Las Terrenas, El Limón, km. 4 🧭 Map
Beautiful resort, the food was fantastic. Staff were good and friendly but not many had very good English. You can walk on the beach for miles and miles. About 25 minute walk down the beach towards Las Terenas you come to a cool restaurant and bar called El Mosquito. We were there Nov 2025 and will be going back next year. Excellent resort for all ages. Book here, you won't be disappointed!
The resort grounds are beautiful and so we'll kept! The rooms are very spacious and clean, theyre just dated and it's showing it's age. The staff are FABULOUS, from the moment they arrived they were great. The buffet food was just okay and after a week it gets to be a bit much, saying that the restaurant itsrlf is lovely and having the a la carte options for 3 nights is great and the restaurants were...
Great location, near town if you want to go and explore. The beach is beautiful, those bright blue waters that I think everyone wants to see in their life! There are areas in the resort that are louder and more energetic if that's your vibe - for us we wanted to be in quieter areas, and there was space for that. There's a quiet pool for anyone that doesn't want the craziness of the big pool at the...
I visited this hotel at the beginning of October 2025 with my family. We upgraded our room to be closer to the pool and buffet restaurant, which I highly recommend for guests with reduced mobility. However, the air conditioning in the room was not very effective; it was quite hot and made it somewhat difficult to sleep at night. The buffet restaurant was excellent, offering a good variety of dishes...
The entertainment staff was amazing specially Victor. The staff is what makes this hotel good to go to as there are amazing. The property in beautiful The beachbis amazing the pool is clean, the sports bar is great to relax and have drinks. But I will say the rooms are very outdated ac wasn't working in our 1st room and had a horrible odor .. our 2nd room was slightly better but had a bad sewer odor...
The property was ok. The food was ok. There were termites in our room and on the bed due to the cheap wood used on the furniture. The staff took care of it right away but I don’t plan on staying here during our next visit to Las Terrenas. The pool was the best part.

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. It was a bitter sweat experience but overall happy we got to visit such beautiful place.
Our first visit was a 2 week stay. Wish we could have stayed a month or more. Great facility. Huge and spacious. Amazing beach. Room had private plunge pool. Was fantastic. Plenty of daily entertainment..every day.. Food was great. Overall service from management to food server was great! Rebooked for another two weeks this coming October 2024. This resort is most Definitely a winner for enjoying...
This is the first time we have chosen the Dominican Republic for our holiday. Not having the slightest experience in this republic, we honestly chose the presence of a beautiful beach and were right. In addition, what was our surprise upon arrival that this particular hotel was only for adults (without children), for us specifically this was a BIG plus, since we did not see such a description of the...
The resort is small and beautiful. The workers are super friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice eventhough one of the jacuzzi's was not working. The beach is probably one of the cleanest and more beautiful beaches I have ever visited. Unfortunately the food was mediocre. It was tasteless and not much of a variety. I expected more for the price. I paid extra for a bungalow so that I can have...
Loved this place! So peaceful and fun at the same time. It's not too big so after some days you start feeling as a big family. The entertainment team is simply the best! I want to be back pretty soon. This time we stayed at a bungalow, but it wasn't worth it so we'll stay at the main building. Suggestions: provide information on arrival about available tours. We wanted to go to Los Haitises but...
Some of the workers were amazing such as Marcel who gave us an amazing archery and kayaking experience and the bartenders Edison, Luis Daniel and David and in general the bartenders in the main bar were nice and made good coffee but there were many issues during our stay especially on our last night such as ordering room service and not receiving it after over 3.5 hours and being hung up on after calling...

