Very quiet and convenient hotel.

Stayed at the Circle Inn for three nights in December for a business trip. The hotel is very conveniently located, offers fantastic service, very clean and spacious rooms and a great breakfast! Will definitely return.

This place has been here for over 25 years serving the American military. What can I say, as the breakfast is the best with eggs, sausage, bacon and yes salmon. They do have fresh cut fruit and tasty coffee. The rooms are large with ac, fridge, and microwave.

We use this hotel regularly as they are very welcoming and a pleasant place to stay.

Had a one night stop over and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Ivan was especially understanding and couldn’t have been more accommodating as my child was unwell and made us feel a lot less frantic which we really appreciate. Thank you again!

I was on a road trip through Germany/France and needed to wash clothes so I stayed here. Very nice room with lots of fans/hangers and they had washer/dryer on-site so I could wash my clothes. The restaurant they are connected to is amazing with their own roasted coffee and homemade dishes.

Great location, only complaint is no railing on windows to open all the way to let in fresh air with pets in the room, can deal with no AC but not being able to open window is rough where the shingle heat just goes straight back in the room. Excellent hotel in Ramstein. Very friendly staff. Both regular and extended stay rooms. WiFi and close to many shops and restaurants. Laundry and gym available for guests. Fantastic Burger, I can only speak about the Bacon Cheeseburger that I had which was delightful. You can tell the beef is locally grown and grass fed as it basically melts in your mouth. For over 10 years I have had the pleasure of occasionally staying at the Merkur. Some short visits, some 30+ day visits. The staff is like a family and makes you feel like you belong there. They are all courteous and helpful. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. As for the food, I've tried most of it and it is 5 star quality. Hilton and Marriotts cannot compete with the Merkur!

We had to ask if it was possible to check out an hour later due to a transportation issue and the gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and let us check out at a later time. Fantastic hptel with friendly staff

Lovely "German village" setting. Older hotel - 5 stories, no elevator and we were on the 5th floor. AC wasn't working in middle of the summer. Had to change hotels. The staff were very understanding.

My husband and I stayed at the Goldinger for 4 nights while visiting Landsthul , Heidelberg and Ramstein. The staff was extremely accomodating , especially helping us to get a taxi to the base for departure, The inn is so cozy! We will be back!

A good B&B near to Ramstein. I had a comfortable room, complete with fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and I had a great shower. The breakfast was good. Plenty of free parking outside. The wireless was not great which was the only downside. I'd stay here again if in the area.

We have stayed here for extended periods of time. This is the only hotel in which I will stay. The innkeeper, Michael, does a wonderful job of making you feel at home and helping you to find your way around. He has a wonderful staff and we definitely felt like family.

This hotel has no air conditioning. Fans are usually fine for Europe, but the room only had a table fan. The shower was so small, turning around turned the water off. The hotel is near trails, Nanstein Castle, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was kind. This stay would be more tolerable in the winter.

Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly.

Everything was amazing! This super authentic and quaint hotel is located a 10-15 minute walk up to the ruins of a historic castle and about a 15 minute drive to downtown Kaiserslautern. Only speaking for the restaurant here, but it is by far Top 3 in the Kaiserslautern area for me. The food (vegetarian and meat dishes alike) and the wine are outstanding. The tavern-feel of the interior maintains so much character. Any time my wife and I have something to celebrate, we are sure to come here. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Staying at hotel frohlech We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. Although it on the outskirts of the city it is a lovely, friendly hotel where you are made to feel really welcome. The rooms are kept really clean and well maintained. It is quite close to the University and about a 10 minute walk from the station. You have to walk into the city for food. About a 20 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Easy check in rooms exactly as the website, beautiful modern 1 bedroom suite; downside no real closet space to hang your clothes only two bedside closets for foldable clothes and a 1/2size comforter. Beautiful hotel. Only spoke to staff on phone to get check in instructions. They were easy but had trouble locating the room, there was no number on the door. Our room was perfect for our family of 5 with 2 little kids, they even had a pack n play ready. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was fine - location was nice, just outside of Kaiserslautern, but there wasn't much immediately around the hotel. Check-in was different - my room key was in a lockbox, with the registration card. My check-out was early in the morning so I just dropped the key in another secure box.

My room was clean and a good size. It had a small fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. The best aspects of this hotel were the location, easy access to the hotel with individual code and the host/ owner. The owner went out of his way to help and I was able to leave my case in the room all day and pick it up on the ground floor.

