Reviews
The room we had was very nice, the bed was comfortable.
In the room there was a coffee station with a nespresso machine, a safe, a minibar etc.
I informed the receptionist that the day after we checked in was my partner birthday so we got a very nice surprise in the room .
The breakfast was super, with a great selection of food and drinks.
They have few swimming pools and restaurant to choose from.
Most of the staff was friendly and polite.
This is a great resort, however, if there was a better attention to the detail it would be even greater.
The box with coffee and sugar was messy, not tidy up or cleaned from the previous guest.
The day when we checked out we were very annoyed by the housekeeping: they come in the room while we were having breakfast (nothing wrong with that) they started to clear up the room, after the breakfast we went at the pool area and when we came back we noticed that they went in the room again... while in the room they try to come in again. it was not yet time to check out but the housekeeping tried hard to make us to go away, it was our check out day so they should just left us in peace since we did not overstay.

Staff were amazing, I wish I could remember more names to complement, but everyone was really friendly and helpful. The rooms are slightly dated compared to more modern design-led hotels, but they're comfortable, spotlessly clean, and still very nice. We were in a junior suite so all four of us could fit in one room and it was great - spacious, comfy, and a lovely balcony which was really handy with the kids.
Pools were awesome, and the public beach below the hotel was really nice and the access from the hotel really convenient and easy. Good sand for building sandcastles, nice entry to the sea for paddling with little ones when the waves weren't too rough, pleasant level of busy - felt lively without being overcrowded.
We would definitely come back for a similar holiday of relaxed pool and beach with little ones, but the hotel also looked very nice for a more adult break, with great pools and bars with lovely views.
We had two concerns before the holiday based on reading other reviews, which both turned out to be total nonsense.
(1) that even the heated pools might be cold, but that turned out to be nonsense. The heated pools were perfect temperature, and even the unheated pools were pleasant. The pools were lovely and a big selling point of the hotel in my view.
(2) restaurants. Some reviews said the food was overpriced and inconsistent. I'd say the overall standard was very good, and maybe you can get better value for money outside the hotel but it wasn't silly prices in the hotel - certainly very reasonable compared to the UK still. We had great meals at the Brasserie, Beach Club (twice!) and Alisio's. We then had a second meal at Alisio's which was mediocre. Would say the Trattoria was totally fine - strong pizzas but relatively bland other dishes. Sua (basque food) was absolutely delicious, but our service was a bit shoddy. Overall I was very satisfied by the quality of food (including the more informal lunch meals at pool restaurants), and while we had disappointing service at 2 dinners, I think to have slightly disappointing service at 2 out of 20 or so meals we ate in the hotel is pretty good going. And to be clear the poor service was a result of staff being run off their feet rather than not being good/pleasant staff.
I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a luxurious experience given the extremely high prices. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment.
First, the hotel’s equipment and facilities are incredibly outdated. The furniture looks like it hasn’t been replaced in decades.
The worst part, however, was the service. The receptionist, Irene, was particularly rude and unhelpful, treating guests as if they were a burden rather than valued customers. Instead of making the stay pleasant, she made it frustrating.
For the price this hotel charges, you can find far better options with modern amenities and professional staff.
Every member of the staff, with no exceptions, was very pleasant and did everything they could to make us happy.
The breakfast is incredibly rich and we enjoyed the possibility to have it in our room a couple of times.
The room with the garden view was of a nice size and the balcony felt very private. Overall, even though it is a hotel (and therefore full of tourists), it felt private and not mass-touristy in any way.
The only thing that we had some trouble with in the first night, was that we could hear every single word that was spoken in the room next to ours, but that may have been because of the connector doors (or maybe they were exceptionally loud).
We very much enjoyed staying here, thank you!