Clean rooms, attentive staff, great area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the beach
Well run, well maintained small hotel in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the downtown area. But, not so close to the main drag that you hear all of the loud motos and ATVs. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are not overly large, but are very comfortable. The area is a little off the beaten path, but more interesting for that reason. We ran into...
Service here is phenomenal. The people working here are very sweet and attentive to anything you need. Breakfast is included, and it's from 7-10:30 a.m. It was the highlight of my day since the young men cooking are very sweet and make omelets with much love. There are many other options you can enjoy. It is a short walk from the beach, and there are various beaches along the coast of Las Terrenas...
Very cozy & Pleasant small hotel. The place sits in the back area of the center of Las Terrenas, about 400-500 FT from the beach. The rooms are well appointed & have everything you need, there are a total of 10 rooms? This place is good for those seeking a quiet Yoga like setting. Lots of vegetation, nice pool area. Luis, the caretaker is extremely nice & highly attentive to our requests. He cooks...
Everything was amazing definitely will be returning
Rincon de Abi was a wonderful stay. Kamilah, Omar and staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive to our needs as guests. The rooms are remodeled with much attention to detail. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Saman Boutique Hotel with my two friends. When the taxi pulled up outside, I must admit I was a little put off by the surrounding area; I needn’t have worried! We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff and the hotel itself definitely wowed us all. The garden terrace with pool was like a little oasis and was a lovely area to unwind with a drink or two! Whilst...
Quiet little hotel, great pool area, great service, good breakfast... but the lunch/dinner menu is limited and way too expensive for the quality of the food. We ended up going to Porto by Mosquito instead since it was the same price bracket and the quality was waaay superior.
Fantastic service, room was exceptional and I would stay again! However nothing really in reach by walking - it is ok if you have a car.
Comfortable. Good breakfast with good choice of food. Attractive pool area, unheated pool. Location halfway between old town and seafront, both reached by 92 bus in the next street along. Metro station close by. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. It’s a small but good hotel.
Beautiful concept but missing authenticity. Service is lacking a bit of attention. Bathroom needs maintain.
We had an exceptional experience at Saman. The ambiance, room, decor and food were all special, but above all, the staff were the star of the show. Truly kind, helpful people who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From Yaqueury at the front desk, to Jose Luis the Chef and Jenci the waiter, to our room maintenance staff, everyone was amazing. We highly recommended Saman for any couples...

My 3rd time visiting Puerto Bahia and 3rd time at Bannister, and i would always stay at Bannister and recommend it.
This hotel is beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Perfect Forrest and relaxation.
Loved it Highly recommend! There was a bit of a confussion with our reservation and we were given an upgrade, a couples massages and 10% discount in our meal fot the inconvenience.
The hotel staff clearly made the stay a must come back experience.
The view was beautiful and the place super quiet. Great place to relax, good food and drinks.
We enjoyed our stay at the Bannister. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the food at the restaurants exceeded my expectations and the view of the sunset was beautiful. We all wanted to stay another day.

Amazing Food and great prices compared to the other spots in the area
This is great hotel at an outstanding location. My first trip to the Dominican Republic could not have been better. The beach and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. Service is friendly and the food is amazing. I had the two meals per day plan, which was more than enough for me. There was a wide selection of food options wih new items added every day. The sandy beach is simply beautiful and clean...
Really enjoyed our visit at this resort. Pleasant and clean accommodations, wonderful staff, beautiful scenery and quite decent food. Being close to town, (short, easy walk from resort) was great. Definitely felt safe doing this. Would stay again.
It's a paradise with a serene landscape. Excellent location and view, a must go. Outstanding service by the reception staff and the manager. It was a pleasant experience. Food was much better than any other place in the region. I am a strict vegetarian and to my surprise they had very good variety of veg food, you just have to explain your requirements to them. Having said that, my advice is that you...
We enjoyed our stay. Samana is a beautiful small town with mountains, green trees and beautiful bay. And this hotel is on the best location. We love the stunning view from balcony, as well as walking distance to town. The package price we paid was so great, plus the email about services changes, we're expecting a quiet stay in paradise. We didn't like the idea of over eating/drinking at all inclusive...

Our overall stay was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived at approximately 2pm but our room was not ready, so we were checked in, our luggage held, and were told we could go to the buffet (all-inclusive) and use the resort. Room was big, clean, and had an incredible view! The beaches were gorgeous & staff cleaned area daily, including any Sargassum. The buffet was open...
Please bring back animation & increase your dining options. Certain staff needs to be trained on how to treat guest particularly the pool bar.
In my opinion, there is a great staff whish is good for all customers, they makes me feel welcomed during. Y stances. In addition, my mother and I, will recommend for others, especially my family, because, one of the benefitsis the Spa, this was a greater of all things that we enjoyed, so thanks again. Afterwards, we went to relax and we received the best assistants. As sum up, in this hotel every...
This property is very nice,, the small refrigerator doesn’t get cold at all,, and ice is very scarce there. I called Room service twice in two nights asked for ice to have for my warm drink, water, or soda and they said that the bar didn’t have ice.. I really wanted a cold drink with my dinner those night,. The facility is a very nice place, but just need to upgrade on those few situations.
This hotel is for relaxing. They have daily lounge hours when they bring in a singer at night (around 8-10pm). The pool closes at 7pm but we had plenty of pool/beach during the day. If you have food allergies, they are amazing!! Ariel and Letizia were super helpful on this. I didnt eat from buffets due to cross contamination. The first day they asked me for preferences. I could order for lunch during...
The hotel is nicely located and service staff was fantastic. Loved the pool and the beach. However, the limited food availability and sometimes quality was not great as well as locations for food, having my 82 year old mother coming down every day to olas was a challenge as there was no elevator available to take her down there.
