Very charming hotel in a 18th building. So, no elevator! You have to carry your luggage up the stairs. We had a balcony facing the lake. The view was fantastic! The only downside was the noise from the passing traffic

But when the windows are closed we were not quite bothered by the traffic. No kettle for boiling hot water. They have a cozy bar at ground floor. Guess they want you to visit the bar there!

The location is okay but not lakefront. Reception is fine, the bar opens only at 5pm, and the sauna is excellent, especially the Finnish sauna with a relaxing essential oil scent, though it closes early at 8pm

The hotel looks new and modern, and being part of the Marriott Group, we had high expectations. Upon arrival, it felt more like a city hotel than a resort—small, with nothing particularly impressive in the daytime

Room size is moderate but has all basics, including bathrobes, slippers, towels, and good toiletries. Breakfast is very good for Germany, with hot dishes, a la carte options, champagne, and honeycomb

The indoor pool is small, but the spa area is relaxing. Room 124 was a corner room with a lobby parking view. Everything was modern, very clean, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable

The hotel is very new and the facilities are first-class in Europe. The rooftop bar on the 5th floor is good, and the dishes are of the same quality and price as those outside

There is a perfect Hotel for families with children traveling on the Tegernsee lake, this Hotel deserves 10 of 10 points! Top views of the lake, far away from tourist Trouble, great rooms, great Sauna, very large Park to play in for the Kids without supervision is possible, the small can almost disappear

This is the best place to stay if you want a clean room with a spectacular view of Tegernsee. Also included is one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had in our travels to Germany

To find a restaurant, you need to walk down to the lakes and then make your way back up a steep set of stairs, which takes around 20 minutes, depending on your fitness level. Taxis are also scarce in the area

While the location is beautiful, having your own vehicle would be ideal. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful during my stay, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment

The Landhotel Sonnenfeld can only be recommended. Big rooms but not all with showers. Breakfast very good, enough choice of cheese, and sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, scrambled eggs with bacon

Dinner simple, quick food, but plentiful, breadcrumbs finite, but everything was edible. We were all inclusive, so you could even take a packed lunch with you

On sunny days, guests can go biking, kayaking, or even paragliding over the beautiful Tegernsee. There are also many great dining options, both within and around the hotel

I had such a wonderful stay at Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt. The atmosphere here is calm and unhurried — everything moves at a peaceful rhythm

The entire Überfahrt staff were incredible - from the man who brought our bags to the room, the woman who steamed my wedding dress, the cleaning staff, the wait staff who worked our reception, the night manager who brought us coffee while we waited for our 5AM airport transfer - everything was perfect and every interaction was wonderful

There is a large beautiful garden with various loungers and seating with a view of the lake. Breakfast is delicious and the staff and the boss are very friendly and helpful

Good service at reasonable price

There where some toothpaste spashes under the mirror, stripes from suitcases on the wall (of course this could happen but you can see that the room needs some refreshing work) and really dirty chairs

The venue has indoor seating for around 70 guests on two floors, and is what is best described as typically bavarian, with wooden beams, walls and flooring. So it is a very charming venue for small weddings

Situated very near the beautiful lake Tegernsee, this hotel is in a great location. We had a large room with a great wrap around balcony, let down only by a very small but functional bathroom

With the town centered around wellness tourism, this hotel has the right atmosphere. Sauna, indoor heated swimming pool and close to all the city attractions. The staff all dressed in traditional Bavarian dress.

Excellent hotel, rich breakfast buffet and high quality. The head waiters was so nice and taking care of guests although the restaurant was full. Rooms are nice, quit spacious with traditional furniture.

Room was very small, old furnishings and not comfortable, after tough negotiations we got a new, nice room, it was clean and renovated. Only the TV didn't work. Breakfast was excellent, the service was also good.

Breakfast very good, plenty of parking spaces directly at the house. 2-3 very good restaurants nearby, the junior chef gives great tips! You are at the lake in 2-3 minutes

Clean spacious rooms, small bathroom, adequate and clean in quiet rural location. Heated outdoor pool was a nice touch at all times of year. Breakfast was good with ample selection all served from a very small footprint

However, our stay was marred by some significant inconveniences. The hotel was undergoing roof repairs to address leakages, which unfortunately resulted in the entire building being shrouded in scaffolding

Beds are comfortable, large and heating in winter if anything too effective so we turned most of the radiators off. 50 metres or so to the main hotel which is where checkin takes place

It has a great view of the lake and is the only hotel in Bad Wiessee with direct access to swimming. This is our go to quiet destination for relaxing. The restaurant ist very good and the prices are reasonable

Here there is a very good restaurant if you don't wish to cook, or walk about 1k to find other food outlets in the centre of Bad Wiessee. Proximity to lake is excellent

Well they can’t do anything about the weather so this time we were in our Junior Suite more than usual. It is really comfortable and of course spacious

The hotel Schnitzer was already a bit old and will definitely be renovated in the near future. Room 21 is not suitable for persons over 1. Thanks to the many sloping roofs have hit my head several times
