Staff very friendly. The room Size was found in order, only the bed I as too small. The balcony was three rooms are accessible without separation. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, it was awakened by reconstruction measures, at 7.30 am.

We spent 3 wonderful days, the hotel, the restaurant, the spa, the staff, the owners are all at your service. C' was 3 days in paradise. We can only advise this place and enjoy the well being which you invaded. We we will return.

Was driving through the Black Forest when I saw this lodge on the side of the road, just what I was looking for. It turned out to be the best decision I made the whole trip. Great atmosphere, even better food. A 5-star resort tucked away in the hills, a true diamond in the rough.

Tranquility in the midst of the forest and next to a sizable natural pond with swans. Perfect for nature lover and a relaxing stay or to explore the surroundings. Restaurant is great, very nice service and very good food. I had a pleasant stay with my family and ended up extending our stay.

Best place for dinner in southwest Germany. The regional food is exceptionally good and tasty. I haven't been to a better place for this kind of typical regional and unpretentious food. I don't know about the Hotel but the views on the little lake and the setting seems quite idyllic and typical for the National Park of the Black Forest.

The food was the absolute Hammer! Mega, super, yummy! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room, totally comfortable. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you, for this great weekend.

A really nice and elegant hotel in Lauterbad. It offers you everything you need there and everything is really clean and pretty. The wellness service is incredible, relax rooms, saunas, inside and outside pool, massage services, everything you want for a perfect holiday away from the city. It can be found surrounded by the forest and the views are stunning. I recommend this place with all of my heart

Great hotel. The setting is lovely, right in the black forest. The staff is friendly and the speak English. Breakfast is outstanding even among othe German hotels I have stayed in. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is that the WiFi is poor at best. It didnt work in my room at all and even In the lobby I could not maintain connection.

Although located outside of the town, it is a pretty walkable distance to the town centre (Less than 20 mins depending on how fast you walk) but do note that it's not flat. Hotel Teuchelwald is a wonderful place to stay. It is built on a Hill with greeny Parks and flowers. It has a hot swimming pool. An excellent Kirchen and bar with the best rooms. Perfect place to stay in Freudenstadt.

Nice Hotel on the outskirts of Freudenstadt with a reasonable price-performance ratio; cooperating with the health clinic High Freudenstadt. The Wellness area (swimming Pool, Sauna, steam room) and Fitness facilities can be used free of charge. Rich Breakfast buffet, an attractive menu, remarkable Service, and individual effort to the guest. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Great staff and superb breakfast spread. But this is a 'Grand Old Lady' living on her past achievements and showing many signs of her age. No air-con in the rooms (not even the restaurant) and a Wi-Fi signal that is so poor that it can only be used if you are in the hotel foyer!! One week was enough thank you ?

The palm forest is situated on the outskirts of joy city is on foot quickly in the city center. The historical 4*Hotel in the art Nouveau style is very well maintained, the staff very friendly and helpful. This is a nice, quiet, and fairly secluded hotel in the Black Forest adjacent to a ski slope and walking distance from downtown Freudenstadt. An excellent place ! Situated about 2.5 kilometre from Freudenstadt city centre, the hotel is calm, quiet and serene. The view from the hotel is extremely beautiful and the rooms are very big. The food is also great and the Staffs are courteous. I spent 3 days here and enjoyed my stay.

We celebrated our winter wedding at the mountain hut and at the bottom of the Hotel stayed in. It was perfect in every way! Super Service,lovely food,clean rooms,perfect organization, etc... we Can only recommend! Through the planning phase for the Celebration, we were able to contact us at any time to Mr. Schillinger, who was able to give a lot of tips and suggestions!! Who wants to get married here...

Room the best category were fully in order to Stay. Who wants to not only Sleep in the room, should book more expensive. All the staff was very neat, very nice, there is nothing to complain about.

A great place to stay and to explore the Northern Black Forest. Rooms are large and confortable and the restaurant is superb, really above average. Dishes are well presented an innovative. The hotel is very quiet at night and has no rooms facing the street (almost no traffic at night). You can have lunch until 4p.m. Dogs are allowed (!?)

We did not stay at the hotel but it is a very nice one. We dined at the restaurant. Food and service were excellent. It was very elegant. I would return there again.

We stayed for 10 days in a category E room, very beautiful room and nice view from the big balcony. The breakfast is good, we only had once dinner as we where a bit disappointed. The sauna and swimming pool are great.

In a calm and quiet location, ideally to relax from the city noise with very good complimentary breakfast. The rooms are big and modest, with courteous service.

We had room #7 with the huge balcony displayed in the picture. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet during the night. The room was fine but the grounds were quite rundown. We had a "garden view" room but it definitely wasn't a view of a garden - over grown, weeds growing up through the patio. We have been traveling in Europe for a month - 9 different hotels and the breakfast buffet here was the weakest: less selection, frequently had to wait for clean dishes. In my opinion, management needs to spend a little money...

In spite of the rain, we had wonderful days in this Hotel ! Thanks to the very good beds and excellent food !! we recovered super. We especially liked the Pool and sauna area. The hotel is great. A short walk takes you into the forests. The recent refurbish is tip top. The dining area is very nice. Breakfast hit the mark, every morning. Significant money has been spent recently on this place. The dining area is absolutely gorgeous with no expense spared and the breakfast was lovely. The rooms have been tastefully updated to high quality standards and it's a very peaceful setting at night. It's only a 3 or 4 minute drive into the center of town

Nice place for a few nights. Varied continental breakfast. I personally found the bed too hard and the room was facing the main street so it was noisy. Room was very clean and smelt good. The shower screen door was broken but a very clean bathroom. Nice staff. Good central location

Stayed here during a bike trip in the Black Forest. It was a great experience, and a fantastic value. Right in the middle of Freudenstadt - what more could you ask for?

Can't beat the location. Room wasn't cleaned when we walked in our room. After one hour it was ok. Breakfast ok, Coffee quality left for much improvement.

After a long hike we ended up here in the refuge, we had to wait long on the Service but after an apology, we got our drink fairly quickly. The house has a great atmosphere.

Lovely traditional German hotel in the suburbs of Freudenstadt. It had a bath with shower over, which was slippery and rather outdated nowadays. Good underground parking. Large, spacious bedroom - very quiet and comfortable. Excellent fresh breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, plus a nice free indoor swimming pool. It was a wonderful and very relaxing stay with very very friendly staff. The bathrooms are somewhat outdated, but clean and well maintained. We will definitely make again there on vacation.
