The property was ok. The food was ok. There were termites in our room and on the bed due to the cheap wood used on the furniture. The staff took care of it right away but I don’t plan on staying here during our next visit to Las Terrenas. The pool was the best part.

Staff was amazing. A few glitches of inconvenience with the facility like water was out for half a day. Other than that, please place to just relax

We had an awesome time at this resort. We loved the beach, the layout of the hotel and the friendly staff. My favorite part was that there were a lot of cats in the grounds.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, but somewhat outdated. I loved the beautiful beach and huge pool. I am going to miss that beach with crystal clear turquoise water. They have a vast variety of food options in the buffet. Their food is also top quality. This resort has so many activities that it’s impossible to get bored.

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. It was a bitter sweat experience but overall happy we got to visit such beautiful place.

Spectacular sunsets over a sea so calm it could virtually be a mill pond. The tranquillity of the sea is matched by that of the point itself, palm fringed, rarely many people and no traffic noise. An ideal spot from which to contemplate the sunset in all too rare peace and quiet.

It’s beautiful. But is like a hidden beach so it Took me a few minutes to find it. Is gorgeous breath taking. However there’s really nothing around but villas. I recommend, (if you’re a not staying in the area) bring food and water spend the day and watch the sunset.

Takuma Boutik was the perfect place for our visit to Las Terrenas. The hotel was stunning and very tranquil. The staff was so incredible and kind, they even gave me a couple of DR avocados to take home. I highly recommend staying with Takuma Boutik!

Great stay at Takuma! Beautiful property, nice staff and delicious breakfast. The only reason I didn't get 5 stars is because I thought it was a little pricey considering its not directly on the beach. But we had a fabulous stay and enjoyed it very much.

Bueno, bonito y barato. Is very clean comfortable to spend a night or two, the pool is great and they have hot water. Is very pretty looking. But on the day we stay (Saturday) the music was loud from the other guest, They had music until maybe 12 pm.

Beautiful location ( restaurant ) with great food and👌drinks. VEGAN food available. -homemade vegetables soup. -burritos -the freshest juices in town. You can Chill out during the day or have some drinks at night.

The staff is amazingly friendly. The rooms are great. No AC but ceiling fans we're fine. Hot water, tv's. etc. It's not a big place. But it has a pool and a bus that takes you into town. The Hotel is a short drive from the beach. The complimentary breakfast is alright. Eggs, toast, cereal and Juice. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I Did not see any cats though.

Very stylishly designed and well looked after hotel. Yummy food. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool is gorgeous, but the pool cleaning seems to be a challenge sometimes (on two days out of 5, the water had a milky colour, so PH balance wasn’t right).

Super quiet and quaint boutique hotel. 26 rooms very well appointed. Rooms are very comfortable, has a roof top bar, lounge and pool area.

The service was wonderful and kind, the rooms were beautiful- but with a motion censored A/C, it was difficult to sleep well and the food was cooked to order, so took a bit longer, but was reasonable.

Replying to the review of Mariangela below that warned of the place. I stayed there at the same time as her, I know this because the owner told me they threatened to call the health authorities. I couldnt disagree more with her. They were a group of 18 people expecting a all-inclusive experience, when the hotel does not have a lot of common space or extra services (like breakfast or room service)....

Hotel Atlantis was amazing. It’s a very quiet hotel with a beautiful property full of trees and plants, located right on the beach and beach path. The staff was fantastic. They arranged taxi services for us, and the housekeeping team was incredible—going above and beyond each day to keep our room spotless. There are lots of great restaurants and drinks just steps away. We’ll definitely be back soon

The good : The location is nice, the hotel is beautiful. The bad: The beach front of the hotel isn't much to write home about especially considering the dirty sun beds and the beach in general in front of the hotel. I did not stay at the hotel, I was a patron of their restaurant and it was wonderful, many fans which helped make up for the fact that it is open. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach with lots of seating/sunbathing options. The food and drinks at the restaurant are delicious. The environment is calm, relaxing and their staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are super clean. The front desk staff is not the friendliest though. That is something to improve. The lobby is easy to miss when you walk in as well.

We were a group of 14. We think this is a very good option in their price range. I would recommend having more control over the dogs laying around the property. They were all friendly, but for some people this could be unappealing.

My wife and I enjoyed the property. There were a few minor improvements that could be done to enhance the appearance such as the roof tiles in the room with the ocean view. But besides that, we enjoyed our stay.

Was there to celebrate my cousin's 50th birthday. The owner and staff are the absolute best -- super friendly and accommodating. I'm one who enjoys the simple things in life and I was truly in my element. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to go back in September to celebrate my aunt's birthday!

This review is for the restaurant. Many different options to choose from. Seafood, meats, pizza, etc We went there back to back because of how much we liked it the 1st time. Our dishes were octopus, shrimp and pizza. Friendly staff and good music as well. Very affordable and dinner for 5 was about $4,300 pesos. Will definitely be back when come back to Las Terrenas.

Great location for a nice getaway! Bed is perfect to sleep, room is spacious. Shower can be improved, it’s warm without enough pressure. Breakfast is simple but good, taste of scrambled eggs are perfect! Service of the staff is good, maybe a bit shy in the restaurant. You can walk along the beach to Escondida (find the bush path) and the other way up to Coson. All together I can recommend this place

This hotel was ok. Staff was nice, but the hotel is lacking. The AC was really good, beds were decent, room was clean.They provided a small and flat soap, 1 for 4 of us. Parking there is a nightmare, barely 4 spots for the entire hotel.

The problem with this hotel is that other guests usually make parties and play loud music and you can not rest. Also you can hear people walking in the halls. It is one of the lowest rate in Las Terrenas. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

Nice atmosphere, service was very good, ordered Pizza and Red Wine. Pizza was good, not special but certainly not bad. Ingredients did not seem fresh and sauce tasted from a can but most pizzas in this town are like that.

Great friendly staff. We got the big suite with a private jacuzzi. Great amount of space and we had about 7 people us. It’s a perfect location. Right in front of the beach and local restaurants.
