URBAN LOFT Cologne

The location of the hotel is very good(close to the railway station and cathedral area). I can say that rooms are not big but they are okay. If you want to make breakfast at the hotel,it is better to make it outside with the cheaper price in compare to the hotel's price, The breakfast price was expensive.

Friendly and helpful people, and there is baggage storage possible. The room was small but all you needed, there was an airco, hairdryer and tv available, personally the bed was a little hard.
The location was easy to find, and close to the station and the Dom.

Very nice hotel in the center of Cologne. The room is small but very clean and furnished with modern furniture. The staff is very polite and friendly. I can only recommend it

I have never encountered such a young concept that was implemented so professionally. The house is in the very center of the city, very modern and "fashionable". The young staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. We liked it.

Very nice hotel, really nice and friendly staff, good location 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and the city. The food was really delicious, one of the best I have ever had. The rooms are also perfectly clean. The welcome and farewell were also very good. Can only recommend! We will definitely be back :-)

We arrived at 10am super early hoping we could leave our bags and go explore, but they had our room ready which was an amazing start! The customer service was incredible, the room was so comfortable and a lovely view of the cathedral and train station. The noise is not an issue with the two windows closed but we loved the noise and kept them open.

The free water was a brilliant thing to have and the free coffee until 11:30am is reaalllly good.

Faultless hotel, with a gorgeous rooftop and great location.

Rooms: The room we stayed in was excellent. It was clean and the bathroom was a good size. We had a nice view of the cathedral spires and the main station. The bed is king size and comfy. The floor space is a bit light on so it’s difficult to fit suitcases around the place but this wasn’t too difficult to manage. There is no fridge in the room, nor a kettle, but there is a great space on the ground floor which serves free coffee between 11:30pm and 11:30am.

Service: We didn’t really have much interaction with staff, but they were friendly when we checked in. The hotel does not clean your room unless you request it, which I support. I think it is an environmentally friendly approach. There was a hidden city charge that they only warned us about on check out but it was only €14.

Location: Location is good. It is close to the central station and Breslauer Platz which makes it easy to get around the city. It is also close to the cathedral.

Fantastic hotel. Comfortable and clean. I highly recommend staying there.
The lobby area is great for hanging out with a laptop or a book, and it has free coffee from 11:30pm to 11:30am.
The location is fine but not great. It is very close to Cologne train station and it’s a safe enough street, but it’s not exactly a ‘happening’ area. You have to walk a bit to get to the city centre. In saying that, it’s not that far and you can easily take trains if you want to.
Our room looked out over the many train tracks to the main station but there was no noise, thanks to two very effective double glazed windows.
There is a small gym, which I enjoyed using. I had it all to myself too which was nice!
I only have two criticisms of this hotel. Our room had no space for a suitcase, which is VERY necessary in a hotel. Secondly, I think the breakfast is expensive for what it is. All I wanted to eat was muesli and yoghurt but I wasn’t willing to spend €17 on that.
Nevertheless, we had a really good experience overall and I recommend staying here if you visit Cologne.

Amazing (and affordable!) hotel close to the train station! Lovely, clean rooms with cozy lighting and great windows. We loved the view from our room. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and we could walk to all the sights we wanted to see. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Köln!
