This place has been here for over 25 years serving the American military. What can I say, as the breakfast is the best with eggs, sausage, bacon and yes salmon. They do have fresh cut fruit and tasty coffee. The rooms are large with ac, fridge, and microwave.

We use this hotel regularly as they are very welcoming and a pleasant place to stay.

Stayed at the Hotel Circle Inn for over a month and it was amazing. The rooms were modern and the staff was super friendly. It's also in a quiet location (outside of a few sporting events and a concert). I highly recommend the Hotel Circle Inn. After hours check in is fun because it's an automated room key dispenser outside the main entrance.

The hotel was going through some renovations in the lobby but the room itself was very modern, clean, and comfortable. The usb plugs were greatly appreciated, no need for international adapters. Staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Sometimes I felt like I was the only one in the building, it was a very quiet stay. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

No AC which I guess is common in Germany. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. They were very accommodating for a family of five.

The staff went out of there way to make you feel at home. The lady cooking breakfast always greeted you with a smile and a warm welcome. The furnishings were a bit dated but the hotel was clean.

Very clean and accommodating hotel. They have an amazing breakfast, homemade by the kindest woman. It's an older property but with newer and more modern amenities. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They also added an outdoor fire pit which was a nice touch!

This hotel is in a great location. It’s very accessible to Ramstein and the Autobahn (A6 & A62). The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good too. The rooms were simple, clean and adequate. I found that the European simplicity was very refreshing. I wouldn’t be upset if I had to stay here again.

I was on a road trip through Germany/France and needed to wash clothes so I stayed here. Very nice room with lots of fans/hangers and they had washer/dryer on-site so I could wash my clothes. The restaurant they are connected to is amazing with their own roasted coffee and homemade dishes.

I can't recommend Hotel America enough. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the breakfast is lovely. We enjoy our stay every time.

Great location, only complaint is no railing on windows to open all the way to let in fresh air with pets in the room, can deal with no AC but not being able to open window is rough where the shingle heat just goes straight back in the room. Room on top floor has a/c, took only a little to Room ontop floor what is comfortably cool even though the weather was quite hot, very quiet, very nice bathroom, this place is a good deal for Rammstein, everything in walking distance. One of the better choices for places near the base.

The best burgers in the kaiserslautern area period they import their beef from the United States. It's a little bit of a high price to pay for a cheeseburger, but highly worth it. The staff is friendly, all speak English, and if you ask for it, will give you tap water for free .

Fantastic Burger, I can only speak about the Bacon Cheeseburger that I had which was delightful. You can tell the beef is locally grown and grass fed as it basically melts in your mouth. The only reason why this isn’t 5 star has to do with the condiments; the cheese tastes cheap and still ends up overpowering the bacon, the lettuce leaf and tomato slice were both rather small. The Hotel Merkur is a wonderful place. The staff is amazing, the food was great, and the bar was always hopping. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Ramstein area.

Great place to stay, you won’t be disappointed! From here it’s a short 15 minute walk into Landstuhl where you’ll find other great restaurants. They have a wonderful staff and great rooms. Our room was clean, and a lot of space, with very good beds! The bathroom was nice and clean, with a perfect shower. The airco on the room, the extra terras outside... The room was perfect!!! For an older hotel, it has what is necessary to get the job done and then some. The morning breakfast is awesome, complete with smoked salmon. They offer made to order eggs and pancakes. Another hotel I stay at did not have either of these. It does lack an evening restaurant and bar, but Anchos is a two minute walk away. The shower was increedible.

A good B&B near to Ramstein. I had a comfortable room, complete with fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and I had a great shower. The breakfast was good. Plenty of free parking outside. The wireless was not great which was the only downside. I'd stay here again if in the area.

We have stayed here for extended periods of time. This is the only hotel in which I will stay. The innkeeper, Michael, does a wonderful job of making you feel at home and helping you to find your way around. He has a wonderful staff and we definitely felt like family.

This is a hidden gem. The room was fantastic. It was very spacious with a refrigerator and ceiling fan. The bed was very comfortable with night stands and plugs on both sides. This was the absolute cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. And I travel a lot. The owners are wonderful, helpful and accommodating hosts. The fresh breakfast is a great way to start the day. The hotel is in walking distance of all sorts of bars, restaurants and of course the castle. This is a great all around hotel.

