Great amenities for a 3-star hotel including pool and sauna, comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, had a great dinner in their restaurant, cosy bar, traditional rustic interiors, friendly staff, good place for summer or winter vacation, nice area to site-seeing. Just spent the Easter holiday there with friends and kids a neither of us wanted to go home.

My father is about to die. I asked for a change of dates to later this year. "Sorry, you booked without cancellation, no matter the reason". Don't go there. I did not ask for a cancellation or refund. Just a change of dates. But profit is more important than empathy. Their response? "The health of your father is not our responsibility".... I rest my case.

The service was amazing, we went on Xmas and the staffs had arranged a special breakfast menu with a pretty looking decoration of the dining room. Ambiance of hotel itself felt a bit old but the rooms were alright. We paid 9 euros for Sauna which was great and during our stay we also made use of the pool. Be aware that there are very few car charging stations in the area and the closest super charger is 70ish kms away so plan accordingly.

We had an excellent stay at hotel Niedersfeld. Very friendly and accommodating staff, superclean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast, great Wi-Fi and even a spa! To some the ambiance may feel a bit outdated but we loved the atmosphere, as the place has a great 70s vibe and it's very well kept. Do check out the Kegelbahn!

I had a great time over there, if you are searching for a good hotel with nice people and great service. Go to Hotel Niedersfeld-Winterberg. And you have a great view out of your hotel room.

Very quaint restaurant, really old German style interior but that actually made it a really interesting place to eat. The food was great: we shared the camambert as an entrée and had the ochsenbacke and ragout as a main course. It was all very delicious as the meat was cooked well and the dishes were all full of flavour.
The prices are moderate and definitely good value for money and above all the staff was super friendly.

Absolutely lovely! Friendly service, very accommodating, informative, food great in the 'Stube' and very cosy, altogether excellent. Will definitely stay here again!
