Had a one night stop over and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Ivan was especially understanding and couldn’t have been more accommodating as my child was unwell and made us feel a lot less frantic which we really appreciate. Thank you again!

This place has been here for over 25 years serving the American military. What can I say, as the breakfast is the best with eggs, sausage, bacon and yes salmon. They do have fresh cut fruit and tasty coffee. The rooms are large with ac, fridge, and microwave.

We use this hotel regularly as they are very welcoming and a pleasant place to stay.

Very quiet and convenient hotel.

Stayed at the Circle Inn for three nights in December for a business trip. The hotel is very conveniently located, offers fantastic service, very clean and spacious rooms and a great breakfast! Will definitely return.

Does the job for a quick night stop, Bed creak. The Rooms are clean and do the job. Nothing special, but just what I needed for a night's stop. Beds are low and creak a bit.

I was on a road trip through Germany/France and needed to wash clothes so I stayed here. Very nice room with lots of fans/hangers and they had washer/dryer on-site so I could wash my clothes. The restaurant they are connected to is amazing with their own roasted coffee and homemade dishes.

Great location, only complaint is no railing on windows to open all the way to let in fresh air with pets in the room, can deal with no AC but not being able to open window is rough where the shingle heat just goes straight back in the room. The best burgers in the kaiserslautern area period they import their beef from the United States. It's a little bit of a high price to pay for a cheeseburger, but highly worth it. The staff is friendly, all speak English, and if you ask for it, will give you tap water for free .

Lovely "German village" setting. Older hotel - 5 stories, no elevator and we were on the 5th floor. AC wasn't working in middle of the summer. Had to change hotels. The staff were very understanding.

My husband and I stayed at the Goldinger for 4 nights while visiting Landsthul , Heidelberg and Ramstein. The staff was extremely accomodating , especially helping us to get a taxi to the base for departure, The inn is so cozy! We will be back!

A good B&B near to Ramstein. I had a comfortable room, complete with fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable and I had a great shower. The breakfast was good. Plenty of free parking outside. The wireless was not great which was the only downside. I'd stay here again if in the area.

We have stayed here for extended periods of time. This is the only hotel in which I will stay. The innkeeper, Michael, does a wonderful job of making you feel at home and helping you to find your way around. He has a wonderful staff and we definitely felt like family.

We are currently staying here while PCSing at landstuhl. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the hospital and is located right next to a super market and a few restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your stay and provide washer and dryers as well! This hotel has no air conditioning. Fans are usually fine for Europe, but the room only had a table fan. The shower was so small, turning around turned the water off. The hotel is near trails, Nanstein Castle, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was kind. This stay would be more tolerable in the winter.

Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly.

The property is very beautiful and well kept. While the sound buffering between the rooms wasn't optimal, the hotel was relatively quiet. The homes were nice and clean. Ordered lunch to go for our anniversary - even boxed up, the presentation was lovely! And the flavor - oh my - so delicious! As one who can’t eat gluten, what a delight to find a restaurant with a dedicated GF restaurant and to enjoy CROQUETTES, which I haven’t been able to eat for the past two years. Everything was amazing! This super authentic and quaint hotel is located a 10-15 minute walk up to the ruins of a historic castle and about a 15 minute drive to downtown Kaiserslautern. Only speaking for the restaurant here, but it is by far Top 3 in the Kaiserslautern area for me. The food (vegetarian and meat dishes alike) and the wine are outstanding. The tavern-feel of the interior maintains so much character. Any time my wife and I have something to celebrate, we are sure to come here. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Owner can be difficult, pushy almost. We would set an appointment, then he would bug my wife to no end about the time, or changing the time, or this or that. He also messed up the VAT form, or he was dishonest about the price in the first place. I still haven't figured out which. However, the apartment was decent and right next to the lake.

Staying at hotel frohlech We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. Our very clean double room on the 2nd floor was ok but we had an end unit and lots of street noise. No air conditioner or fan so it was a trade off between noise and fresh air. I have visited Kaiserslautern several times and I have always stayed at this hotel because Il love the location, the rooms and the polite staff. The last time I was, two weeks ago, I was very impressed by the fresh renovation and the new country style furniture.

Although it on the outskirts of the city it is a lovely, friendly hotel where you are made to feel really welcome. The rooms are kept really clean and well maintained. It is quite close to the University and about a 10 minute walk from the station. You have to walk into the city for food. About a 20 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Was my first time to Germany and was there for work. The hotel was very nice and the couple who own and run it gave it a nice Bed and Breakfast feel even though it is a nice full size hotel. I will definitely stay there again if I travel to the area in the future.

Easy check in rooms exactly as the website, beautiful modern 1 bedroom suite; downside no real closet space to hang your clothes only two bedside closets for foldable clothes and a 1/2size comforter. Beautiful hotel. Only spoke to staff on phone to get check in instructions. They were easy but had trouble locating the room, there was no number on the door. Our room was perfect for our family of 5 with 2 little kids, they even had a pack n play ready. Would definitely stay here again.

Fits the need Second time staying. Small room, but enough for one person. Heat works, everything was clean, extension cords and a fridge.

Hotel was fine - location was nice, just outside of Kaiserslautern, but there wasn't much immediately around the hotel. Check-in was different - my room key was in a lockbox, with the registration card. My check-out was early in the morning so I just dropped the key in another secure box.

Piazza Cavour is a good location, near to the Centro Storico. The hosts were really kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and there was AC in it.

My room was clean and a good size. It had a small fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. The best aspects of this hotel were the location, easy access to the hotel with individual code and the host/ owner. The owner went out of his way to help and I was able to leave my case in the room all day and pick it up on the ground floor.

