Such an amazing experience at this all inclusive resort. The staff was extremely polite and charming and very attentive to all of the guests. Also the villas are clean and well taken care of. Thank you to entertainment staff Rosa Lidia for always coming and speaking to us and asking about our day.

This is the second Bahia Principe we have been to. The rooms are very dated with no outlets. We’ve heard a lot of good things about this place from multiple people so we decided to stay for a week. This place is amazing. Everything about the resort is great. The staff are pleasant and love to help! There are so many things to do and the beach, the water… let’s just say we never made it into any of their beautiful pools. We spent all day by the water. The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. I went to Las Terrenas with my wife and our kids without booking any place beforehand and we found Castillo Romano by chance. The service was so great that next time we visit we're staying there. The owner is very diligent and the staff is kind and welcoming. The whole facility is spotless and since the hotel is on top of a hill, the view is incredible. Highly recommended.

I had a very nice stay at Castillo Romano. Morena and Teo were fantastic and the owner helped organize a going-away lunch for a couple I had spent the week with. It is very peaceful on a hill and yet is not more than a 10-minute walk to the beach . I'm looking forward to my next visit and I would definitely stay here again!

My partner and I arrived on the first day when El Rincon de Abi transitioned to the new owners. We had a very good experience and nice talks with the new owners. They are very friendly and motivated and they have very ambitious and creative ideas to change the place. We look forward to going back to las Terrenas and visiting El Rincon de Abi in the future.

Did a one night stay and was blown away by the cleanliness. Details of the decor and the great breakfast.. We had Mangu.. Which is a typical Dominican thing.. Rooms were big and well stocked with water.. Pool was modest size but clean. All amenities were clean and kept up.. Owners care about this place and you can tell.

It is definitely not as Booking.com shows. The small apartments have very bad ventilation and no aircon included. The place is really far from the beach and the neighborhood doesn't look nice at all.. I was walking alone at night without issue but it didn't feel nice. I loved this place. It's beautiful, quite (no loud music around), and the staff is helpful. It's perfect for couples. The only shortcoming is the location. We stayed here in July 2016. The owners were very hospitable. We were in a self contained room with a kitchen. We were able to leave our car in the yard and we felt safe the entire time. I would stay here again.
