We cannot recommend Alexander the Great highly enough. The staff are all so welcoming and as returning guests many of them remembered us and our preferences. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. When we walk through the door we instantly relax an it feels like coming home. Already booked next years visit!

Fantastic service great pool area, upgraded to sea view room, very recommended as side view aren’t ready to the standard of the hotel. Great entertainment in evening, great staff across the whole hotel. Stelios , one of the managers was exceptionally helpful. Location excellent too! Definitely would return.

Room only 4 stars because small. Hotel spotless. Staff are friendly and well trained. Great location. Sunbeds ...no worry you get allocated your beds on arrival and can keep them for your stay. No towels required!

The Hotel is situated in a good position near to the harbour. It has a large grass area overlooking the sea so a great choice of where to sit outside.We stayed at Christmas 23/24 and had a great time on this visit we were recognised by some of the staff. Absolutely lovely. The suite was fantastic, perfect. The view breathe taking. Wide variety at the buffet. Friendly staff. The pools are perfectly located in the middle of the complex with waterfalls. Peaceful and perfect for a relaxing stress free holiday.

Despite of the fact that the hotel is a little bit old, it's a nice hotel with beautiful view, and good breakfast. Nice pool inside and outside. In the room we found three cockroachs, which was a little bit disguisting.

Superb. Everything other reviews say about how good this place is are not exaggerated. Staff, accommodation, cleanliness all brilliant. Wonderful stay here in October 2021. Pool and facilities are great, food great albeit a little samey after a few days. The private beach is nice but a little dirty (litter) and the sea had quite a lot of weed. Housekeeping of the room and replacement of tea, coffee etc was inconsistent. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this wonderful hotel. It was just getting back into it's stride after reopening in July. There was a lot of new staff and some training going on. We came for 11 nights as bed and breakfast, during our stay we have found the hotel clean and staff very helpful. The pools are good and there is plenty of beds. The gym is decent. Restaurants and drinks in hotel are expensive and it is slightly outdated but we would definitely come again. also the walk to the harbour can be hard in the heat

All the staff were fantastic. And the food was great quality and very good variety. We stayed for two weeks and couldn't possibly get bored of the food. Special mention to the entertainment team, each and everyone were fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just about to leave this fab hotel. Staff are welcoming and can't do enough for you. Food was brilliant and loads of it. Plenty of sunbeds and for the first week very little of the towels reserving beds at 6am....sadly that all changed when half term came. Staff are great at making sure the adults pool stays adulty so we're grateful for that too. I'd come back in a heartbeat😁

Just back from a week's holiday here. Excellent experience here. Food/drinks were great especially the newer burger restaurant. Staff very friendly and willing to help our needs. Hotel a little dated in place mainly rooms/lobby's. But were all clean. Only other issue is no balcony lights so if you like to read in the evenings bring a torch.

What's not to love about this hotel, from the ease of booking in, the amazing staff, beautiful food with great choices plenty of sun beds for all. Situated nicely for the sea and some cracking eateries if you don't want to stop in the hotel to eat. Great customer care from start ro finish.

Superb! Such a lovely place; so clean and well maintained. Food was plentiful and delicious. Service was superb - even waitress service at your sunbed. And the entertainment crew were great fun; particularly Christian and Memo. We’ll be back!

We stayed for 10 nights. The price seemed expensive at the time, however we'll worth it. Guaranteed sunbeds at the pool and private beach area all free of charge, we only got bed and breakfast however the breakfast was great. We came for 11 nights as bed and breakfast, during our stay we have found the hotel clean and staff very helpful. The pools are good and there is plenty of beds. The gym is decent. Restaurants and drinks in hotel are expensive and it is slightly outdated but we would definitely come again. also the walk to the harbour can be hard in the heat

A really nice hotel. Very quiet compared to its sister hotel next door. Adults only which is nice if you want that sort of thing. Food was plentiful and good quality. Make sure you go to the roof top bar.

On the whole, we had a wonderful holiday. Some parts of the hotel are 4 star, others are 2 star. But overall, 4 star.
