The staff are pleasant and love to help! There are so many things to do and the beach, the water… let’s just say we never made it into any of their beautiful pools. We spent all day by the water

Considering it was a swim up bar the water seemed pretty clean with all the chlorine pumping. The beach was great, we went during the start of hurricane season (end of June) and the tide was pretty low

The bars are understaffed (especially the beach and pool bar), there were times where there would be 10+ guests and only one staff member. Jorge at the beach bar was amazing and deserves a raise

This is the second Bahia Principe we have been to. The rooms are very dated with no outlets. So we had to take turns charging devices. the main areas of the hotel have all been renovated and are very modern and beautiful

All the days we had quite decent waves but if you want calmer waters you can walk 7-10 minutes to a neighboring beach where with almost no waves

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff

This is the first time we have chosen the Dominican Republic for our holiday. Not having the slightest experience in this republic, we honestly chose the presence of a beautiful beach and were right

In addition, what was our surprise upon arrival that this particular hotel was only for adults (without children), for us specifically this was a BIG plus, since we did not see such a description of the hotel on the website

It was truly a beach paradise, the rooms are huge with 2 bathrooms, 2 televisions and large balconies with lounge chairs overseeing the beautiful pools, the food is Michelin-quality all the time and they even have daily specials of fresh catch of the day and barbecue, the staff is beyond helpful and extremely friendly, particularly Felix, Alexander and Augusto, who can't do enough for you

I give this Hotel 5 stars!!! The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and attentive! My stay included breakfast, which I must say was very tasty. The hotel has a nice big pool with outside bar and executive beach

Beautiful yet overpriced hotel. If you come for the beach - you better off staying at Coson. If you come for the comfort and fancy then you will miss expected level of privacy

They have fun excursions available for all varieties of guest, as well as yoga and tennis on site. If you're looking to recharge, get away from the noise, and immerse yourself in nature, absolutely come here

You will only be a 15 minute drive to center of it all Las Terrenas. If you are planning to stay here, i highly recommend this establishment

Look great on paper but it's the little details like low water pressure on shower, underpowered AC, NYC fancy restaurant prices for dinner quality dishes, constantly buzzing balcony Jacuzzis, incredibly slow and constantly dropping wifi

One of the best beaches in DR. One area the water is so calm it resembles a pool. Rivals Siesta Key in Florida

Spectacular sunsets over a sea so calm it could virtually be a mill pond. The tranquillity of the sea is matched by that of the point itself, palm fringed, rarely many people and no traffic noise

But is like a hidden beach so it Took me a few minutes to find it. However there’s really nothing around but villas

An ideal spot from which to contemplate the sunset in all too rare peace and quiet

I recommend, (if you’re a not staying in the area) bring food and water spend the day and watch the sunset

Time there was amazing! The apartment was very clean and comfortable, we were 4 people and the space was really good for us. Security, quite and only like 200mts from the beach. I want to go back!!!

Really close to the beach, the area is much better than any other area in Las Terrenas, apartment is big and has all you need. Very good place.

Great location right on the beach! Room was comfortable and clean. And Anita, Lucila, and Marivel took great care of us each morning for breakfast.

Beach clean and cosy, excellent beach restaurant with breakfast at the beach. Pool clean and well maintained, water sometimes a little bit to hot!, rooms cleaned daily,towel service and cleaning by room maid

Best beach bar in town of the 5 right on the beach from portillo side to ballenas side....pricing and service best on average... Mosquito beach bar way down other side too but bit higher pricing...

The houses, pool, food and drinks are unbeatable and the beach is amoung the top that I have ever seen and they are in your backyard. I highly highly recommend this place, it is friendly, welcoming and incredible

That aside the main courses we chose, fillet steak and a Spaghetti Arabiatta were excellent. These together with a good Spanish Tempranillo that we finished seated in the garden, resulted in a more than reasonable bill

Recently opened, they apologized for the seasonal high temperature and that were in the process of installing ceiling fans, which would certainly make for a more comfortable ambience

Very nice hotel for chilling & unwinding, staff is friendly, and location is prime (amazing beach front and 15 min drive from Pueblo de Pescadores a nice bohemian style beach town). Fully recommended

We had a very good stay here. Omar and his wife are very nice and pleasant people who take good care. Very good breakfast was included. The rooms are clean and the pool is sweet! All in all a very good atmosphere.

A lovely Hotel just steps to the beach but tucked away in a quiet back street. Well equipped common area with full kitchen and pool for entertaining! Reasonably priced.

We especially loved the Arcade games and the decoration of the common areas. Not to mention that the location is spectacular, just a few steps away from the beach

Only 2 things I will recommend to change: allow guests to change AC temperature in the room since for us it was too cold; Quality of soap - it wasn’t good - ran out after 1 shower

What can I say the owner were great, they treat you as family very cozy hotel, my experience was excellent I would not only recommend but I would be going their more often.

