Beautiful resort, the food was fantastic. Staff were good and friendly but not many had very good English. You can walk on the beach for miles and miles. About 25 minute walk down the beach towards Las Terenas you come to a cool restaurant and bar called El Mosquito. We were there Nov 2025 and will be going back next year. Excellent resort for all ages. Book here, you won't be disappointed!

I visited this hotel at the beginning of October 2025 with my family. We upgraded our room to be closer to the pool and buffet restaurant, which I highly recommend for guests with reduced mobility. The property was ok. The food was ok. There were termites in our room and on the bed due to the cheap wood used on the furniture. The staff took care of it right away but I don’t plan on staying here during our next visit to Las Terrenas. The pool was the best part.

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. It was a bitter sweat experience but overall happy we got to visit such beautiful place.

Great location in Las Terrenas. My girlfriend and I were able to walk into town every night for dinner and go across the street to watch the sunset. The room was perfect size and clean. I'll come back here when I come to Las Terrenas again.

I love this place is the third time I stay here I recommend this place is right in front of the beach. The food is great the drinks and the people that worked there is amazing. My best part was the massage.

The stay is Ok; but I believe that the prices in all that area are exageratedly high, because the soroundings, most of all the roads, are not safe, and the charges are as high and even higher than in the USA and Europe, where rules are enforced and obeyed.

It was my second time staying at Costarena. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The young lady who checked us in was very kind and responsive. our check-in process was smooth. However, our air conditioners were not working properly, and it took almost an hour for the maintenance person to come check-it out and that was after we went to the front desk to ask for an update. Good value. Comfortable stay. We were greeted in the lobby by Carmen, who was a gracious and delightful host. She arranged packed breakfast for us when we had to leave early and would miss the time. We did have to ask for things for our room. Housekeeping did not always provide. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was great. It is a good place with good value overall

Overall it was a great stay. I dont like to complaint, but i like when hotels worry more about their clients. My rooms ac was not working. I heard someone’s ac unit was leaking water.

Carmen is a star, great stay! Carmen, who worked reception, was so wonderful and nice and helped me with everything. The room was simple but had everything I needed plus a large balcony with a great ocean view!

Takuma Boutik was the perfect place for our visit to Las Terrenas. The hotel was stunning and very tranquil. The staff was so incredible and kind, they even gave me a couple of DR avocados to take home. I highly recommend staying with Takuma Boutik!

Great stay at Takuma! Beautiful property, nice staff and delicious breakfast. The only reason I didn't get 5 stars is because I thought it was a little pricey considering its not directly on the beach. But we had a fabulous stay and enjoyed it very much.

Wonderful and beautiful resort with amazing staff. The breakfast is amazing. We were here for their Mother’s Day. The grilled buffet included seafood, ribs, fruit and vegetables. Delicious pastries available also. The staff makes sure your stay is everything you could ask for. Restaurant is lacking in taste and options for lunch and dinner.

This was a lovely place - it felt boutique and the staff were very good, kind, attentive and helpful. Being completely comprehensive, the food and the pool were not 5 stars but the beach and the service/other food options made up for it. Would def recommend and was an oasis we’d return to.

This is a lovely property with many pluses including absolute seafront location. The individual casitas are spacious and well appointed (though without basics like kettles and hairdryers.) Nice appartment but some kitchen appliances need to be replaced. A/C perfect. Be careful: there is NO jacuzzi, its a picuzzi so no hot water. No breakfast included as it is mentioned somewhere. Alivio is in walking distance to one of the best beaches in Las Terrenas Playa Puna Poppy. Good restaurants again with in walking distance east or west. Nice pool. I rented a 4 bedroom apartment and all had bathrooms. Good space, people were pleasant. Coming back for sure.
