Extraordinary buildings renovated in a lovely way to fulfill the five star feeling of the hotel (this really old stone and brick castle). Fireplaces with live fires going in the evenings are cosy. But be prepared for the smell if you are sensitive. The fine dining experience is a thing I truly appreciate and recommend!

A not so classy Castle. Sort out your breakfast. A beautiful castle just off the road to Hamburg. Service wise, almost great. Only real let down was the exceedingly expensive breakfast that was really not worth the €30 that for 3 people almost felt like extortion. Castle converted into a hotel with an outside restaurant ( used also for weddings). The location has parking and it is usually not crowded. As a customer you get also free access in the back, into the castle garden. I was just visiting, so I can't write about the hotel part anything.