The hotel is very nice. It has a certain homestyle flavor to it. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is close to everything including a nice hike to Landstuhl castle.

We are currently staying here while PCSing at landstuhl. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the hospital and is located right next to a super market and a few restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your stay and provide washer and dryers as well! Everyone on staff also speaks English and are happy to help...

Loved our stay here! Very relaxing spot, even with a one and a half year old! The staff was AMAZING! There was only the same 3 people working the 2 nights that we stayed, and they did EVERYTHING! Such a cute place! Very rustic with a down-home feel. It was absolutely wonderful! I stayed during the off-season in late November, but it was a great experience. Stayed there last night - 7 Dec 22. Extremely neat, nice hotel. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even had a few English news channels - not expected. Staff was polite and professional. Ordered lunch to go for our anniversary - even boxed up, the presentation was lovely! And the flavor - oh my - so delicious! As one who can’t eat gluten, what a delight to find a restaurant with a dedicated GF restaurant and to enjoy CROQUETTES, which I haven’t been able to eat for the past two years. And that CHEESECAKE - just wow! Whatever you’re doing in that kitchen, keep it up!

I got an "appartment" which turned out to be the whole first floor. Clean, full kitchen and bath, and friendly owners. The owner even offered to make me breakfast on the day I was checking out. Really nice place in an easy to get to location.

This place was fair. The staff were ok but didn't go out of their way to be polite and helpful. The room was clean but there were several things that needed to be fixed - the shower door and a drawer was broken. Ah very clean and warmly decorated hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel rooms are somewhat dated, but properly equiped. The beds and especially the blankets were fantastic and so was the breakfast. There is a big free parkinglot behind the hotel as well.

The rooms were quite nice and the staff was friendly. My only issue was the bathrooms were a bit dated, and the water pressure wasn't great. Beyond that, it was a wonderful room and I recommend them.

Everything was amazing! This super authentic and quaint hotel is located a 10-15 minute walk up to the ruins of a historic castle and about a 15 minute drive to downtown Kaiserslautern. The rooms were bright and airy with comfortable beds and fans for warm weather. Very spacious and clean. The breakfast was phenomenal with fresh breads and cheeses. We also had lunch at the restaurant in the afternoon...

Only speaking for the restaurant here, but it is by far Top 3 in the Kaiserslautern area for me. The food (vegetarian and meat dishes alike) and the wine are outstanding. The tavern-feel of the interior maintains so much character. Any time my wife and I have something to celebrate, we are sure to come here. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Owner can be difficult, pushy almost. We would set an appointment, then he would bug my wife to no end about the time, or changing the time, or this or that. He also messed up the VAT form, or he was dishonest about the price in the first place. I still haven't figured out which. However, the apartment was decent and right next to the lake.

I have visited Kaiserslautern several times and I have always stayed at this hotel because Il love the location, the rooms and the polite staff. The last time I was, two weeks ago, I was very impressed by the fresh renovation and the new country style furniture.

The hotel is good, but there is no air conditioning, in summer is a disaster

Easy check in rooms exactly as the website, beautiful modern 1 bedroom suite; downside no real closet space to hang your clothes only two bedside closets for foldable clothes and a 1/2size comforter. What's that about I have NO IDEAL. Luckily I traveled with my favorite blanket. Other than that no complaints, so far. If I don't update this post, all went well.

Piazza Cavour is a good location, near to the Centro Storico. The hosts were really kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and there was AC in it.

Clean. Ish...I found a broken, discarded bag in my room when I checked in and a empty can of chewing gum. Sheets and bathroom seemed clean. Breakfast selection decent enough for the price tag. Overall, you get what you pay for.

We try to stay at Hotel Heymann when in k-town. Love the home-like feel. Very clean rooms and a real DE breakfast. Private parking! Overall, highly recommend this hotel. And if you are traveling with family, they have a suite room (top floor) that has like 3 or 4 beds.

Great location in a quiet side street in the city but ideally situated for the train station and all ammenities. Clean and comfortable. The staff are fantastically efficient and super friendly. Breakfast was superb.

A nice, small hotel with very, very pleasant and frendly staff. There are a lot of arts and crafts details that make this place feels like home. Very clean, great lounge garten in the back and good food...what else can you need ! It is also in the close center, so everithing is in the walking distance. Feels like home! Staff is super nice and rooms are clean! Everything about the hotel is great and the breakfast is delicious!

