We had an awesome time at this resort. We loved the beach, the layout of the hotel and the friendly staff. My favorite part was that there were a lot of cats in the grounds.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, but somewhat outdated. I loved the beautiful beach and huge pool. I am going to miss that beach with crystal clear turquoise water

They have a vast variety of food options in the buffet. Their food is also top quality. This resort has so many activities that it’s impossible to get bored

All the days we had quite decent waves but if you want calmer waters you can walk 7-10 minutes to a neighboring beach where with almost no waves

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff

This is the first time we have chosen the Dominican Republic for our holiday. Not having the slightest experience in this republic, we honestly chose the presence of a beautiful beach and were right

In addition, what was our surprise upon arrival that this particular hotel was only for adults (without children), for us specifically this was a BIG plus, since we did not see such a description of the hotel on the website

One of the best beaches in DR. One area the water is so calm it resembles a pool. Rivals Siesta Key in Florida

Spectacular sunsets over a sea so calm it could virtually be a mill pond. The tranquillity of the sea is matched by that of the point itself, palm fringed, rarely many people and no traffic noise

But is like a hidden beach so it Took me a few minutes to find it. However there’s really nothing around but villas

An ideal spot from which to contemplate the sunset in all too rare peace and quiet

I recommend, (if you’re a not staying in the area) bring food and water spend the day and watch the sunset

It’s a very quiet hotel with a beautiful property full of trees and plants, located right on the beach and beach path

Wonderful beach property displaying a Spanish colonial architecture, great beach views, with a beach sidewalk shared with other restaurants and hotels to walk and enjoy a different scenery

They arranged taxi services for us, and the housekeeping team was incredible—going above and beyond each day to keep our room spotless. There are lots of great restaurants and drinks just steps away

The good : The location is nice, the hotel is beautiful. The bad: The beach front of the hotel isn't much to write home about especially considering the dirty sun beds and the beach in general in front of the hotel

There is a restaurant and two pools on site as well as a spa and is well placed in terms of the town centre and a wide range of restaurants

The beach is just across the road, the proximity of the road a noise of the traffic is pretty much the only downside, but unfortunately this is the same for all the hotels and apartments on Punty Popy beach

Liked · The team are super friendly and profesional. Private security, cleaning team, gardeners, reception team, and minigolf cart to carry you around. The pools were great and so was the apartment

) Cleaning team was good, but always seem to come after 5 pm when we were back from the beach, so it was a bit awkward to ask them to stay whilst we wanted to shower and get ready

It is a ocean front property since it is across the street from the beach but it doesn't have a beach club or direct access to the beach, I ended up going to different places to access the beach

Excellent apartments, well furnished, equipped and maintained to a high standard. The complex has a range of one, two and three bed apartments ranging up to duplexes with large roof terraces, so something for all tastes

All the rooms were clean and super cute! We especially loved our two-bedroom. Very unique, nice little decorative touches, breezy and comfy patio, and really nice pool. The staff were also very helpful and nice

We just got back from Las Terranas! We stayed with a group of friends (four couples) at the Albachiara. Two couples had their own room and we shared a two-bedroom room with another couple

It was so spacious and not crowded. The beach was only a few yards away from the pool. Everything was kept neat a d clean from the common areas to the apartments. I can't say enough about the staff

The only downside is that the beach club doesn't sell breakfast nor dinner and that the are no signs to know where things are (got lost a few times), is seems that the new administration is working on solving that so you may find this solve when you come

Excelent place to stay if you have the chance, the beach is beautiful, the building are with an eco-friendly design, leaving the mangrove swamp as it is and constructed around them, pretty close to las Terrenas beach and a few really good restaurant

It's an amazing place surrounded by nature. The whole complex has a river filled with animals running below it which is pretty neat

Only reccomendation would be to bring your reppellant since at night mosquitoes get fiesty in las Terrenas

Great stay at Takuma! Beautiful property, nice staff and delicious breakfast. The only reason I didn't get 5 stars is because I thought it was a little pricey considering its not directly on the beach

The location is a good base for exploring the wider region (by car). With under 10 rooms, it has a really nice vibe, though everyone is quite close together so it is not super private! Overall we loved our time there

The staff is amazingly friendly. No AC but ceiling fans we're fine. But it has a pool and a bus that takes you into town. The Hotel is a short drive from the beach. The complimentary breakfast is alright

Is very clean comfortable to spend a night or two, the pool is great and they have hot water. But on the day we stay (Saturday) the music was loud from the other guest, They had music until maybe 12 pm

Beautiful location ( restaurant ) with great food and👌drinks. VEGAN food available. -homemade vegetables soup. -burritos -the freshest juices in town. You can Chill out during the day or have some drinks at night.

Eggs, toast, cereal and Juice. The food at the restaurant is delicious. I Did not see any cats though

Very stylishly designed and well looked after hotel. The pool is gorgeous, but the pool cleaning seems to be a challenge sometimes (on two days out of 5, the water had a milky colour, so PH balance wasn’t right)

Cons)The beaches were not 5 minutes or even 20 minute walk away. The restaurant has a very limited menu. Had to take a cold shower a few times due to the hot water not working. DOES NOT HAVE A LAUNDRY ROOM ON SITE

Pools were cleaned and well maintained, the rooftop bar has a pool and the veiw of the surrounding mountains are insane. I really appreciated the silence and the relaxed vibe there

Super quiet and quaint boutique hotel. 26 rooms very well appointed. Rooms are very comfortable, has a roof top bar, lounge and pool area.

