Where to stay in Oberhausen

The hotel is in a very good location close to all amenities. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is good. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Will surely visit again.

Although a budget hotel and inexpensive it is a very nice place to stay for one or two nights. The room was spacious and modern, with a very good bathroom. Very comfortable new hotel in the area but very little effort has been made to make it easily accessible on foot. This is very much a ‘car required’ area, which is more the fault of the area than the hotel. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced compared to alternatives locally.

We stayed at the hotel for a night. The hotel was really good with 24/24 service. The room is cosy and clean. We are happy with the price (62€/night) and the cappuccino for 3,5€. However, the room is not really soundproof.

Great hotel in a Great neighborhood..... Well..... just by luck I selected a hotel which is in the best neighborhood in Oberhausen... What impressed me most was that it was quiet..... We spent one night here to attend an event nearby. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the people staffing the breakfast room. Breakfast was fresh, varied and good quality.

I had a fantastic stay at this budget hotel! The room was clean and had all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped and spotless bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Great hotel. The breakfast was super. Despite the fact that we are usually not big meat ball fans we absolutely loved them there. Also worth mentioning is the great selection of cheeses. The room we had was perfect for a family of 5 (which can be a challenge). Staff was very friendly (especially to our kids). The location is great for visiting the huge Christmas market

Stayed there for only 12 hours because my flight got cancelled. It was a nice hotel near a plaza with lots of restaurants and other shops. The room was clean and well furnished.

The design and furniture of the room (wooden) gives the room a very warm feel. The restaurant is awesome. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a nice park around the corner. Despite the distance to the city center, fairly efficient public transit.

Spent 3 nights here, very friendly staff, great breakfast & a clean & comfortable room. Close to city centre with good bars & restaurants. If you like Thai food go to Nuh's about 40 metres across the square, its fantastic😊

A shame that the hotel must close due to regulatory requirements. I stayed there for a week and it is a really nice run hotel. The staff are super friendly, the breakfast for such a small hotel really outstanding and the rooms are large and spacious. Personally, I thank you for your visit and I wish you all the best in the fight against bureaucracy.

Everything else, Axel was fantastic upon arrival, it was very clean, ipod preloaded with songs, amazing to sit outside with a coffee and watch the sunrise. I ordered this place because of cheapest price. The hotel room itself is good and service was perfect. But the shower was bad at least in my room - water cold almost all the time. Internet extremely fast and I was able to watch a YouTube video without problems. Will not come again because of cold water in the shower.

Room is very simple, but clean. Beds are comfortable. When showering everything gets wet because the glass screen is only about 40cm. Furthermore, you have no tea or coffee facilities. Parking is easy near the hotel. Westfield mall is within walking distance.

We booked a package at this hotel which includes a 3 night stay including breakfast and 2-day movie park ticket, and tickets to Lego discovery center and sealife. The staff is super friendly and the hotel has two restaurants connected to it which all seem to be part of the hotel. Great value for money. We got a family room with good space and very comfortable beds. Breakfast room was light, airy and with a green planted terrace. We enjoyed our continental breakfast. Staff members were very friendly and polite. Parking is right by the hotel.

Germany Trip Room was not thoroughly cleaned. We found dust on the table and others areas. Refreshments left in the room without explanation that you will be charged if consumed. This was very wrong and should have been told the moment we check in.

Breakfast was very good and luckily served until 10:30 a.m. because it was school holidays. The room was nice, too, although a bit small, but we had booked the cheapest category. However, we chose this hotel because of the pool and sauna. The pool was broken and unusable. The sauna is actually available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., but you have to call ahead or wait half an hour to use it in the morning...

Nice room with practical furniture, comfortable bed, sufficient lighting and a nice bathroom. Nice extras such as coffee, water and refrigerator in the room. Also no shortage of power outlets. Entrance hall room is an extra asset.

The hotel was very good, but the waitress/receptionist at the breakfast buffet was very inhospitable. You didn't feel welcome, more like a supplicant. Typically German, always with the didactic, raised index finger. It was a shame, it ruined my day and from then on I only went into the city for breakfast.

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The rooms and lobby was very clean. I have to tell the service was fantastic, because we booked 2 twin rooms for family of 4. And the hitel staff gave us a conjoined room with door in between. Which was so comfortable and my kids loved it.

Lovely hotel, but it is most definitely 'out of town'. Breakfast was varied and plentiful in German style. No adjacent restaurants that I could see other than the unglamorous food of the Westfield Centre
