A stunning view! Peaceful area! Nice and comfortable room! Beds excellent!

Parking to access was unclear. Hotel guest may have some luggage, therefore easier access is required.
Room is quite good and view to see colognes city (it is far from hotel) is good

Breakfast was superb. Venue was beautiful.
No coffee or tea making facilities. A promise of this and signs in hotel saying it was available in communal areas but nothing provided during the 3 days we stayed. Staff member refused to give us tokens for machine in reception and insisted we pay. For the cost of our stay we found this very poor.
Also booked a double room but it was 2 twin beds pushed together with single quilts.

Very nice hotel. Close to the motorway, beautifull architecture, clean rooms, beds could be a bit more comfortable.
Breakfast is above average and really worth the price. Eggs are freshly prepared and you have a big variety to chose from.
Would stay here again if I come close to this area.

Unique location. For diner you have to travel a bit. Breakfast is extremely eloborate. Super. Room is nice and clean.

The property was admittedly further out from Cologne than we initially thought but the hotel itself was fantastic with a rail service and bus service bringing you straight to the front entrance. The rooms were perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast we had was exceptional. If I was ever back in this area I would certainly stay here again!

Very pleasant stay
Only stayed the one night due to travel plans. This was a real gem, obviously refurbished and modernised to the highest standard.
The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were all lovely and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower great.
The breakfast was great, a really good selection of all sorts to choose from.
Nothing negative to say about this place, ( except for all the rain ) we would certainly return.

We've spent a night at the Kardinal Schulte Haus in order to visit the close by Spa Mediterana.
+ perfect location for our purpose
+ good value for the money
+ impressive breakfast for a 3* hotel
+ beautiful, clean rooms with great views over Cologne in the distance (you can see the Kölner Dom)
+ the building is interesting and modern
+ parking on premises
~ no smoking
~ if you have outside business, you need a car
- the front desk person while checking in was very rude, not talking or explaining anything. The rest of the service staff was great, especially the breakfast area staff.

A most peaceful and relaxing environment. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Friendly staff. Great and pleasant experience.
