Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get anyone to check the safe from Saturday to Tuesday. The balcony door isn't working properly and is almost falling out. It's a common occurrence in the hotel, and you just have to push against it, and it will close again.

First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. A really nice and elegant hotel in Lauterbad. It offers you everything you need there and everything is really clean and pretty. The wellness service is incredible, relax rooms, saunas, inside and outside pool, massage services, everything you want for a perfect holiday away from the city. Lovely little hotel in Freudenstadt. Could have received a bit of a warmer welcome when we arrived a little too early, but to be honest the lady did redeem herself later on. Room was very nice with views over the grounds. Lovely big shower room, one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Breakfast was ok, not a lot of pastry choices but was acceptable.

Very nice hotel. Great location, crew are very kind, rooms are clean and cozy. Lots of parking and nice breakfast. The only bad thing is the limited hours of check in and out .

Extremely helpful staff. The room was large , clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of free parking. We had a wonderful stay at Waldhotel Luise! The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and very nicely designed - a mix of cozy/rustic and modern feel. Beautiful views, excellent food and lovely facilities. Unfortunately the town was rather run down.Waiting service at dinner was really friendly but very slow. Waited a long time in between courses. Large spacious room, spectacular views but let down by everything being covered in dust. On the whole didn’t we got value for money.

June 2024 stay. This hotel was OK at best. The front desk is not staffed from 11 pm to 7 am, so you cannot check in or out during that time. Much of the staff seemed to look at customers as a bother. Breakfast was poorly supplied. i.e. eggs ran out quickly and were not replenished any time soon thereafter. Rooms were reasonably comfortable.

A Gem in the Black Forest Very nice hotel in the Black Forest. We had a balcony, which was nice since it was raining. We could still sit outside. Excellent breakfast. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, but the weather wasn't swimming weather when we were there so we couldn't try it.

Hotel is located 1500 meters from the center and therefore a long walk there and back. Hotel has some overdue maintenance on the outside. Rooms are sufficiently large and have reasonable sanitary facilities. Unfortunately the beds are not that good anymore and so we had 3 bad nights. There is a super large garden around the hotel, which provides peace and quiet. Breakfast is fine with sufficient choice...

Likely one of the best hidden gems in Germany. Exceptional staff and location resulted in a restful and rejuvenating stay. The meals were delicious and prepared with local fresh ingredients. The access to the Black Forest is literally steps away; be it hiking or biking. Few suggestions, 1) book a room on the lake side as the road is a bit loud at night and 2) bring a pillow as the ones provided...

Staff very friendly. The room Size was found in order, only the bed I as too small. The balcony was three rooms are accessible without separation. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, it was awakened by reconstruction measures, at 7.30 am.

All in all, Good. Very nice and courteous staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean. When you eat, there is something for every taste, freshly prepared and super tasty.

As a Biker on the black forest Panorama cycle path we were greeted friendly, the rooms are quite good and offer the usual harassment. It was nice that the bikes were housed in a closed Garage! The Breakfast was in order, only the scrambled eggs we have missed! It would lead to an opportunity, I would go again!

The reviews and the website promised a little too much. But okay for the price. The facility no longer meets the current standards. The staff all made up for this with their friendliness.

Nestled away from all traffic and surrounded by forest, adorned with a beautiful wooded park that can be enjoyed as well as the 1500m2 of SPA and swimming pool area. A family welcome in all the nobility of the term and a cuisine that is well worth French tables. Amply justified value for money. A great discovery that I recommend.

Excellent Hotel with super rooms, very nice and pleasant Spa area, really friendly staff and children are welcome and can belong after 2 days, almost to the family. Also a great location to the ski lift Kniebis ( about 150m). And the food was really a dream. Since we would like to go again.

This is one of my favourite hotels in the Black Forest, have stayed here several times now while I’m touring Europe. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable both the double rooms and the bijou single rooms. I am planning on returning next year for my 6th time of staying here.

Had a wonderful visit to Hotel Lamm. Everything in the hotel is really well executed, amazing room with lots of space and light, really nice spa facilities and pool, great food at breakfast and again at dinner. Really creative, comforting food and a diverse selection each night. Warm and friendly service throughout the hotel, I could not recommend more. Can't wait to visit again.

Would definitely go back. This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. We loved our visit at Hotel Lamm! There are so many positive points: amazing breakfast, lovely and helpful staff, a cozy spa area (the rest room is amazing), a beautiful view outside your window, and a very convenient location. We loved how we didn’t need a car to access this lovely hotel and the even more lovely outdoors. If you’re staying in the area, Hotel Lamm is a guaranteed good stay.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, with easy access to hiking, nature, and with the spa ammenities it was wonderful. This was our first vacation in a while with our dog. The staff and services were very kind to us and it was a very dog friendly place. There is a service charge, and your dog must be well behaved, but that is quite normal. The massage service was wonderful and we hope to visit here...

A great place to stay and to explore the Northern Black Forest. Rooms are large and confortable and the restaurant is superb, really above average. Dishes are well presented an innovative. The hotel is very quiet at night and has no rooms facing the street (almost no traffic at night). You can have lunch until 4p.m. Dogs are allowed (!?)

Hotel Teuchelwald is a wonderful place to stay. It is built on a Hill with greeny Parks and flowers. It has a hot swimming pool. An excellent Kirchen and bar with the best rooms. Perfect place to stay in Freudenstadt.

After a long hike we ended up here in the refuge, we had to wait long on the Service but after an apology, we got our drink fairly quickly. The house has a great atmosphere.

Can't beat the location. Room wasn't cleaned when we walked in our room. After one hour it was ok. Breakfast ok, Coffee quality left for much improvement.

We had room #7 with the huge balcony displayed in the picture. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet during the night. The breakfast was decent, including scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, a variety of cold cuts, three types of bread, plain yogurt and strawberry yogurt, some cereal, orange juice, grape juice, a variety of tee, coffee, and probably a few more things that I forgot...
