I don't think this deserves to be a 5 star hotel. The bathrooms have see-through glass so it's its not really family-friendly. The rest of the hotel such as the buffet are quite mediocre and the pool is only only around 120cm deep like a kiddie pool. I even saw a few cockroaches here and there. The only nice thing about the hotel is the wonderful view of the Cypriot coast and the Mediterranean Sea

I took my two daughters to this hotel in Mid July. Weather was amazing. Transfer to the hotel was quick and stress free. Check in at 2am was smooth. My sons wedding venue the hotel looked amazing. You could certainly see the 5 star quality. We had a wedding on the beach and reception on the boat bar, all beautifully decorated and excellent service throughout the day. Although I didn't stay, we all had a wonderful experience .

Stayed in a family room which was quite small with our 2 kids, Hallways, showers rooms and pool side could do with some modernization. Some staff were very friendly but some were rude or unwilling to help. Location is 10/10... Restaurants opposite hotel and you are directly on the beach. We ate at the Zephyros Taverna. Yesterday we were told opening was 12:00 midday, today when we went to meet friends at 12:00 were told 12:30! The website needs updating. Fantastic hotel for adults only, service is first class, food , drink really nice . Staff go above and beyond they are marvellous ,and work very hard. A beautiful adults only hotel with all the amenities you could possibly think of. Right on the beach with a stunning pool bar area, the executive rooms were excellent and very well equipped and a small executive lounge which provided light breakfasts and snacks with a well stocked array drinks and beverages. Just got back from our holiday at this hotel and i loved it. Staff were really friendly especially the bar staff at the pool bar. The food was really good in the main buffet restaurant with lots of options to choose from. We tried the Italian restaurant one night but wasn’t too keen on the menu however the soup was lovely. Had a nice time at hotel. Only 2 negatives, may be positives for some people, not a lot of activities or activities team. When I go for breakfast usually the waiters bring tea but not in this hotel. The main disappointment was our room with view onto main road, very noisy in the evening and early morning therefore you have to keep your windows closed. No balcony and you could not enjoy fresh air sitting outside. Of course you can pay extra for see view as everywhere but balcony will be much appreciated even for land-view room. We cannot recommend Alexander the Great highly enough. The staff are all so welcoming and as returning guests many of them remembered us and our preferences. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. When we walk through the door we instantly relax an it feels like coming home. Already booked next years visit!

Rooms are clean, food is ok though not much variety. Location is good easy to get into shopping areas by bus. Most of the staff are quite happy and approachable. However the service in the Tavernaki beach bar is not the best. My wife and I were here for one night for a party. Truly a wonderful resort. Great locations and views for photographers to take images. Food was phenomenal. Staff was very attentive to us and handled the event well and professionally. We were given a room to change in which was unexpected and appreciated. The room itself was beautiful and with a lovely view.

The hotel was really nice. The rooms were lovely and clean and We found the bed/pillows really comfortable. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and huge praise must be given to Marina and Anna, who were just so helpful.

Lovely hotel. The staff were very attentive and looked after us . The rooms could do with being updated as the furniture was old. That being said they were clean and comfortable. Location on the beach was great. Plenty of sunbeds and the pool was lovely. Sunbeds do get very hot as they have vinyl mattresses. If you are a fan of mass tourism, this is the complex with the nicest pool garden. The rooms are very clean, soundproofed. Personal is great. The beach near the hotel would definitely deserve a care. The quality of the food is average, the coffee is terrible. It is focused on quantity not quality. Wellness only works intermittently. Its very small compare to hotel and it doesnt look hygienic clean

Great beach front hotel, the staff are very good, nothing too much trouble. Plenty of food choices at a premium unless you're all inclusive. There is a bus stop outside €2 per destination or €6.50 for an all day pass. The pool has the usual sunbed problems with people bagging sun beds early then not using them much.

We had a wonderful weeks hoilday staff in all areas were polite and could not do enough for you. We loved meeting Veronica, our room attendant she kept it spotless for us. Food was wonderful. All waiting staff were great, but we loved being served by Diane in the evenings. Greek & Japanese Restaurants were fabulous. Great location near the water (beach and boardwalk), clean and spacious room, pool was clean and not crowded, staff was very nice, very accommodating, breakfast was good and plentiful. In sum, everything was perfect and I would definitely stay there again.

The restaurant is always clean and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and varied every day. The staff is always polite, very nice and they always make sure that you are well-being. Really good. Comfortable, clean, well equipped rooms. A good breakfast and enough outside space to maintain social distance while working on your tan (unlike it's neighbours). I'd definitely stay there again.
