I loved my stay and I would come back again. It’s very beautiful. The front desk staff were very helpful and I felt safe there as a solo female traveler from the U.S. The fan and AC worked great. I also got a great massage. I also loved that it was located in a quiet area.

Best resort ever the food is amazing, the shows are spectacular, and the rooms are so comfortable even including fast room service! I was there from June 18th through June 25th, 2022 with my cousin Nubia and a whole group from BAILAMAR Bachata Camp, we had a wonderful time, the food was delicious Morenita and Estela are great cooks, we went everywhere in Las Terrenas, beautiful beaches, bars restaurants, dancing places every night, very friendly people!!!!

I went to Las Terrenas with my wife and our kids without booking any place beforehand and we found Castillo Romano by chance. The service was so great that next time we visit we're staying there. The owner is very diligent and the staff is kind and welcoming. The whole facility is spotless and since the hotel is on top of a hill, the view is incredible. Highly recommended.

I had a very nice stay at Castillo Romano. Morena and Teo were fantastic and the owner helped organize a going-away lunch for a couple I had spent the week with. It is very peaceful on a hill and yet is not more than a 10-minute walk to the beach . I'm looking forward to my next visit and I would definitely stay here again!

Wow, the perfect secluded romantic getaway if you're looking to get away from the crowds and some relatively virgin beaches.

If you are looking for an exclusive and opulence in Samana, look no further. Great restaurant, beach and pool area. Close to everything yet far enough to have privacy for couples or family. Highly recommended.

Loveeeee this Town

Spectacular sunsets over a sea so calm it could virtually be a mill pond. The tranquillity of the sea is matched by that of the point itself, palm fringed, rarely many people and no traffic noise. An ideal spot from which to contemplate the sunset in all too rare peace and quiet.

It’s beautiful. But is like a hidden beach so it Took me a few minutes to find it. Is gorgeous breath taking. However there’s really nothing around but villas. I recommend, (if you’re a not staying in the area) bring food and water spend the day and watch the sunset.

Bueno, bonito y barato. Is very clean comfortable to spend a night or two, the pool is great and they have hot water. Is very pretty looking. But on the day we stay (Saturday) the music was loud from the other guest, They had music until maybe 12 pm.

The staff is amazingly friendly. The rooms are great. No AC but ceiling fans we're fine. Hot water, tv's. etc. It's not a big place. But it has a pool and a bus that takes you into town. The location was the biggest plus. The main road is very noisy any time of the day. The hotel was close to the main road, but quiet and private. The hosts and the staff were friendly and helpful.

My partner and I arrived on the first day when El Rincon de Abi transitioned to the new owners. We had a very good experience and nice talks with the new owners. Did a one night stay and was blown away by the cleanliness. Details of the decor and the great breakfast.. We had Mangu.. Which is a typical Dominican thing.. It is definitely not as Booking.com shows. The small apartments have very bad ventilation and no aircon included. The place is really far from the beach and the neighborhood doesn't look nice at all.. I was walking alone at night without issue but it didn't feel nice. The owners weren't very welcoming, but definitely care about getting money. There are nicer places on the beach for the same price range

I loved this place. It's beautiful, quite (no loud music around), and the staff is helpful. It's perfect for couples. The only shortcoming is the location. As a solo traveller I didn't like to go back home alone in the night. Neighbourhood seems quite but the street is not well lit and there's no-one around

We stayed here in July 2016. The owners were very hospitable. We were in a self contained room with a kitchen. We were able to leave our car in the yard and we felt safe the entire time. I would stay here again.
