The pros - close to the main train station and a shopping mall.
The cons - gross. The room was old and dirty, the elevators and hallways were dim and creepy. The neighborhood definitely did not feel very safe.
There's some important notices when I'm staying in this hotel:
1. The area is unsafe, there's a couple of strangers and homeless people walking around this area, yelling in midnight and driving their cars with soundtracks, which was rly rly annoying.
2. The management was in chaos, I have no idea why they need to make up the room in such a time that some individuals may still having their sleep(around 930am), the staff is talking and laughing loudly and I was awake because of this **** issue. I worked so late around 3am for my works and fall asleep in around 4, it was totally unacceptable to annoy their customers in this way, absolutely genius!
It taught me a lesson, low ratings hotel stand for reasons to themselves, avoid bristol hotel, unless you wanna listening to those cyberpunk music and homeless guys talking at night.
Upon my company booking the hotel I was anxious considering all the reviews I have read, however the hotel was fine.
The neighborhood isn't the best one, you'll feel the smell of weed around the hotel, but it didn't feel unsafe.
The rooms were a bit rugged, but the sheets were clean, the bed and pillow comfy, there were no spiders, roaches etc.
The worst part of the rooms was definitely the carpets, so bring your slippers.
Staff was really nice, and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety!
