Definitely not a 5 star hotel, more like 3 star. The staff were kind and pleasant, the drinks were good and so was the food. However the hotel itself is run down and needs updating. Exposed electrics, ceiling falling down in the indoor pool, really strong sewage smells on the gym/indoor pool floor. There is a small mini supermarket in the hotel but be warned the priced are extortionate (€7.90 for one...

We have visited the hotel many times as we find the service, location and rooms very good. In our last visit (18/1/25) Rooms were very clean, food was nice and service was excellent. Music at night was also a charming addition in our overall stay.

The hotel is amazing. A lovely location. A beautiful pool area with many sunbeds. All the staff are friendly and very approachable. All the public areas are extremely well maintained . The room we were allocated was very spacious with beautiful decor. We had a lovely pool and sea view. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I don't think this deserves to be a 5 star hotel. The bathrooms have see-through glass so it's its not really family-friendly. The rest of the hotel such as the buffet are quite mediocre and the pool is only only around 120cm deep like a kiddie pool. I even saw a few cockroaches here and there. The only nice thing about the hotel is the wonderful view of the Cypriot coast and the Mediterranean Sea

Good place to stay for few days. Get the all inclusive options, because you get all drinks free. Good view from the rooms with sea view. Aquapark is free with all inclusive option. We came for 11 nights as bed and breakfast, during our stay we have found the hotel clean and staff very helpful. The pools are good and there is plenty of beds. The gym is decent. We cannot recommend Alexander the Great highly enough. The staff are all so welcoming and as returning guests many of them remembered us and our preferences. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. When we walk through the door we instantly relax an it feels like coming home. Already booked next years visit!

Initially, we booked on a bed and breakfast basis but upgraded once there to the all inclusive package at a not unreasonable €40 per person per day. Great beach front hotel, the staff are very good, nothing too much trouble. Plenty of food choices at a premium unless you're all inclusive. There is a bus stop outside €2 per destination or €6.50 for an all day pass. The pool has the usual sunbed problems with people bagging sun beds early then not using them much.

Most magical and perfect holiday I ever had. I don’t know where to start. The entire hotel and location is gorgeous with sea view and private beach. The food and drinks are next level. We rented an apartment which was fine. The staff is polite and helpful. The food was ok. Only the cook at the roast meat was a bit embarrassed because he wanted to give 1 piece of meat every night. Had an amazing weeks stay . The location was great with a reasonable walk to local transport. The beach and coastal walk are just behind the resort. Amazing holiday spent at Louis Imperial. The staff are super attentive. The place is kept super clean and the food is lovely. Just had a week at this hotel and overall it was a lovely stay. The seaview rooms were fantastic and clean with the staff so helpful and welcoming.
