Great old place.. the view over the Bodense Lake is magnificent.. the rooms, though, could use a little upgrade if they wanna be a 5 star ..Gorgeous are around the hotel.

Pretty, old hotel with character located next to the Bodensee. While the rooms are okay, they are out of date. The restaurant is mediocre. And unfortunately, the weirdest part of the hotel is that the sauna is only open between 14.00 and 19.00. While it can be accessed by special request before 14.00 it cannot be used after 19.00. Which makes no sense if you’re staying here for business which many...

A great place to relax. Great selection of wellness treatments. My husband and I liked that we could get to the wellness center by a special elevator. Guests are provided with robes and slippers.

We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel couldn’t be in a better spot right in front of the harbour but it needs updating. Our room smelt musty and no amount of ventilation seemed to change this. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful though the women on the front desk can be rather icy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool but there could be more seating and also more shade as it got very crowded

This is one of the best hotels in Lindau. Their restaurant offers a mesmerising view of the lake constance. The food is tasty as well. The staff is very friendly. Easily reachable. Mountain view. Major shops nearby. Highly recommended.

The hotel is on an island in Lake Constance, connected to the city by a dam. The price is too expensive.

We stayed there for just one night to visit the area and our friends on the island. The room was pretty clean and quiet. The breakfast was also good.

Fantastic regional food, fresh and cooked to perfection. As unlikely as it is, this restaurant features a substantial fish selection depending on the catch of the day. I loved my onion roast beef (Schwäbischer Zwiebelrostbraten) and will make sure to visit again.

Beautiful place with the best service ever! Antonio, the waiter of the terrace, has an extremely good eye for detail and is really service oriented: as soon as we arrived, he welcomed us and accommodated us in a very nice spot followed by some delicious cocktails. We sat in a cafe bar on the lake shore. A beautiful view, chairs with fur, a great gin and tonic, beautiful glasses, a delicious cake, friendly staff and a bowl of water for the dogs. I would just make a bilingual price list / menu. You are a tourist place after all.

The yacht hotel Helvetia is a very very nice Hotel with 5 floors. We were served at the reception very friendly. Also the room was very nice. The rooms are very different. Some are like in a cheap hotel and therefore okay. Others are so low that I can't stand upright, or only in a certain area because the ground is extremely crooked. The bed is lined accordingly on one side so that you don't roll out. When entering the room, I pulled the cobwebs off the ceiling with my hairdo. I'm 2m tall, but still... Couldn’t get the room cool enough, even with “A/C”, for how thick the comforter was. I wish there was a sheet on the bed. Visited Hotel "Reutemann-Seegarten" today, after lunch for a coffee☕. Not the most professional and attentive staff, to be honest. We asked twice to get the Menu card, after finally receiving it, we've been totally forgotten. There's been certainly enough staff outside to handle all guests requirements, but somehow it seemed a bit unorganized.

We arrived late in the evening for our stay at the hotel, we had previously arranged with reception to pick up our room keycard from a machine outside the hotel as the entrance is not staffed 24 hours. The reception was welcoming. The beds were comfortable and clean as were the shower and the toilet. But the bedroom was too hot. the view isn’t the best. The rooms were carpeted red with centre walls giving it a slightly old fashioned feel. Ein wirklich schönes Hotel in bester Lage. Ein überaus nettes Personal und die Chefin erfragt sofort ob Wünsche offen sind und empfiehlt gerne gute Restaurants. Auch das Frühstück mit frischen Brötchen vom Bäcker lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wenn man sich Lindau anschauen möchte, kann man das Hotel wirklich gut empfehlen!

Ein sehr nettes kleines Hotel, liegt ganz zentral am Bahnhof und Hafen. Dennoch ist die Umgebung sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer hinten raus sind sogar super ruhig. Eine freundliches Serviceteam verwöhnt die Gäste. Gerne wieder, wenn ich in Lindau bin.

Very comfortable room in a quiet part of town. The staff provided helpful advice in parking our car in P5 parking at a much more affordable price than the park garage nearby. Breakfast included eggs prepared as you liked. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, nice breakfast, and parking nearby. There is a lift so that was handy. The bathroom is great with a walk in shower. The rooms itself are a bit small unfortunately, the bed takes up all the space with little space left around it.

Great location in 10 minute walking distance of the old town square on the island. Nice clean new hotel with comfortable but small rooms. Breakfast was a bit bland compared to what we are used to in this price range. I would have liked just regular filter coffee served in stead of machine made. Small rooms, very clean and functional, modern furnishings. Breakfast buffet with friendly staff, something for everyone. The breakfast room is missing a bit of interior to make it a bit more comfortable. The location is simply wonderful, just a few minutes from the island and the next bus stop is also practically nearby. Parking spaces available at the house (fees apply).

Average quality rooms (mine, located in the top floor, was very large but with low ceiling, especially in the bathroom where I could not stretch out my arms, and I am not even tall). Staff behaved in a businesslike manner, not speaking more than they had to. The local draft beer that they serve is quite good!

Travelling from New Zealand for work, the staff at Hotel Ebner were very welcoming and Daniel even allowed for a slightly later check in time with prior notice given.
