URBAN LOFT Cologne Hotel

I had a truly excellent and memorable stay at this hotel in Cologne. Everything from start to finish was perfect. The atmosphere was welcoming, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was outstanding.

A very special thank you to the amazing staff who made my experience even more enjoyable — Božo, Heinrich, Veronica, and the rest of the team. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out and made me feel at home.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cologne and will definitely be returning in the future.

Already planning my stay here again for next year.

The hotel room was really clean, albeit small. The bathroom.didn't have many surfaces to put toiletries on.
Also, we had requested the beds to be separate, apparently that doesn't exist in this hotel. This is not the fault of the hotel, but of the company that booked it. So if you aren't willing to share a bed, this isn't for you.
Breakfast had a big variety and the times are until 10.30 am, no that you don't have to wake up atthe crack of dawn to get something.
The hotel has a very green, no waste set up which was great (the wood room cards instead of plastic was a very nice touch as well).
The staff was very friendly and it is well situated 7 mins walking from Köln Hbf.

I, however, don't find it worth 135 euros/night worth.

Perfect location for all main attractions. and close to station. restaurants, supermarket and laundry. Friendly helpful service. Very pleasant stay.

The rooms are excellent, well kept and comfortable, and the showers are clean and large! The pressure in the shower is good and the temperature was hot. The bed was comfortable and had separate blankets for me and my partner, as I’m learning is the German way!

It’s only a 9 minute walk to the cathedral and the city centre, which is really convenient and only 4 minutes to the Eigelsteintorburg, which is very handy for the walking tour.

There is underground parking which is a rarity and it’s very secure. The hotel lobby is nice and operates 24 hours, with snacks etc.

Fantastic staff (particularly the fella with the cap!). Great vibe inside the central areas, rooms and outside seating. Very clean, tidy and trendy. Room was a good size with a really comfy bed. Despite overlooking the train track there was no sound at all which was excellent. And throughout the hotel it was quiet and chilled.

Bit of a strange set up with teas and coffee; it’s only available between 11:30pm-11am with none in the room (I’m clearly showing what country I’m from 😂) but the staff were very accommodating in sorting me out, outside the free tea/coffee time when I asked. Didn’t have breakfast as I prefer to explore but what I saw in the morning looked fresh and delicious. Cold filtered water always on tap.

The street it is on is a little dirty but I saw quickly this is quite common throughout Cologne, a little rough around the edges with a big mixture of people. It is only a few minutes walk to the Cathedral.

I will 100% stay here again.

Great stay! The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the train station. The rooftop area is a lovely bonus, perfect for relaxing. We appreciated the free coffees in the morning, and the room was spotless and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

I had a great stay at this hotel! It’s just a short walk from the train station, which made everything super convenient. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I loved that they offered free coffee and water in the lobby, such a nice touch. The room had double windows, so even though it’s close to the station, it was completely quiet once the windows were shut. Room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and they safely stored our luggage after checkout. Highly recommend! Danke.

The location is excellent, a 10 minute walk from the majestic Cologne Cathedral, situated in the heart of the city. The staff greet you with a warm welcome and remain this way throughout your stay. The rooms are lovely and clean and are fabulous value for money. I simply cannot fault Urban Loft and will definitely be using this hotel again.

Went just to take a mini holiday for the weekend. The rooms with a view of the cathedral and the train station are louder because they face the streets. I should not have paid extra for the view option. The rooms are small but clean and modern. Superior location with cafes and breweries all around.

This hotel does everything right. It's an inviting and environmentally friendly place to stay. The hotel pays attention to small details and made my stay very pleasant and comfortable. It is convenient, located very close to Cologne's Train Station. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The artwork, signage, furniture and music combine well to create an excellent atmosphere full of great vibes!
