Beautiful resort, the food was fantastic. Staff were good and friendly but not many had very good English. You can walk on the beach for miles and miles. About 25 minute walk down the beach towards Las Terenas you come to a cool restaurant and bar called El Mosquito. We were there Nov 2025 and will be going back next year. Excellent resort for all ages. Book here, you won't be disappointed!

The property was ok. The food was ok. There were termites in our room and on the bed due to the cheap wood used on the furniture. The staff took care of it right away but I don’t plan on staying here during our next visit to Las Terrenas. The pool was the best part.

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. It was a bitter sweat experience but overall happy we got to visit such beautiful place.

Takuma Boutik was the perfect place for our visit to Las Terrenas. The hotel was stunning and very tranquil. The staff was so incredible and kind, they even gave me a couple of DR avocados to take home. I highly recommend staying with Takuma Boutik!

We didn't stay here but came here and ate and got access to the beach. There is a pool and a hot tub and a restaurant which serves pretty good pizza and drinks. The beach here is wonderfully quiet and it's a nice way to spend the afternoon, eating at the restaurant and enjoying the beach.

We were a group of 14. We think this is a very good option in their price range. I would recommend having more control over the dogs laying around the property. They were all friendly, but for some people this could be unappealing.

Spectacular sunsets over a sea so calm it could virtually be a mill pond. The tranquillity of the sea is matched by that of the point itself, palm fringed, rarely many people and no traffic noise. An ideal spot from which to contemplate the sunset in all too rare peace and quiet.

It’s beautiful. But is like a hidden beach so it Took me a few minutes to find it. Is gorgeous breath taking. However there’s really nothing around but villas. I recommend, (if you’re a not staying in the area) bring food and water spend the day and watch the sunset.

The staff is amazingly friendly. The rooms are great. No AC but ceiling fans we're fine. Hot water, tv's. etc. It's not a big place. But it has a pool and a bus that takes you into town. The Hotel is a short drive from the beach. The complimentary breakfast is alright. Eggs, toast, cereal and Juice. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I Did not see any cats though.

It was a pleasure to spend few days in this hotel. The location in fantastic, near to the beach and to the city centres. The owners were very helpful and kind. I really recommend this hotel!

Great location for a nice getaway! Bed is perfect to sleep, room is spacious. Shower can be improved, it’s warm without enough pressure. Breakfast is simple but good, taste of scrambled eggs are perfect! Service of the staff is good, maybe a bit shy in the restaurant. You can walk along the beach to Escondida (find the bush path) and the other way up to Coson. All together I can recommend this place

It is definitely not as Booking.com shows. The small apartments have very bad ventilation and no aircon included. The place is really far from the beach and the neighborhood doesn't look nice at all.. I was walking alone at night without issue but it didn't feel nice. The owners weren't very welcoming, but definitely care about getting money. There are nicer places on the beach for the same price range

I loved this place. It's beautiful, quite (no loud music around), and the staff is helpful. It's perfect for couples. The only shortcoming is the location. As a solo traveller I didn't like to go back home alone in the night. Neighbourhood seems quite but the street is not well lit and there's no-one around

We stayed here in July 2016. The owners were very hospitable. We were in a self contained room with a kitchen. We were able to leave our car in the yard and we felt safe the entire time. I would stay here again.

We just got back from Las Terranas! We stayed with a group of friends (four couples) at the Albachiara. Two couples had their own room and we shared a two-bedroom room with another couple. It's an amazing place surrounded by nature. The whole complex has a river filled with animals running below it which is pretty neat. Only reccomendation would be to bring your reppellant since at night mosquitoes get fiesty in las Terrenas

We had such a good time. My kids loved the large pool. It was so spacious and not crowded. The beach was only a few yards away from the pool. Everything was kept neat a d clean from the common areas to the apartments. I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly kind and understanding. I plan to go back.

Excelent place to stay if you have the chance, the beach is beautiful, the building are with an eco-friendly design, leaving the mangrove swamp as it is and constructed around them, pretty close to las Terrenas beach and a few really good restaurant. The only downside is that the beach club doesn't sell breakfast nor dinner and that the are no signs to know where things are (got lost a few times)...
