5 star hotels in Las Terrenas

The property was ok. The food was ok. There were termites in our room and on the bed due to the cheap wood used on the furniture. The staff took care of it right away but I don’t plan on staying here during our next visit to Las Terrenas. The pool was the best part.

Staff was amazing. A few glitches of inconvenience with the facility like water was out for half a day. Other than that, please place to just relax

The place is great, the staff are very attentive, helpful, and full of energy. The food is very good.

We had an awesome time at this resort. We loved the beach, the layout of the hotel and the friendly staff. My favorite part was that there were a lot of cats in the grounds.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, but somewhat outdated. I loved the beautiful beach and huge pool. I am going to miss that beach with crystal clear turquoise water. They have a vast variety of food options in the buffet. Their food is also top quality. This resort has so many activities that it’s impossible to get bored.

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. It was a bitter sweat experience but overall happy we got to visit such beautiful place.

Our first visit was a 2 week stay. Wish we could have stayed a month or more. Great facility. Huge and spacious. Amazing beach. Room had private plunge pool. Was fantastic. Plenty of daily entertainment..every day.. Food was great. Overall service from management to food server was great! Rebooked for another two weeks this coming October 2024. Loved this place! So peaceful and fun at the same time. It's not too big so after some days you start feeling as a big family. The entertainment team is simply the best! At first when I got to the check in the staff was rude and didn't make me feel welcomed because I made a "late" reservation through a third party company and they didn't have any room ready for us. We just got back from Las Terranas! We stayed with a group of friends (four couples) at the Albachiara. Two couples had their own room and we shared a two-bedroom room with another couple. All the rooms were clean and super cute! We especially loved our two-bedroom. Very unique, nice little decorative touches, breezy and comfy patio, and really nice pool. Great place, I highly recommend. Close walking distance to everything. Fantastic salt water pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a one bedroom apartment. Cant say enough about the place. Would definitely stay again!

It's an amazing place surrounded by nature. The whole complex has a river filled with animals running below it which is pretty neat. Only reccomendation would be to bring your reppellant since at night mosquitoes get fiesty in las Terrenas

We had such a good time. My kids loved the large pool. It was so spacious and not crowded. The beach was only a few yards away from the pool. Everything was kept neat a d clean from the common areas to the apartments. I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly kind and understanding. I plan to go back.

Excelent place to stay if you have the chance, the beach is beautiful, the building are with an eco-friendly design, leaving the mangrove swamp as it is and constructed around them, pretty close to las Terrenas beach and a few really good restaurant. The only downside is that the beach club doesn't sell breakfast nor dinner and that the are no signs to know where things are (got lost a few times)...
