Where to stay in El Alamein

In general the experience was amazing. But room close to the beach was tiny, bed was very uncomfortable, me and my husband couldn’t sleep properly. Also I had some stomach issues during the visit either from tap water or food. Last 2 days of my stay I skipped breakfast and I felt better a bit. Food that they have except breakfast was amazing! Hotel was about 3:45 hrs from Cairo. Staff were friendly and polite with us and very helpful specially house keeping . Breakfast and dinner were excellent, delicious with lots of choices. Room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed staying in it especially it was directly on the lagoon. Beach is nice and clean.

The most beautiful beach, cyan water and white sand, not hot weather. Really like Caribbean, maybe better. Hotel is nice, luxury, but older, the bathroom a bit worn out. We visited in December, so hotel was nearly empty. We graciously got upgraded at reception (Noor) to a sea room view which was very nice. The price was very good. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the walks by the seaside. We booked HB. The dinner and breakfast were adequate. The water pressure in the bathroom is not very strong and I got a couple of ant bites when I went to sleep.

I will start first with the challenges I faced in the Hotel during my 3 nights stay. 1st problem: No clear system for arrangement of the golf car between hotel and beach. The rooms are acceptable but they have some problems such as the lack of facilities in the rooms and the blackout of the curtains is not good. We had a great time! The hotel is clean the staff are friendly and the decor is just amazing! We went September and it was off-season I would recommend visiting north cost mid summer June-August.

The place is nice and cozy. But the pools are small, one of them is not heated, the water is cold even when the sun is high. The beach isn't very good.

It's quite living to It's reputation. Porto Marina has always been the popular destination for most vacationers in North Coast. It's got the perfect complex of restaurants, cafés, trucks and kids area plus the pool and water entertainment of course. You can enjoy all of this while staying a couple of nights at a hotel room or chalet accommodations in the near gates.

Staff is very supportive and welcoming. Place is clean. Beach is nice with sand and no waves. Water sports are very near to go pick your favourite while the rest of the family resting on the beach. Shopping and pharmacy is so close . Lots and lots of activities for children including fun fair. Golf cars are available for people with movement problems.

Fitness / Gym focused review: The hotel was perfect. The beach, pool, lobby, restaurants, rooms, cleanliness and services were on point. The indoors gym was also perfect. Its a Gold’s Gym on the 4th floor and you get access with the room. I added pictures to demonstrate.

This is really an amazing hotel with great amenities. It is missing the final touch though. Stuff like air curtains at the entrances to stop flies from coming in modifying the room showers to stop the water from flooding all over the bathroom. Some rooms have highly noisy AC. In short the final touch is missing. The restaurants are amazing with great food.