Had a Christmas Party here and The hotel Staff was awesome! They provided us with everything we needed even a lactation room. Very reminiscent of a prison yet still very nice. I booked a double comfort room and it was just big enough for my 13 yr old daughter and myself.

The rooms are clean, but not very spacious, and kind of outdated. The vreakfast is rather simple, and the coffee served on each table was quite bad... The location of the hotel is fine, and there's a lot of parking. Also, the prison details (barb wires, fenced windows, and similar) will be interesting to some people, but not that much to the others (especially girls/women). Also - no gym/sauna.

The hotel was nice. The fact that it was a prison before adds to it's ambiance. You can sleep in a cell if you like. I thought this was cute. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but ok. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. Decent prices.

Overall, great experience. I would have rated it 5 stars, however, the Wi-Fi in the room was not working. I checked-in the middle of the night and the reception was very helpful. Hotel is centrally located and has ample free parking. To top it off, the free breakfast was well laided out and had a great variety. I will definitely stay again!

Astra is a very nice, very simple little hotel. No extras, but the owner keeps the rooms immaculately clean and her breakfasts are fantastic. Don't expect much in the way of luxury, but the owner does a wonderful job of making you feel welcome.

Quant, clean, and convenient. Great access to downtown (10-15 min walk) and the train station (2 min). Easy access to the multitude of military bases in the area. Simple but enjoyable let breakfast each morning - super friendly host (speaks perfect English). Only reason for 4 stars was the road noise - room overlooked busy road with lost of traffic (and occasional emergency vehicle late at night).

A well-placed hotel, easily accessible from the train station, very well maintained by the owners, with comfortable and very clean rooms, well-equipped bathroom. Breakfast was served by the hotel owner, with fresh and quality food. The owners were very friendly with the guests. Thanks!

The rooms are small but modern , location is great and the reception wonderfull I got very personal with the woman that owns the hotel she told me her life story and how she build the hotel up from what it is today . Wonderfull Strong woman

Amazing little family business hotel. Room was clean, new, warm, big enough. Bed was hard and extremely comfortable, loved it! Breakfast is not included in the price, has to be booked extra. (8,5€) It's not a typical buffet type, when you come to the restaurant, polite lady hotel owner will be glad to prepare you a coffee or tea, with some eggs, cheese, ham. You'll get it nicely served on the plate...

Incredible family atmosphere with amazing dining options. Breakfast was superb and the staff went the extra mile…smiley faces in all our drinks!

Really pleasant place, with a great beer garden, good food (reasonably priced) located in pure nature, far from the noise of the city or street traffic. We enjoyed our lunch here, the only downside was the waiting time to get some additional drinks (and in the end we got something different then ordered ...). Biergarten is great, service, food and atmosphere also. Located next to huge hiking, biking, running paths through the forests. Great break from the city.

I absolutely loved this hotel stay and wish I would’ve stayed longer. The outdoor seating area wasn’t open but it looked fabulous and the staff was superb and extremely friendly. Very close to a nice hike in the woods and quiet. The ONLY complaint I have is that I wanted a bathtub in my room but it really want that big of a deal.. I would definitely stay here again

The area itself is nice and quiet. A starting point for hiking in the forest. Food in the restaurant is also good and affordable.

Centre of town, high quality affordable hotel

The hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful. Rooms were neat and clean although the glass shower that looks out into the room would be a little awkward if you had family travelling with you. Definitely recommend.

Chic rooms and great parking. This is a good location in the center of Kaiserslautern, with great access to the square and fest area. This hotel has air conditioning and comfortable beds. The bathroom is very exposed, with glass doors and walls in the shower... It might be awkward traveling with friends or extended family.

The hotel is close to the main station it takes you almost 5 minutes to walk there. The first room I got was kinda smelly... I think someone smoked in there before I got there. It was my first time using the hotel and it was okay, I feel like I got the last available room. I will like to try it again some other time. The WiFi was good and room was cosy but no heating system or maybe I didn't notice it because I was too tired and cold. The beddings kept me warm.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and since it doesn’t have a lounge they give you a voucher for a drink and snack. Fest was going on right behind the hotel and the streets were busy, but you couldn’t hear much inside the room which was pleasant. Breakfast was ok, very typical and the blueberry waffles were intriguing. Good stay overall.
