The servers in the Cafe, Restaurant and Breakfast Room were prompt and efficient, the food was excellent and the Breakfast Buffet large and generous! I can recommend this Hotel for couples, Families, or Business Travellers

We visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview

The breakfast is pretty good and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful though the women on the front desk can be rather icy

I have taught at a Hospitality School in Zurich for over 15 years, and am a professional business traveller with thousands of overnight stays and 10s of thousands of dining out experiences! 

We only visited the café-restaurant, overlooking the harbour of the town, for a dessert. Excellent Cheesecake and Strudel - light, tasty and proper-sized portions. The interior of the hotel also looked really beautiful

Great place! Comfortable, clean, friendly staff. Good Breakfast. The view from the window was to the lighthouse, it's just stunning scenery!

We had a room facing the lake and it was a bit noisey at time as our room was right above the cafe, but the view from our room was spectacular. So if you are looking for "quiet time" ask for a room not facing the lake

Parking is about one block away and will cost you 15 euros a night for secured underground parking. Open, unsecured parking is also available one block away for 10 euros per night

For us, it was perfect, as was the room, staff and breakfast the next morning. Lindau is a great town to explore with many shops, cafe's and parks

The room was small but comfortable, the bathroom was more spacious, but I think that's because we had been given an "accessible" room despite not needing it! Breakfast was included, and was standard German fare, although a second coffee/juice machine would have been helpful as there was often a queue

Awesome place, good breakfast. Recommended for small duration stays.. exactly in front of lindau hbf makes lufe very easy for the connectivity if you want to visit any other place...

We arrived late in the evening for our stay at the hotel, we had previously arranged with reception to pick up our room keycard from a machine outside the hotel as the entrance is not staffed 24 hours

This all worked as planned and we were able to access our room with no assistance. There is some parking outside the hotel, or a multi-storey 5 minutes walk away for more space

Well located a minutes to the harbour. We had a spacious room with a small seating area. Although a long walk to the room from the lift. Looks like this hotel has taken up two buildings connected

Pillows not good but that seems to be a given in this part of Germany. No extras in room like fridge , water , kettle. No shampoo or conditioner just some soap. But it was quiet and sheets were fresh

Had a late lunch, food is average, fries over cooked, baked potatoe under cooked. But, lovely views and friendly staff. Good shelter from either sun or rain outside.

Good rooms and view. But the breakfast is not worth the price

My pasta with spinach was good, though there was definitly salt and pepper missing. The same applies to the dish of my friend, her dish was completely tasteless

Best hotel I've stayed at in Lindau yet, and I've been to 5 or 6 so far. I stayed in a junior suite, with a terrace. The walk out terrace was wonderful, the rooms were large, clean, and very curly decorated

The owners were charming, they gave us restaurant recommendations and served a delicious breakfast. The hotel is in a good location and was very quiet at night

Excellent room and professional staff. Breakfast was good. We arrived late at night and the keybox system worked well.

Location of hotel is excellent and service quite professional. However lack of air conditioning is not acceptable especially in relation to price. I also cannot agree it is friendly for children

It is in the center of the town. You can walk around, shop, go to the light house area very easy.

Hotel is good ,centrally located and staff was also good and helping nature I would give them 3 & 1/2 Only 2 cons for the hotel 1) its not good for couple with kid as they have only one large bed 2) wifi was not working

I stayed here twice and twice was not disappointed. Breakfast is OK, water pressure good, Internet tolerable, and the beds were comfy. And it's in a great part ot town. So, what's not to like? Nothing, really

The hotel rooms are spacious and kept clean, bathroom is nice and the selection of breakfast is really good and freshly made (savoury and sweet are well balanced) and the Staff is really friendly

For an apartment type room, it is well stocked for 2 people. The kitchen could use something to actually cook on. Of the 2 staff I had contact with, only one spoke English

A 14th Century gem with modern interior that still captured all the charm of beams etc! Soo beautifully done. We had two rooms, one for our teenager and one for my husband and myself and each room was excellent

Best restaurant on the Lindau island. Service tends to be a little bit slow. Always reserve a table before you visit. Table reservation is only granted for 15min

The ambiance is very relaxing and traditional. The Breakfast service is very friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the station and to the port. Everywhere are restaurants and shops

Accommodation in the hotel has been renovated and is very modern and well appointed. The best we had in the 10 day period we spent cycling around the lake. Dinners weren't restaurant quality but good enough value

We had dinner here on our way through town. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful! Our server was Julia. She spoke plety of English and was just adorable. Plenty of seating inside and outside

It was only about a 40 minute walk into the island of Lindau but a regular and punctual bus service was available just outside the hotel. I would have no hesitation in staying here again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Couldn’t get the room cool enough, even with “A/C”, for how thick the comforter was. I wish there was a sheet on the bed. I would’ve taken the comforter off and just used the sheet so I wasn’t sweating at night

Breakfast had a lot of options every day. Great donuts, croissants, pancakes, meat options and much more. Room service didn’t change our sheets on the 3rd day like we thought they would

They just made the bed with the dirty sheets on it. Very friendly front desk staff. 15 minute bike ride to the island

Very helpful staff, great accommodations, wonderful breakfast. Ask the people at reception and they even help get you a reservation at some good local restaurants.

The only thing that could be improved is the dining room's furnishings (but that's a matter of taste). The available parking spaces (including charging stations for electric cars) are also a plus

Lovely hotel, nice breakfast, and parking nearby. There is a lift so that was handy. The bathroom is great with a walk in shower
