I was disappointed with my recent stay. The initial room had a dirty window, as shown in the picture, and a bad odor, which forced me to change rooms for a better experience. This really shouldn’t have happened, especially at this price point. Additionally, basic amenities like mobile phone chargers weren’t available, which I would expect for the rate being charged. Overcharged for two days stay despite booking confirmation that indicated otherwise. I had booked a business stay there with email confirmation for eight nights. The night before departure I requested an early morning cab and requested a preliminary bill print out. I was told the final bill would be emailed to me. I provided my email. The next morning as the cab was arriving the front desk agent said that I was booked for two more nights. Since I had to leave, I said that I had proof that I was not, and to check their booking confirmation from a third-party service. I was awaiting my final bill by email in case I needed to dispute. The bill never arrived. But a charge was placed on my credit card for two extra nights. I emailed the manager whose email appears on their website. Four days later I do not have a bill and it looks like they charged me for two additional nights.
A week later, they produced some sort of extension for two days that I never signed and never saw and never never requested. And now I’m told the manager is on holiday for a week and cannot resolve the additional $900 in room charges I have never experienced this level of service in all my travels.
Along with the construction in the hotel, this would be far from my first pick on my next visit.
The bartender in the buffet staff are very kind, and the rooms are well kept up. The front desk staff, however, has a huge communication issue.
