Great Hotel with a magnificent Spa area which unfortunately opens late and closes at 9pm so that you can't use it after a long workday.
The rooms are great but the technology for lights etc requires some getting used to.
Even the most basic category of rooms can be considered luxurious (see Photos).

Unfortunately not a pleasant stay…. My room way too dark, not enough lights anywhere… over all the room has seen better days…. Room was way too warm during the night …. Could not cool the room down to an agreeable sleeping temperature…. Shower with dark spots along the floor…. Looked like premolding…. But the worst part was no hot water for the shower in the morning…. No sorry from anybody….. so cannot recommend the hotel for the rates they are charging….

Nice rooms which are perfect for a few nights, everything is clean, spatious, and has a (somewhat outdated and artificial) sense of luxury to it. The open breakfast selection is nice for a few mornings, but the layout and space usage is not ideal, people tend to bump into each other.

I've been in much better hotels/rooms for half the price. Glad that we're only staying one night.
Reading other reviews, lack of cleanliness and airco issues are apparently a recurring theme. I think you can have a great stay here if you're lucky with the room though..

We stayed there off season for a couple of nights, it was quiet and we used terrace swimming pool, which was heated. It was an unforgettable experience in hot pool, but very cold outside watching river. The architecture and colours of the hotel are quite vivid.

This is a large hotel which is woefully understaffed, and those working could care less about their many guests. Calls to reception go unanswered, and the same treatment with sales staff emails.
The building is also not equipped to deal with European summers. Half the windows are broken so won't open, and there is little or no air conditioning.
The location is also not super desirable. It's on the Rhine riverfront, but located on a corporate office park, with not much within walking distance.

Very nice upscale hotel, tailored for events as their main line of business. The room was quite nice but we missed some more space to open and store the luggage. The WC and shower door solution is nice but weird that both can't be closed at the same time. The A/C system is on the floor and a lot of dust was visible through the grill, not sure it's the best solution. The spa was fully packed, we went there twice and there were people doing a line outside the saunas... We ended up trying the outside pool, which is nice but it was too cold outside to hang around the pool. The restaurants are great, we tried Ludwig and the one outside, both very nice. We booked a night here for the wellness area. Unfortunately the sauna we were looking forward to was not functional. Additionally, the wellness area was full of people who were either sick or very drunk and loud. It was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience. The room and breakfast were lovely. Staff were friendly and courteous.

It’s a lovely hotel, very beautiful, nice staff, great restaurant, im taking 2 stars off though for 2 problems.
1. The beds and pillows are horror, the bed is as hard as a stone so much that I was thinking to move to the floor in the middle of the night, the pillows squeeze to nothingness and the blanket was dusty and made me itch. It was so bad that we left on the 2nd night so we can sleep at home. I understand it’s subjective, that was my experience.
2. We were there on the weekend and the only way to get drinking water was through room service, i ended up paying 45 euros for water bottles.