They offer few tours, we have done the horse ridding on the beach that was really nice and I would recommend it. We also did a private boat tour to Cayo Levantado that wasn’t nice and I wouldn’t recommend

Hotel was clean and with a nice decor. It is a good location to get to the beaches around. The staff were friendly but not many spoke English

The rooms and facilities are very clean. Casa Nina is in a great location steps away from the beach. It is intimate and quiet with a beautiful pool. The owners are lovely and there to make your stay wonderful

I couldnt disagree more with her. They were a group of 18 people expecting a all-inclusive experience, when the hotel does not have a lot of common space or extra services (like breakfast or room service)

The beach is one of best we have ever experienced--for walking, swimming, views, and cleanliness. The hotel provided an excellent beach area, with plenty of lounge chairs and shade available when needed

The attached restaurant served delicious food and the drinks were tasty. There are several sweet, apparently well-cared-for dogs at the hotel and we enjoyed their company and their playfulness on the beach

Gourgeous Hotel Gorgeous hotel on a Gorgeous beach. Spacious rooms, clean, A/C, mini fridge with water bottles. All rooms are about 100 feet from beach. Secluded beach lined with rows of palm trees

Only bar prices are a little bit high but the breakfast was really good The sea (ocean); you cannot swim because of the waves but the view was good

We think this is a very good option in their price range. I would recommend having more control over the dogs laying around the property. They were all friendly, but for some people this could be unappealing

We had a lovely time at this hotel! And the beach is gorgeous! The bathrooms could use an updating but that was just a small detail! Food was great and location on the beach was exquisite! Everything else was just perfect

You can walk along the beach to Escondida (find the bush path) and the other way up to Coson. All together I can recommend this place

Rooms, beds are full of fungus, not all toilets or baths are working. Outside is great place, great pool, great colors. Ocean has many rocks. You can see fishermen on the right side

There were so unusual moments that I have not experienced elsewhere ( no pool towel provided ,) a large dog onsite barking most of the day with other dogs, and poor internet service

The young girl at the reception who helped us checked in was very welcoming! We get there a little early before check in and we are so Thankful that they accommodated us! Also their breakfast was DELICIOUS! Great portions as well! The area is very calm! And the style of this place is beautiful!

We spent 8 wonderful days in Las Terrenas thanks to Aude's good advice for the choice of restaurants and beaches to visit. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is a little paradise in peace 500 m from the beach

Simply great! Aude is doing a great job here, we felt very comfortable! It was perfectly clean and the breakfast was very good! The quiet location with the pool is also very relaxed! We'd love to come back :-)

A little paradise! It's beautiful at Villa Eva Luna. Great plants and flowers grow everywhere. The pool is beautiful and you can spend the whole day there

Well run, well maintained small hotel in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the downtown area. But, not so close to the main drag that you hear all of the loud motos and ATVs

She made sure we knew where all the amenities were and was very sweet and sincere. There is also a pool, which isn't the biggest but very private and is open at all hours

During my stay, I was the only one using the pool from time to time since the beaches are beautiful, and most people prefer to go to the beautiful beaches in Las Terrenas

I was walking alone at night without issue but it didn't feel nice. The owners weren't very welcoming, but definitely care about getting money. There are nicer places on the beach for the same price range

It is definitely not as Booking. The small apartments have very bad ventilation and no aircon included. The place is really far from the beach and the neighborhood doesn't look nice at all

This place is a little paradise. We checked in a bit late and the staff was there to welcomed us. Beautiful clean room and we could see banana trees from our balcony. And the rooms are cheap!! Great quality /price

We stayed here in July 2016. The owners were very hospitable. We were in a self contained room with a kitchen. We were able to leave our car in the yard and we felt safe the entire time. I would stay here again.

It's beautiful, quite (no loud music around), and the staff is helpful. The only shortcoming is the location. As a solo traveller I didn't like to go back home alone in the night

Nice rooms with interesting layouts, and decent amenities like a pool and easy beach access. Found a roach in the room and cleanliness has some to be desired, but overall affordable and reasonable

Small paradise with everything in walking distance and the beach 3 min away and a small shopping Plaza and restaurant on premises.. The receptionist was a little cold but still overall a great time and un expensive

The price was good, it was cheaper than the other accomodations in the area. The hotel is right in front of the beach so that's a plus and it's close to the dining options in the area

The shape of the hotel is very unique next to the beach. There are shops right under hotel and close too many restaurants and night clubs. The pools were very and perfect area to cool off and get sun

Pool was impressive, room was neat, A/C works perfectly (not many places in DR heat work well). Able to make quick meals in the room. Good breakfast offering.

The view of sea was obstructed to by tents set up for four wheelers and motos and that’s was disappointing but all this good have been our fault since we didn’t pick perhaps best time to go

The room is quite big, and the double bed room is much more comfortable than the twin room. But the hotel is older and the facilities are older. The air conditioner can only cool but not heat

We really enjoyed the breakfast included with the stay and the croissants were amazing! The space was very big and roomy and the jacuzzi was nice to have although paint was chipping a bit you can tell they make efforts to fix things

A very good place to stay some nights, relatively near to the beach, comfortable and friendly people. I was 1 night and I enjoyed of they jacuzzi, air-conditioning and comfortable rooms.

We have spent 5 days at sergios House. Very nice family, nice appartement and wonderful Garden With jacuzzi. We can recommend it.
