This hotel couldn’t be in a better spot right in front of the harbour but it needs updating. Our room smelt musty and no amount of ventilation seemed to change this. The breakfast is pretty good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful though the women on the front desk can be rather icy. There is an indoor and outdoor pool but there could be more seating and also more shade as it got very crowded

This is one of the best hotels in Lindau. Their restaurant offers a mesmerising view of the lake constance. The food is tasty as well. The staff is very friendly. Easily reachable. Mountain view. Major shops nearby. Highly recommended.

The hotel is really well located in the city, which guided our choice. On the other hand, not at all up to the standard of a hotel of this category. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned and far from having all the comfort. The bathrooms are small. The bedding is ok. On the wellness side, a part was not open because it was under repair or malfunctioning but it would be nice to specify it at the reservation...

We had delicious gluten free cakes from them that are great with their delicious coffee with a great view. Thank you.

Great old hotel with outstanding service. The location is directly opposite the main train station so super convenient with your luggage. Check in staff are great and see you off to your room quickly and efficiently. Dining room for breakfast is stunning looking out to the lighthouse and lion. Beware it will get full early so be prepared to wait if you arrive a little towards the end of the service

Pretty, old hotel with character located next to the Bodensee. While the rooms are okay, they are out of date. The restaurant is mediocre. And unfortunately, the weirdest part of the hotel is that the sauna is only open between 14.00 and 19.00. While it can be accessed by special request before 14.00 it cannot be used after 19.00. Lovely place to stay. Great choice of wellness treatments. My husband and I enjoyed that we could access the wellness area using an assigned lift. Hotel Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

Great place at the lake. Old Hotel very expensive for what is offered. Best is the renovated swimmingpool and wellness. A single bedroom is really very very small room 441 for example. Nice Staff.

The hotel has the best location you could wish for Lindau, with the beautiful view to the harbor, lake and mountains. Being vegetarian, breakfast sometimes can be an issue. Here it was better than expected, you can make your fresh juice from apple, carrot, celery, ginger and there were even vegan spreads for the bread. Beautiful place with the best service ever! Antonio, the waiter of the terrace, has an extremely good eye for detail and is really service oriented: as soon as we arrived, he welcomed us and accommodated us in a very nice spot followed by some delicious cocktails. He definitely made our evening very pleasant and we would love to come back soon. Highly recommended!

We sat in a cafe bar on the lake shore. A beautiful view, chairs with fur, a great gin and tonic, beautiful glasses, a delicious cake, friendly staff and a bowl of water for the dogs. I would just make a bilingual price list / menu. You are a tourist place after all.

The yacht hotel Helvetia is a very very nice Hotel with 5 floors. We were served at the reception very friendly. Also the room was very nice. Visited Hotel "Reutemann-Seegarten" today, after lunch for a coffee☕. Not the most professional and attentive staff, to be honest. We asked twice to get the Menu card, after finally receiving it, we've been totally forgotten. There's been certainly enough staff outside to handle all guests requirements, but somehow it seemed a bit unorganized.

We only visited the café-restaurant, overlooking the harbour of the town, for a dessert. Excellent Cheesecake and Strudel - light, tasty and proper-sized portions. The interior of the hotel also looked really beautiful. The personnel was kind, elegant and professional - highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel centrally located and waterfront (Lake Constance) in Lindau. We had a room facing the lake and it was a bit noisey at time as our room was right above the cafe, but the view from our room was spectacular. The hotel is very nice, room are clean and spacious, mine had a terrace and a nice view. Breakfast was complete and delicious. The personnel is adorable and even when we arrived at 11pm they welcome us with a smile.

Probably my favorite hotel of all time. Extremely relaxing with a superb restaurant. Bargain of the century, to boot. Comes very close to places like the Jumeirah Al Qasr, but without being such a hectic beehive. This Hotel is located in Oberreitnau, 7 km from Lindau, in a quiet and nice region. Could be a base for car trips in region – tour of Lake Constance, or as we did, visit to famous German Castles – Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. We had such a relaxing stay at hotel Brügger. The staff were really friendly, the room was spacious, super tidy and comfy and the accessibility was great. We had the breakfast in the small quiet outdoor dining area served for us. Definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Lindau! :)

Best restaurant on the Lindau island. Very delicious German food. Service tends to be a little bit slow. Always reserve a table before you visit. Space is quite limited. Table reservation is only granted for 15min. Still worth a visit!

A 14th Century gem with modern interior that still captured all the charm of beams etc! Soo beautifully done. Quite mixed impression. Location of hotel is excellent and service quite professional. However lack of air conditioning is not acceptable especially in relation to price. I also cannot agree it is friendly for children. There is nothing that could be recognized as children friendly, maybe only the staff.
