Great old place.. the view over the Bodense Lake is magnificent.. the rooms, though, could use a little upgrade if they wanna be a 5 star ..Gorgeous are around the hotel.

Pretty, old hotel with character located next to the Bodensee. While the rooms are okay, they are out of date. The restaurant is mediocre. And unfortunately, the weirdest part of the hotel is that the sauna is only open between 14.00 and 19.00. While it can be accessed by special request before 14.00 it cannot be used after 19.00. Which makes no sense if you’re staying here for business which many...

A great place to relax. Great selection of wellness treatments. My husband and I liked that we could get to the wellness center by a special elevator. Guests are provided with robes and slippers.

Lovely place to stay. Great choice of wellness treatments. My husband and I enjoyed that we could access the wellness area using an assigned lift. Hotel Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

Had a great stay at Hotel Torkel, family run with lovely owners and very friendly staff, we really enjoyed our stay, the food was very good quality and well prepared. The rooms were very quiet and in excellent condition. The massage really got under your skin - great! The wine list and the staff recommendations were to our liking. We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The servers in the Cafe, Restaurant and Breakfast Room were prompt and efficient, the food was excellent and the Breakfast Buffet large and generous!...

This hotel couldn’t be in a better spot right in front of the harbour but it needs updating. Our room smelt musty and no amount of ventilation seemed to change this. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful though the women on the front desk can be rather icy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool but there could be more seating and also more shade as it got very crowded

This is one of the best hotels in Lindau. Their restaurant offers a mesmerising view of the lake constance. The food is tasty as well. The staff is very friendly. Easily reachable. Mountain view. Major shops nearby. Highly recommended.

The hotel is on an island in Lake Constance, connected to the city by a dam. The price is too expensive.