Very nice welcome, very nice area and comfortable rooms

I got stuck in Kaiserslautern and needed a place to stay . I stayed here and I was delighted the bed was super comfortable and the room spotless … it’s very very central so was worried about the noise but it was very quiet I thing triple glazing . The owners are super people . It’s not a big hotel so they are busy but they took the time to be very friendly .. I recommend you stay here . Dave’s tattoo

Great location in a quiet side street in the city but ideally situated for the train station and all ammenities. Clean and comfortable. The staff are fantastically efficient and super friendly. Breakfast was superb.

Simply top, cheap and very good service

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world for work. Nowhere else have I been welcomed in such a customer-friendly manner and with such flexibility of stay! A thousand thanks to the young, incredibly optimistic boss of the hotel! I can only recommend it to everyone.

Had a Christmas Party here and The hotel Staff was awesome! They provided us with everything we needed even a lactation room. Very reminiscent of a prison yet still very nice. I booked a double comfort room and it was just big enough for my 13 yr old daughter and myself.

The rooms are clean, but not very spacious, and kind of outdated. The vreakfast is rather simple, and the coffee served on each table was quite bad... The location of the hotel is fine, and there's a lot of parking. Also, the prison details (barb wires, fenced windows, and similar) will be interesting to some people, but not that much to the others (especially girls/women). Also - no gym/sauna.

The hotel was nice. The fact that it was a prison before adds to it's ambiance. You can sleep in a cell if you like. I thought this was cute. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but ok. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. Decent prices.

Overall, great experience. I would have rated it 5 stars, however, the Wi-Fi in the room was not working. I checked-in the middle of the night and the reception was very helpful. Hotel is centrally located and has ample free parking. To top it off, the free breakfast was well laided out and had a great variety. I will definitely stay again!

Astra is a very nice, very simple little hotel. No extras, but the owner keeps the rooms immaculately clean and her breakfasts are fantastic. Don't expect much in the way of luxury, but the owner does a wonderful job of making you feel welcome.

Quant, clean, and convenient. Great access to downtown (10-15 min walk) and the train station (2 min). Easy access to the multitude of military bases in the area. Simple but enjoyable let breakfast each morning - super friendly host (speaks perfect English). Only reason for 4 stars was the road noise - room overlooked busy road with lost of traffic (and occasional emergency vehicle late at night).

A well-placed hotel, easily accessible from the train station, very well maintained by the owners, with comfortable and very clean rooms, well-equipped bathroom. Breakfast was served by the hotel owner, with fresh and quality food. The owners were very friendly with the guests. Thanks!

The rooms are small but modern , location is great and the reception wonderfull I got very personal with the woman that owns the hotel she told me her life story and how she build the hotel up from what it is today . Wonderfull Strong woman

Amazing little family business hotel. Room was clean, new, warm, big enough. Bed was hard and extremely comfortable, loved it! Breakfast is not included in the price, has to be booked extra. (8,5€) It's not a typical buffet type, when you come to the restaurant, polite lady hotel owner will be glad to prepare you a coffee or tea, with some eggs, cheese, ham. You'll get it nicely served on the plate...

Incredible family atmosphere with amazing dining options. Breakfast was superb and the staff went the extra mile…smiley faces in all our drinks!

Really pleasant place, with a great beer garden, good food (reasonably priced) located in pure nature, far from the noise of the city or street traffic. We enjoyed our lunch here, the only downside was the waiting time to get some additional drinks (and in the end we got something different then ordered ...). Overall a nice experience, we'll be back again. I would mention also that it is a good starting...

Biergarten is great, service, food and atmosphere also. Located next to huge hiking, biking, running paths through the forests. Great break from the city.

I absolutely loved this hotel stay and wish I would’ve stayed longer. The outdoor seating area wasn’t open but it looked fabulous and the staff was superb and extremely friendly. Very close to a nice hike in the woods and quiet. The ONLY complaint I have is that I wanted a bathtub in my room but it really want that big of a deal.. I would definitely stay here again

The area itself is nice and quiet. A starting point for hiking in the forest. Food in the restaurant is also good and affordable.

Excellent stay. Clean room, comfy bed and large space for the room. Only thing negative is some tv channel didn’t work, however they have a HDMI cord ready already plugged into the tv for you to watch some shows from your laptop. Great stay, I will be back there

We spent one night at the Saks Kaiserslautern and had a SPA suite. Parking in the public parking garage is discounted for hotel guests. Check-in was straightforward and friendly. The suite was clean and modern: The bathroom and the terrace were great: All in all, a successful stay. We would love to come back.

The B&B is a great alternative to more expensive hotel options in Kaiserslautern. I didn't need a fancy hotel stay with a spa and all the trimmings; I just wanted to stay overnight and have breakfast. The B&B was perfect for that! Parking directions to back of hotel should be prime otherwise sat nav brings you to the front door and it means a long way to return to a right turn into the car park. Left turn-in is not allowed so need to go round the roundabout and under the rail bridge again.

The room was clean and the facilities were good. Hotels in Kaiserslautern are expensive. A hotel like this is 400 RMB per day, which is OK. There is no other way but such a hotel is already cheap in the local area. The location is good and the transportation is convenient.

Great place to stay while visiting our son stationed nearby. The breakfast buffet was always well-stocked and had a good variety of food for all tastes. The cappuccino machine was the best! All good aside from the shower drain being clogged and flooding part of the room. I had to clear up hair from the last 100 guests to fix the problem. Dried out the room with the towels. In the morning, the cleaning lady woke me up to give me a hard time for leaving wet towels in the hallway. That’s what I got for not wanting to call anyone at midnight no clean my room.
