a couples massage in the hotel which was definitely worth trying so relaxing and the ladies were lovely. The rooms are big with loads of space. It's a 3* hotel and definitely worth having a visit here. I'm super impressed as we always tend to go for a 4* or a 5* so check this hotel out!

I’ve been to Cyprus many times over the years now. This being the first one as a full family of four including a tag along Grandad. This place has been absolutely fantastic for us, the rooms, the facilities, food and staff were all brilliant. It’s tucked away from the main road and it’s a short walk to a bus stop but we opted for a taxi to and from the harbour when we fancied it, it’s about €20 each way.
We’ve enjoyed it that much, we’re coming back to Akti Beach next year in October and I’m sure we’ll enjoy the same experience again!

I do recommend this for those with families, small pools available for babies and toddlers but plenty of room in the other two pools for times when you all want to get in! For couples, I’d still recommend this place as well as it’s got a good balance between a family resort and a couples retreat without being over top catering towards either scenario.

Either way, you will love it!

We had such a lovely 5 night stay at the hotel. The area is quiet and peaceful, the staff and friendly and helpful. The facilities (pools, bar, restaurants) are all excellent. It is possible to visit the sea via a walk, but it is pebbly - recommend swimming socks! Can't fault the hotel at all.

First time in cyprus and we really enjoyed it. Hotel was lovely and clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. There were Stunning veiws and Even though the hotel seemed to be quite full there was always plenty of sun loungers available and always some sort of activities going on. On that note we have to give a big shout out to the entertainment staff as they made a really good atmosphere and always had time for everyone. Would have given this a 5 no problem but our only issue was the food wasn't very hot but there was always plenty of it. Also it was a little to isolated for us

Nice hotel, hard working staff. Villa rooms dated but clean. Food OK plenty of choice. Location is a little isolated bus stop 10 min walk away up hill. If you want to go out and about hire a car so much easier. I would rate this hotel a good 3 star not the 4 star jet2 awards. Overall enjoyed my break here.

Fabulous, very well run resort. The staff are so friendly & very professional that's from cleaners/waiters/bar staff/reception restaurant & animation team. Very relaxed resort lots of beds available situated on the sea front, beautiful setting. Never felt over crowded even though the season is picking up. Lovely clean areas to sit & relax if needing Minutes inside & out. Been to Cyprus in the past but due to facilities here in the resort didn't need to venture from hotel other than for a walk along lovely coastal path. Had a great time met like minded people who have become friends. Have no hesitation in recommending Akti Beach Village Resort. Excellent really good value.
