Beach clean and cosy, excellent beach restaurant with breakfast at the beach. Pool clean and well maintained, water sometimes a little bit to hot!, rooms cleaned daily,towel service and cleaning by room maid. Many moskitos. Excellent hotel to relax . Best beach bar in town of the 5 right on the beach from portillo side to ballenas side....pricing and service best on average... Mosquito beach bar way down other side too but bit higher pricing...

I enjoyed my experience here. Nice pool and rooms are clean. Overall good experience. I did find comparable better priced hotels a little farther from the beach.

Good place for vacations

Perfect getaway and feels like home but better.

The room was good, but the bathroom tiny. They don’t have breakfast. It’s not a hotel as I’ve seen it advertised somewhere. It’s like an Airbnb. The residence is big so recommend driving. The person at checkin was nice. I think it’s better than a Samana which will cost you a leg.

A series of excellent villas, most on Airb&b, fully-furnished rentals. We have stayed in 2 of them on different occasions. Low noise during the day and zero tolerance during the night. 4 pools, gym, a cross the street from the beach. Mosquito Restaurant just 3 minutes away and a restaurant just 1 minute away (both on the beach).

Beautiful place, very helpful staff. From checkin to checkout everyone was polite and really made us feel welcome. We lost a few items at the pools which they proactively looked for and brought to the reception. Beautiful beach with a lot of play areas, and the pools are nice. Try Porto across the street, and the Mosquito bar close by. Careful Mosquito has a few different places around, don’t get them...

Spacious and clean. Pool is very large and perfect to swim in. Breakfast Buffet is good and they make eggs to order. Staff is helpful and kind.

Hotel is clean, well taken care of, and has all amenities needed. Pool is very good and beach is a few steps away. Special kudos to the ladies at the pool bar.

LOVE this place. Their spa is wonderful. I use their waxing service which uses home crafted natural sugar wax! Mani and pedis are also lovely on the covered terrace next to the turtle pond.

Big, stylish, very clean, spacious, complete kitchen. The welcome was very organizes and were expecting us just in time, the beach is very close by, access to a big pool and restaurants close by too. All the linens were included and in our first floor a lovely patio with Bbq and a jacuzzi for 2. Small tvs but is the least you want to do when in Terrenas!!! We throughly enjoyed our stay! Accommodations were wonderful and just as described. Danny the chef was amazing, we opted to stay in most evenings to have dinner at home rather than eating anywhere else!

Absolutely gorgeous setting, the penthouses are high in the treetops, with a great view from the living room with it's stacking sliding doors and rooftop terrace with an even better view and jacuzzi. Great breeze all day long, birds chirping, wonderful. Breakfast is made in your kitchen and it was delicious.

Quick resolve by staff to our queries, standing out were Hugo and Pedro Pablo. In general all staff is very friendly and forthcoming. Our two bedroom suite was very ample and in good shape, except maybe the furniture on the terrace

If you are looking for an exclusive and opulence in Samana, look no further. Great restaurant, beach and pool area. Close to everything yet far enough to have privacy for couples or family. Highly recommended.

A little paradise! It's beautiful at Villa Eva Luna. We had a wonderful time. Great plants and flowers grow everywhere. The pool is beautiful and you can spend the whole day there. Simply great! Aude is doing a great job here, we felt very comfortable! It was perfectly clean and the breakfast was very good! The quiet location with the pool is also very relaxed! We'd love to come back :-)

The location was the biggest plus. The main road is very noisy any time of the day. The hotel was close to the main road, but quiet and private. The hosts and the staff were friendly and helpful.

My partner and I arrived on the first day when El Rincon de Abi transitioned to the new owners. We had a very good experience and nice talks with the new owners. They are very friendly and motivated and they have very ambitious and creative ideas to change the place. We look forward to going back to las Terrenas and visiting El Rincon de Abi in the future.

We had a very good stay here. Omar and his wife are very nice and pleasant people who take good care. Very good breakfast was included. The rooms are clean and the pool is sweet! All in all a very good atmosphere.

It is definitely not as Booking.com shows. The small apartments have very bad ventilation and no aircon included. The place is really far from the beach and the neighborhood doesn't look nice at all.. I was walking alone at night without issue but it didn't feel nice. The owners weren't very welcoming, but definitely care about getting money. There are nicer places on the beach for the same price range

This place is a little paradise . We checked in a bit late and the staff was there to welcomed us . Beautiful clean room and we could see banana trees from our balcony . And the rooms are cheap!! Great quality /price . We will be back for sure .

I loved this place. It's beautiful, quite (no loud music around), and the staff is helpful. It's perfect for couples. The only shortcoming is the location. As a solo traveller I didn't like to go back home alone in the night. Neighbourhood seems quite but the street is not well lit and there's no-one around

We stayed here in July 2016. The owners were very hospitable. We were in a self contained room with a kitchen. We were able to leave our car in the yard and we felt safe the entire time. I would stay here again.

A very good place to stay some nights, relatively near to the beach, comfortable and friendly people. I was 1 night and I enjoyed of they jacuzzi, air-conditioning and comfortable rooms.

We just got back from Las Terranas! We stayed with a group of friends (four couples) at the Albachiara. Two couples had their own room and we shared a two-bedroom room with another couple. All the rooms were clean and super cute! We especially loved our two-bedroom. Very unique, nice little decorative touches, breezy and comfy patio, and really nice pool. It's an amazing place surrounded by nature. The whole complex has a river filled with animals running below it which is pretty neat. Only reccomendation would be to bring your reppellant since at night mosquitoes get fiesty in las Terrenas

We had such a good time. My kids loved the large pool. It was so spacious and not crowded. The beach was only a few yards away from the pool. Everything was kept neat a d clean from the common areas to the apartments. I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly kind and understanding. I plan to go back.

Excelent place to stay if you have the chance, the beach is beautiful, the building are with an eco-friendly design, leaving the mangrove swamp as it is and constructed around them, pretty close to las Terrenas beach and a few really good restaurant. The only downside is that the beach club doesn't sell breakfast nor dinner and that the are no signs to know where things are (got lost a few times)...

Do not rent this place for long term stays if you are working remotely. - The Wi-Fi is terrible. Video calls were impossible. As a result we had to use Claro SIM cards for which we payed ourselves. A very nice residence, in a convenient location, few steps away from the beach and the town center. The appartment was relly quiet, clean and well equipped. Nice rooms and a kind owner. The toilets are a bit small and the neighbours are currently constructing a new building (from 8 am to 9 pm). Everything else was okay.
