Best Hotels in Oberhausen

I was shocked how good value this hotel was, I have a great mattress at home and I normally find hotel mattresses uncomfortable but this was great. We will definitely be staying here again

The hotel is in a very good location close to all amenities. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is good. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Will surely visit again.

Although a budget hotel and inexpensive it is a very nice place to stay for one or two nights. The room was spacious and modern, with a very good bathroom. It was very quiet despite being fully booked

A real surprise: a modern hotel, clean and in a superb location, not what I expected, a good bargain. Rooms are no too spacious, but it suffices. Only downside is the airco, or should I say lack off

We stayed at the hotel for a night. The hotel was really good with 24/24 service. We are happy with the price (62€/night) and the cappuccino for 3,5€. However, the room is not really soundproof

Another tip: If you want to have a cheap dinner, go to the XIAO restaurant opposite to the hotel. Cheap but good food, also for take away

Great hotel in a Great neighborhood. just by luck I selected a hotel which is in the best neighborhood in Oberhausen. What impressed me most was that it was quiet. For a family Oberhausen has everything: Good schools

a forest 100 meters from the hotel. The restuarant in the hotel was fantastic. The steak, literally, was like butter. And my guests said their food was also delicious

The hope is the service and food selection improves to reach the usually high Mercure level. Be prepared also to spend 18 euros for the good breakfast buffet

Pleasant stay, comfortable chairs moderate, about the beds: duvet very warm, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, otherwise ok.

The store was easy to find, there was good parking, the reception was friendly and helpful, the room was very well equipped (a bottle of drinking water, tea, coffee, and a kettle), and the restroom area was very large and well-equipped

+ Rooms are clean and spacious + Breakfast is good and offers alternatives for vegans & customers with intolerances + Night shift gentlemen in the reception was very kind to switch our rooms - rooms need renovation - issues with hot water - major noise early in the morning by cleaning company

The shower was separate from the toilet and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, clean, and sturdy

Great staff, good breakfast, just missing a coffee station and iron in the room. They will bring you coffee, but I like being able to make my own! 5min walk to nearest train station, and shopping mall

The room we had was perfect for a family of 5 (which can be a challenge). Staff was very friendly (especially to our kids). The location is great for visiting the huge Christmas market

Despite the fact that we are usually not big meat ball fans we absolutely loved them there. Also worth mentioning is the great selection of cheeses

Stayed there for only 12 hours because my flight got cancelled. It was a nice hotel near a plaza with lots of restaurants and other shops. The room was clean and well furnished.

Restaurant has a good choice and the cook has a blessed hand. Unfortunately you need to carry over with you your best patience since it will take forever to order and to be served

Lovely hotel and the restaurant is excellent

Position at the top of the Mulheim's hill is one of the best things here, since you can experience a nice walk down to the river at the morning, when the mist still covers it and birds are waking up

Delicious restaurant downstairs of the hotel, first time in my life ate such a tasty Burger ? I advise everyone to visit

Exceptionally friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Choice of food and very good taste. Dessert is a feast for the eyes. However, smaller desserts should also be offered. We'll be back anyway!

I couldn't sleep well at the Hotel Gimken because the mattress was too hard for me, but otherwise I liked it and I thought the food was good. The waiters were also very friendly and nice.😊👍.

We had made a reservation for Christmas Eve. Due to an error at the booking agency, the reservation did not reach them. Haus Gimken gave us a free stay

Zuerst: ich habe NICHT im Regent übernachtet, sondern bin aufs Schwesterhotel Plaza umgebucht worden. Das Plaza hat einen höheren Standard (4 Sterne), aber ich habe den Regent-Preis (3 Sterne) bezahlt

Auch ist man endlich soweit wie in NL oder UK: im Zimmer ist ein Wasserkocher und eine Auswahl Tees und einige Tütchen Instantkaffee. Für mich als Nichtfrühstücker perfekt

Das Plaza ist natürlich toll, ich mag beide Hotels und steige immer wieder dort ab. Das Bad in DIESEM Zimmer im Plaza war so groß wie in anderen Hotels das Einzelzimmer

Good hotel to stay in. Missing some basic amenities but could be asked at service desk. Next to Oberhausen Centro shopping centre and busses to central is just walking distance.

The hotel service is good and it is convenient to go to Centro

location is perfect, just 2 mins walk to Centro mall and the winter market. Rooms are perfect and staff is very friendly. I think this is the first hotel where I saw the environment's sustainable goals implemented

We stayed in the hotel for one night. We got an accessible room without asking for it, but as it did not bother us too much, we did not say anything about it. The room itself was clean and quite spacious

The window overlooked the parking lot. The only thing is that an housekeeper opened our door twice in the morning, while we were still in the room. We mentioned that to the frontdesk and got an apology

Rooms start to need some refurbishment. Dirty carpet and curtains as an example. Good bed. Reception and bar/restaurant are nice and spacious.

All joking aside, it was a fantastic, clean, and well located spot for our eurocup game in geltenkircen

The breakfast buffet was nice, which includes bread, meat, cheese, eggs, condiments and much more. There was definitely enough to pick to eat that even our picky daughter ate enough

We booked a package at this hotel which includes a 3 night stay including breakfast and 2-day movie park ticket, and tickets to Lego discovery center and sealife

The room we got was street side so you should be able to handle street sounds or request another room since the hotel is next to a main road through the city

However, we chose this hotel because of the pool and sauna. The pool was broken and unusable. The sauna is actually available from 9 a. , but you have to call ahead or wait half an hour to use it in the morning

Quite fat from the Messe, but the hotel was good and clean, just need to be clear about the information for the extra bed for kids, which should be free, but was charged.

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The rooms and lobby was very clean. I have to tell the service was fantastic, because we booked 2 twin rooms for family of 4

And the hitel staff gave us a conjoined room with door in between. Which was so comfortable and my kids loved it

The Holiday Inn Express brand is always solid. Good shower Strong and fast WIFI And a very large shoppingcentre (centro) very nearbye (5min walk) Also the ArenA Oberhausen is a very short walk

He gave me suitable room considering my duration of stay, helped with vanity kits, informed nearby eating outlets, best of all informed about LIDL store 😀. Extended my checkout time on request

It's a very old hotel. The breakfast is pretty good. It's about 10 minutes' walk from the train station.

A cheap but nice hotel had a good time the breakfast was only 5 euro. It was a bit busy during the festival I went to but the did their best to help me.