We stayed in this hotel in February 2021. Value for money is great, even breakfast is included. Owner of the place is super nice! Internet is fast, parking is free

It's neat and clean with the units surrounding a pool in a tropical setting. Close to town and beach. Construction NOISE next door from a house being built. Jan 2019.

Great spot, Maurizio and his crew are great for a quite stay and enjoy the carribbeane beaches. Totally would recommend.

Fantastic place. Room is spacious. We could cook if we want to make our own coffee. Pleasant balcony. Nice pool. Great ⛱️. Shallow, great turquoise color. 2 definitely will come back.

Hotel is clean, well taken care of, and has all amenities needed. Pool is very good and beach is a few steps away. Special kudos to the ladies at the pool bar.

Spacious and clean. Pool is very large and perfect to swim in. Breakfast Buffet is good and they make eggs to order. Staff is helpful and kind.

LOVE this place. Their spa is wonderful. I use their waxing service which uses home crafted natural sugar wax! Mani and pedis are also lovely on the covered terrace next to the turtle pond.

Beautiful resort with lots of wide spaces, a very large pool and a semi-private beach!!! Its Beach Restaurant (Porto), it is an amazing place to watch the sunset with a cold “Presidente” (local beer), and a nice lobster or fish at your plate!!! Very different experience than the typical all inclusive resorts of Bávaro/Punta Cana or Puerto Plata

Beautiful beach with a lot of play areas, and the pools are nice. Try Porto across the street, and the Mosquito bar close by. Careful Mosquito has a few different places around, don’t get them mixed up :)

4 pools, gym, a cross the street from the beach. Mosquito Restaurant just 3 minutes away and a restaurant just 1 minute away (both on the beach)

Beautiful place, very helpful staff. From checkin to checkout everyone was polite and really made us feel welcome. We lost a few items at the pools which they proactively looked for and brought to the reception

Her English was great and she answered all my questions! To be transparent, I did not actually stay at Xeliter Balcones, but I was so impressed with Mabel. I can't say enough good things about Mabel

This is a very basic hotel. A room with a tv and AC. It also has a pool but it's inexpensive and very close to the beach so it's in a good location.

Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Location was the best: close to the beach and town but quiet

The manager Irene was the most efficient, reliable and helpful person I’ve found in the whole country, making it a must-recommend place for any of my friends or relatives, and it is on the top of my list if I ever go back to Las Terrenas

This was the top accommodation of my 2-months trip in DomRep. I even came back to Hotel Brisa Mar for a second one-week stay, so pleased I felt with the quality/price ratio of the place

Good price compared to others around and almost clean but the internet doesn't work, and our sink was blocked and water couldn't pass.

The beach is just across the road, the proximity of the road a noise of the traffic is pretty much the only downside, but unfortunately this is the same for all the hotels and apartments on Punty Popy beach

Liked · The team are super friendly and profesional. Private security, cleaning team, gardeners, reception team, and minigolf cart to carry you around. The pools were great and so was the apartment

There is a restaurant and two pools on site as well as a spa and is well placed in terms of the town centre and a wide range of restaurants

) Cleaning team was good, but always seem to come after 5 pm when we were back from the beach, so it was a bit awkward to ask them to stay whilst we wanted to shower and get ready

It is a ocean front property since it is across the street from the beach but it doesn't have a beach club or direct access to the beach, I ended up going to different places to access the beach

Excellent apartments, well furnished, equipped and maintained to a high standard. The complex has a range of one, two and three bed apartments ranging up to duplexes with large roof terraces, so something for all tastes

Perfect location in the center of the beachfront strip in Las Terrenas, close to everything, beautiful pool and the living area was very comfortable

We just got back from Las Terranas! We stayed with a group of friends (four couples) at the Albachiara. Two couples had their own room and we shared a two-bedroom room with another couple

Location and resort are phenomenal. The staff were friendly and helpful. **Disclaimer-just a personal feeling here: Maybe just personally put off by the owner's attitude

It was so spacious and not crowded. The beach was only a few yards away from the pool. Everything was kept neat a d clean from the common areas to the apartments. I can't say enough about the staff

The only downside is that the beach club doesn't sell breakfast nor dinner and that the are no signs to know where things are (got lost a few times), is seems that the new administration is working on solving that so you may find this solve when you come

Excelent place to stay if you have the chance, the beach is beautiful, the building are with an eco-friendly design, leaving the mangrove swamp as it is and constructed around them, pretty close to las Terrenas beach and a few really good restaurant

It's an amazing place surrounded by nature. The whole complex has a river filled with animals running below it which is pretty neat

Only reccomendation would be to bring your reppellant since at night mosquitoes get fiesty in las Terrenas
