Where to stay in Paphos

My sons wedding venue the hotel looked amazing. You could certainly see the 5 star quality. We had a wedding on the beach and reception on the boat bar, all beautifully decorated and excellent service throughout the day. Although I didn't stay, we all had a wonderful experience .

Our stay was exceptional! We book for 3days all inclusive. Foods are delicious, Drink all you can or should i say drink till you drop 😅. And the view from our room is spectacular! In general, the hotel is fine. The service and cleanness in the restaurant was good, the food was delicious. The Hotel is a bus ride out of Pathos but buses are frequent.. The staff are well trained and friendly. I never had to ask for a drink or help.The entertainment was good and always something to do. Hotel is located in quiet and clean area. There is a sea in 2 min by walk, but there are mostly stones high above the water, so you can spend around 10 min to the nearest beach where you can swim. We cannot recommend Alexander the Great highly enough. The staff are all so welcoming and as returning guests many of them remembered us and our preferences. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. When we walk through the door we instantly relax an it feels like coming home. Already booked next years visit!

The Hotel is situated in a good position near to the harbour. It has a large grass area overlooking the sea so a great choice of where to sit outside.We stayed at Christmas 23/24 and had a great time on this visit we were recognised by some of the staff. Despite of the fact that the hotel is a little bit old, it's a nice hotel with beautiful view, and good breakfast. Nice pool inside and outside. In the room we found three cockroachs, which was a little bit disguisting.

This hotel has seen better days, but you can't beat that price and everything functions. Rooms have a functional kitchen and a noisy fridge (ours did). Once outside, there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

The apartment was spacious and had everything you need, but there was no hot water in the shower. It was also quite cold in the apartment in the evening and we didn’t have an air conditioning control. The pool was great!

Very helpful and friendly staff here. Restaurant on site also looked after us very well and catered for our needs, being vegetarian we thought it would be difficult for them but we went half board and were not disappointed. Beautiful hotel in a great location, it is in the middle of the center and close to all key points such as bus stops. Owner of the hotel is very friendly and welcoming, facilitated an extra night very last minute without problems and let me leave my luggage in the hotel during a day trip after check out. Overall great experience, highly recommend anyone in Paphos to stay at this place.

The location is good because the street is busy and has many shops and restaurants. The parking situation is not good though. The hotel grounds and rooms are outdated but mostly clean. The wifi is our room was basically non existent and there was no control over the air conditioning (just an on/off switch)

This place saved our holiday! We wanted to stay in other apartment, but it was very dirty, so we needed a place to stay in the middle of the night, and it was exactly there. Stayed in a family room which was quite small with our 2 kids, Hallways, showers rooms and pool side could do with some modernization. Wonderful stay here in October 2021. Pool and facilities are great, food great albeit a little samey after a few days. The private beach is nice but a little dirty (litter) and the sea had quite a lot of weed. Housekeeping of the room and replacement of tea, coffee etc was inconsistent. Staff were all very friendly, and the Tui rep Saul was great entertainment. Definitely would go again

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this wonderful hotel. It was just getting back into it's stride after reopening in July. There was a lot of new staff and some training going on. But did not impact on our experience and their high standards and customer care was excellent. Still a wonderfull place to stay. Will be going back

We stayed for 10 nights. The price seemed expensive at the time, however we'll worth it. Guaranteed sunbeds at the pool and private beach area all free of charge, we only got bed and breakfast however the breakfast was great. We came for 11 nights as bed and breakfast, during our stay we have found the hotel clean and staff very helpful. The pools are good and there is plenty of beds. The gym is decent. Restaurants and drinks in hotel are expensive and it is slightly outdated but we would definitely come again. also the walk to the harbour can be hard in the heat

A really nice hotel. Very quiet compared to its sister hotel next door. Adults only which is nice if you want that sort of thing. Food was plentiful and good quality. Make sure you go to the roof top bar.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were excellent the grounds were well kept and the food was great. The location was perfect for coral bay and the harbour the bus runs right outside the hotel every 10-15 mins each way. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future
