The location of this hotel is fantastic with a stunning view of the valley and Lechbruck. The restaurant is typicalyl Bavarian and the valentine menu we enjoyed very much. Perhaps a little pricey.

This restaurant is interesting, a lot of different choices of food or drinks. The quality of all the products is perfect, and tasty. The view is just amazing, and the landscapes are perfects. I really enjoyed to have a lunch there with friends, and will probably will come back. There's a parking for the cars.

Its located in an amazing place that is also quiet. The staff was nice and polite, the food is really delicious. One disagvantage i can mention is the softness of the bed, it was too soft.

It was a great hotel to spend quality time with friends and family. Close to tourists attractions with a wonderful view of Alps. Nice breakfast. Staffs are very nice and you feel like you’re visiting your nice aunt who lives in Fussen. Clean and cosy like a home. Right near the Austrian border, and the feet of Germany’s highest mountain (just under 3 km) the “Zugspitse”, this chalet is a magnificent place to stay. The location is amazing. Quiet, near the lake and not far away from Schwangau. Near you can find a pony farm and buy local food from farmers. The room is clean, service 5+, breakfast is really good. A little bonus, there is a small kitchen, so if you need to cook something it's really easy.

Large clean room with large bathroom. Nice staff. Nice location. Only negative was no extra blanket in the room. We like to sleep with the room cool, so the 2 twin size blankets (1 for each of us) left us a bit cool.

The hotel is located right next to the Forggensee. Some rooms offer a view over the lake, but some don't. The rooms themselves were very tidy and spacious, though a bit old-fashioned. There is a restaurant that serves local dishes and drinks. The outdoor seating is quite limited for a hotel this big. The breakfast buffet was located indoors, but I found it pretty basic and unsophisticated.

We had a very nice and modern room with a balcony (but unfortunately quite noisy neighbors), and the wellness area was very relaxing. The food was excellent, but unfortunately the staff in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed with the shift work, and we found the dinners there to be rather uncomfortable feedings.

We stayed here for one night and it was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, an indoor and outdoor pool, foot baths, sauna and a range of spa treatments. The dinner was amazing, 5 courses! Breakfast was a big buffet with loads of choice. We had a room on the third floor with amazing views across the lake and mountains.

We arrived late in the afternoon and the staff recognize me as soon as I talk to her. They have private parking place and offer free parking. The room is clean and comfort to stay. Very nice breakfast and the staff is super nice and warm. We also tried their sauna and have good rest after a long day in Neuschwanstein. The only thing you need to note is that there's about 20 mins walk without a car...

We got a room in the ground floor. The room is very nice and clean. Ground floor has no Lake view. They have a sauna in the basement that guest operate themselves. Small but totally does the job. The concept is self check in which works well. There is parking and also a charging station.

We did a lot of research and decided on this hotel due to the price, location, and benefits. The pictures also looked very nice. Unfortunately we had to cancel last-minute due to car troubles. Servers on the phone were extremely kind and the manager was also very responsive and accommodating. Hope to stay here for real in the future soon.

Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. Location is gorgeous and parking easy and cheap on street. Need to walk 2 sets of slippery stairs (could be a problem for some). Very good appartment rooms, stunning views and all. But found the cleaner lady a bit rude, she was saying something in German to me and my friends which sounded pretty aggressive. We just ignored her and checked out of the property. Other than this, I would recommend just for the view and the restaurant that is available just downstairs.

Beautiful large clean rooms with lake view. They have two restaurants Italian and German. Lovely breakfast spread. You need to reserve your parking slot with them prior to check in. We really enjoyed. We were there with two kids and it was a great experience for everyone. You can easily walk to the lake and the natural swimming pool at the guest house is just amazing. Restaurants can also be easily reached on foot.

Super location on the lake, with stunning Mountain View near train stations, bus stop in front of the door, great restaurant and breakfast buffet. Had a fabulous spacious studio. Can highly recommend hotel Geiger, and it’s dog friendly as well.

