location is perfect, just 2 mins walk to Centro mall and the winter market. Rooms are perfect and staff is very friendly. I think this is the first hotel where I saw the environment's sustainable goals implemented

Friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing shower and good breakfast. They have a huge parkinglot, which you do have to pay for. The hotel is located right next to the mall

Good room and very nice bathroom (easy walk in shower) and big breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff. All rooms have a/c since recent renovations. Got a free upgrade to a comfort room

For the price, it was excellent. Very clean room, easy check-in, tasty breakfast. Just needed more towels 😬 They had everything I need for it to be an amazing breakfast

Food is decent, staff are mostly friendly, we where there for a board game convention locally but kept getting hassle from staff when trying to play

My family really like the place. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the swimming pool in the morning. Breakfast was very good. I parked my car overnight on the sretreet across the road free of charge.

Great services, comfort and space are great from room to bathroom. Breakfast amazing 🙏🏻 Body soap and shampoo were missing but that's fine. Didn't try the swimming pool but I would love to.

The hotel was very clean nice ,the breakfast was brilliant,we didnt have eni problem evrithing was good,only we are littelbit not happy with the sauna and pool that's why we bought a hotel so that we could freshen up a bit but it was closed

Hotel booking agents show this hotel as having EV parking. Perhaps there is in the adjacent car park but not with the hotel. This is a good business hotel and for us perfect for a stopover

The service / staff in the hotel was awesome. They did everything in their power to make you feel appreciated. The bar closed rather early on Friday and in general they close the bar at 12am

The hotel is in a very good location close to all amenities. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is good. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Will surely visit again.

A real surprise: a modern hotel, clean and in a superb location, not what I expected, a good bargain. Rooms are no too spacious, but it suffices. Only downside is the airco, or should I say lack off

Average hotel. We just stayed there one night for a concert happening nearby. Locations is great. The room is small though (expected) which is ok but the water pressure is abismal.

I was shocked how good value this hotel was, I have a great mattress at home and I normally find hotel mattresses uncomfortable but this was great. We will definitely be staying here again

We have used this hotel multiple times whilst attending exhibitions in Duesseldorf. The drive to the exhibition is ok and the pricing just doesn't compare during busy times

The Hotel is well located, close to the center and a good connection to Centro. The staff was friendly. Good breakfast buffet.

I stayed at the hotel two weeks in a row for work. I had problems with the air conditioner not working in both rooms. A coworker also had problems with the air conditioner in their room

Clean - centrally located Hotel. Certainly something in the years come, but everything was clean and well maintained . Are late at the Hotel but at the Bar, have a tasty Burger with super Fries eaten.

If there's not a snowflake symbol in the bottom right corner of the thermostat screen, it's not cooling. Other than that, it is a nice hotel in a great location

Rooms start to need some refurbishment. Dirty carpet and curtains as an example. Good bed. Reception and bar/restaurant are nice and spacious.

Nice little country hotel in the more quiet area of Essen. Location wise it's quite tranquil but also a bit off with nothing much around

Pratical to stay 1 or 2 nights, take a hot shower and sleep ok. The room was not so clean, the carpet was pretty dusty, the toilet sink also

Yes, we got our towls, but there is a reason for cards - the room was ok, but the style was old and carpeted everywhere. - no disinfectant or towls in the gym. And as a variety, no ergometer

We had the family room for a night (€110). Not a new room but pretty clean. The only improvement we could think of would be a kettle in the room (and coffee/tea set) and fluffier pillows

For a family of 5 (10, 8 and 4 yo kids) the stay was a pleasant one after a day spent at Movie Park

I loved it! I've been there for twice at least for a week each time. Best rates, good staff, gym, sauna bath etc. Rooms are also nice.

But after return from dinner at 10pm bar was already closed 🤔, no “nightcap”. Strange that bar closes so early. My team and I wanted to recap the day! Breakfast 🍳 very extensive here again friendly staff

Check in, filling out a lot of paperwork, must be done! Rooms are nice and clean. The elevator 🛗 needs to be serviced or had it’s best time 😳. Visit the bar before dinner, friendly staff

To start the day a pleasant experience

I had a fantastic stay at this budget hotel! The room was clean and had all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped and spotless bathroom was a pleasant surprise

-We booked the hotel to work on our wedding plan and we asked the 2 ladies who work at the reception/kitchen (Venn and Engelhardt) to seat at the huge dining area after breakfast so that we can work with the the laptop comfortably for few hours

They refused because the dining room had to be cleaned. After 2 hours of seating uncomfortably on the low sofas at the reception we asked again but they said that it's against the rules

We asked their understanding but they were totally inflexible. I respect rules but this can not happen! In a hotel that is not perfect, a friendly customer service can compensate

The receptionist (Venn) explained that this was the last day of the cleaning company and asked for our understanding

but unfortunately not in this case with Venn and Engelhart

At first we weren't sure about the menu but we took a chance and the dishes were incredible. This was a stay we will never forget. Already recommended the hotel to my friends

We booked a package at this hotel which includes a 3 night stay including breakfast and 2-day movie park ticket, and tickets to Lego discovery center and sealife

The breakfast buffet was nice, which includes bread, meat, cheese, eggs, condiments and much more. There was definitely enough to pick to eat that even our picky daughter ate enough

The room we got was street side so you should be able to handle street sounds or request another room since the hotel is next to a main road through the city

The beds were fine but we had to request thinner blankets since the standard blankets seem to be made for people that cannot handle cold weather

The room we had was perfect for a family of 5 (which can be a challenge). Staff was very friendly (especially to our kids). The location is great for visiting the huge Christmas market

Another gem in small town, hard to find and hard to forget. We had the Turm Suite facing the river, large room well equipped with a great view. Breakfast was cooked to order and had all you wanted