Great location in a quiet side street in the city but ideally situated for the train station and all ammenities. Clean and comfortable. The staff are fantastically efficient and super friendly. Breakfast was superb.

Simply top, cheap and very good service

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world for work. Nowhere else have I been welcomed in such a customer-friendly manner and with such flexibility of stay! A thousand thanks to the young, incredibly optimistic boss of the hotel! I can only recommend it to everyone.

Had a Christmas Party here and The hotel Staff was awesome! They provided us with everything we needed even a lactation room. Very reminiscent of a prison yet still very nice. I booked a double comfort room and it was just big enough for my 13 yr old daughter and myself.

The rooms are clean, but not very spacious, and kind of outdated. The vreakfast is rather simple, and the coffee served on each table was quite bad... The location of the hotel is fine, and there's a lot of parking. Also, the prison details (barb wires, fenced windows, and similar) will be interesting to some people, but not that much to the others (especially girls/women). Also - no gym/sauna.

The hotel was nice. The fact that it was a prison before adds to it's ambiance. You can sleep in a cell if you like. I thought this was cute. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but ok. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. Decent prices.

Overall, great experience. I would have rated it 5 stars, however, the Wi-Fi in the room was not working. I checked-in the middle of the night and the reception was very helpful. Hotel is centrally located and has ample free parking. To top it off, the free breakfast was well laided out and had a great variety. I will definitely stay again!

Astra is a very nice, very simple little hotel. No extras, but the owner keeps the rooms immaculately clean and her breakfasts are fantastic. Don't expect much in the way of luxury, but the owner does a wonderful job of making you feel welcome.

Quant, clean, and convenient. Great access to downtown (10-15 min walk) and the train station (2 min). Easy access to the multitude of military bases in the area. Simple but enjoyable let breakfast each morning - super friendly host (speaks perfect English). Only reason for 4 stars was the road noise - room overlooked busy road with lost of traffic (and occasional emergency vehicle late at night).

Amazing little family business hotel. Room was clean, new, warm, big enough. Bed was hard and extremely comfortable, loved it! Breakfast is not included in the price, has to be booked extra. I absolutely loved this hotel stay and wish I would’ve stayed longer. The outdoor seating area wasn’t open but it looked fabulous and the staff was superb and extremely friendly. Very close to a nice hike in the woods and quiet. The ONLY complaint I have is that I wanted a bathtub in my room but it really want that big of a deal.. I would definitely stay here again

We spent one night at the Saks Kaiserslautern and had a SPA suite. Parking in the public parking garage is discounted for hotel guests. Check-in was straightforward and friendly. The suite was clean and modern: The bathroom and the terrace were great: All in all, a successful stay. We would love to come back.

The B&B is a great alternative to more expensive hotel options in Kaiserslautern. Parking directions to back of hotel should be prime otherwise sat nav brings you to the front door and it means a long way to return to a right turn into the car park. Left turn-in is not allowed so need to go round the roundabout and under the rail bridge again.

All good aside from the shower drain being clogged and flooding part of the room. I had to clear up hair from the last 100 guests to fix the problem. Dried out the room with the towels. In the morning, the cleaning lady woke me up to give me a hard time for leaving wet towels in the hallway. That’s what I got for not wanting to call anyone at midnight no clean my room.

Perfect stay and really good room.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic! One recommedation for the rooms: install USB cable charging ports. This will allow international travelers to charge their phones without having to also bring a bulky electrical adapter plug.

A super - nice, new hotel, where we enjoyed our stay in kl! The only drawback is that there was no cleaning and the bed is a little narrow, but apart from that the hotel is super beautiful and i also liked how clean, organized the hall area is! Breakfasts were great too! :)

Very friendly people, and a great breakfast, but the rooms are extremely small and have barely a bed and a shower. The Internet is fine, but it will block you from accessing sites that should be ok. You’ll want to have a VPN. There is a TV and a child’s desk that is too small for you to use for a laptop. It’s fine if you’re going to stay for a night, but not an extended stay. Great hotel. I love the concept where you don't need to see people to check-in. The rooms are very clean. Good AC. Great bathroom. And the beds are also very good. We just stayed for 1 night. Very nice hotel with natural materials. Another positive aspect is the really friendly staff. Due to a traffic jam we didn't make it to dinner in time - but we didn't have to go to bed hungry. The stay at PETERS Jägersburg was excellent in every way. Delicious food, very nice staff, great wellness area, clean and modern rooms and the location on the lake was just great! I would definitely like to come back!