All Ok, but note if you choose for the room downstairs you have a good place to site outsite but you do not have a few over the lake! Rooms are large and breakfast is good. Parking is limited but in front of the hotel parking is free between 6pm and 9am.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. The view is amazing. I fully recommend this hotel. There are castles few minutes away that are must to visit and learn more about the history and the culture. The view on the Alps is surreal.

Beautiful location for relaxation or fitness. The choice is yours. The staff make you feel valued and special. The resort is outstanding for accommodation restaurant, sauna, swimming and exercise programs. I have visited 4 times and have enjoyed it so much every time.

I felt very comfortable and well looked after: good therapists, nice room, delicious, varied food, nice staff, great landscape! Although the daily routine was fairly well-paced with treatments and meals, the rehab felt like three weeks of vacation.

This wellness spa is an absolute must and I'll definitely visit again (and again)! The service I received from check-in throughout my stay was impeccable. Everyone was courteous and friendly, in both German and English. I signed up for two separate spa treatments and both were great!

We had an incredible stay here - everything was fantastic from the spa to the room to the food. The glass of sparkling wine on check in during the property tour was a nice touch and the amenities are five star. I specifically chose this place for my stay during an weekend as it was closer to St Coloman, where I planned for a morning Photography session. The whole check in was contactless and we'll coordinated through messages. The Hotel also has a dining room at ground floor, which I didn't use. I am very glad that I chose this hotel for my visit to Neuschwanstein Castle. We stayed in the best room of this hotel with a balcony and a view of the castle right from the bed. This makes the trip even more romantic and truly special. The hotel staff is also very friendly.

Incredible little hotel with friendly staff, a great location, and perfect views of Neuschwanstein castle. I stayed with my partner for a few nights and we were initially worried about not having a car, but the bus from Füssen bahnhof drops off right next to the hotel. The room was adorable with an amazing balcony. Everything was very clean as well. The only point for improvement would be breakfast...

Nice clean beds could be more comfortable and the pillow are small. Not a good sleep for me. But a nice place good breakfast and nice staff

A perfect place for family vacation. Clean and high quality rooms, very friendly staff. We loved the food, the chef is the expert of meats. Hotel is located in a lovely little village with a surprisingly big spa and a nice park for afternoon walks.

After dealing with multiple travel issues and delays, we were in need of win. Hotel Hilmer was a bright light at the end of a roughy day. They stayed up late to ensure we were able to check into our room and offered to make us dinner in the late hours, although we opted for just a beer. Great hotel, great location and great service from the staff - small apartment on site was plenty of space to accommodate our family. Within walking distance of many restaurants and a short drive to the castles. We will be back.

Stayed here two nights with my family, had dinner once and breakfast twice. Clean and well maintained hotel. Very comfortable. Beautiful rooms, good beds and comfortable shower. The restaurant is very traditional. The dinner was great, I had the Oxes Steak which was fantastic and the others the Wiener Schnitzel. Which they greatly enjoyed. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok but...

Very enjoyable stay at the Zur Post. Rooms were simple but clean, sights from the hotel were lovely. Breakfast was generous and filling and everyone that worked there was very nice. Only two slight issues which is that there is no lift and so many stairs and that hair dryer is nightmare to use with no power at all. Stayed here twice, and will again. Great location, lovely rooms, good food. Both times with nice balcony views of the castles across the way. Well situated at the south end of the Romantische Strasse just when the Alps are looming. Pretty impressive with the castles and the mountains in view.

My Go To hotel when in the area. Great host and excellent location. Short walk away from all Schwangau attractions; castle, sky, hike. Highly recommended.

Zur Post offers a nice accommodation. Our room was clean, spacious and had a great bathroom. Also the staff was helpful and friendly. The reason for one star less is the breakfast. It couldn't keep up with the overall good standard.

Had a great stay here. Staff are amazing, breakfast was all good with lots of coffee. Our rooms were a good size and clean as. Great shower... We had awesome views to the castle. Would rate it higher if not for the bed. Rock hard.....och.

Just there in April 2018 ( in the off season) Great place. Yes there are cows next door No smells in the rooms. Some rooms have view of the crazy kings castle. Food was good. Staff excellent Would definitely stay again
