Bristol Hotel Frankfurt City

The first room we were put is had large stains in the carpet and I the walls. And the second room was only slightly better. We didn't have any hot water. I went to the front desk and they called a repair technician, but by the next morning we still didn't have any hot water. The people at the front desk tried to be helpful, but I had to get a friend to help me get them to agree to cancel the reservations for the following days.

I would not stay here again. The area is dangerous, with drug use and trafficking (including crack) even during the day. At first glance, the room appeared to be clean, but I found a bottle and a pair of panties (yes, panties) under the bed. The staff is friendly, except for the lady I checked out with, who was a bit rude. One of the positives, however, is that access to the station is very easy.

Do not stay here. Rude manager but staff were polite and we could drop off our bags. They couldn’t understand why we were annoyed at the fact there was a private party in the bar which played EDM for 12 hours straight into the night. Awful sleep and they did not sympathise one bit. You would expect a hotel bar to have more understanding for hotel guests sleeping but they didn’t care. Avoid at all costs.

We booked through a 3rd party site and It said it was a 4-star 🌟 hotel on their website that eased my mind.

As soon as we arrived, it seemed inviting, but that was about to change. I booked a double occupancy, but the receptionist said all he had was a standard bed since he was all booked out. We took it thinking we could make it work.
Walking to our room, we noticed stains in the corridor and hallways reeked which were also dark .Pictures on website are staged and are far from reality.

This is more like a 1 to 2 star hotel and 3rd party should reevaluate the rating on their website. For every 1 star review there is a 5 star ratings that are fake. I would think twice before booking here.

AVOID this place, if you are not German.
I had extremely bad experience with this hotel. It is staffed with racist personal who will look down upon non Europeans....

I travel frequently to Frankfurt for work. In fact I have used this hotel 5 times previously, mainly because it is convenient for me to commute to. This is second time I have experienced rude and frankly racist behaviour from the front desk.

The receptionist refused to acknowledge me or great me. No eye contact, no smile, and it looked as if she was hurting just by serving me, to check me in.

When she did check me in, I was allocated a small dingy single room(when I had booked a premium rate room option via British Airways Holidays). I went went up to my room, and having seen the shoebox room, promptly came back to reception to object. I tried to explain, showing my BA booking confirmation, that I had booked a standard double room. Honestly it was not a big deal, and I would have considered accepting the room had it not been for the rude behaviour of the receptionist. She again avoided me and refused to talk to me or listen to me concerns. When I confronted her saying that her behaviour was unacceptable and she was being rude she shouts that "there are certain type of people whom I don't speak to". I am not European and I know when I see racist behaviour. It was shocking to be subjected to this in front of all the staff and other guests.

I reached out to BA Holidays ( these are the times when I realise how far BA has come in terms of customer service) and they promptly contacted the hotel manager(which failed to acknowledge or resolve the issue ) and then, later, refund my booking fee at their own expense.

I ended up walking out of the Hotel and booking another one nearby.

The parking is hard to find and not attached to the hotel. The rooms are very small and dirty. There is empty bottles in the hallways on the floor. Would not recommend.
